The firecrackers had worked better than expected. Titus entered the Queen's room to find her asleep. His eyes darted around until he found the item in question he was supposed to take and snatched it up. Oh yeah, he was a ninja. The Queen didn't even stir.
With his prize held tightly in his fist he turned to make his way out of this place.

And leaving was just as easy as coming in. Okay maybe not, Titus had found his way easily enough back through the first few rooms being sure to keep his footfalls light since the last of the firecrackers had died out. There was no noise to cover him if he messed up at this point and it was near the end that his foot tapped something making the smallest of noises. It was enough because Titus had been descended on in seconds.
The demon struggled unwilling to give up being so close to freedom. He clawed, fought, and kicked and finally found his feet on the ground again. Without hesitation he made his way out the exit, the sac still secure in his hand. The demon was a little worse for wear, his jacket and hair a little disheveled, his arm sore where he had jerked his way free but he had made it.
Coming to a stop in front of Invictus he dropped the bag at his feet. "Not sure what this is but here you are." It was then that the demon started to right himself, straightening out his jacket dusting it off as if it were no big deal, despite the fact that he looked like hell. He was just glad he had managed it on the first go and would be sure to rub it in Shun's face.
HP: 20/30
Status: Now has a head far larger than when he started this journey.

Shun came back, looking incredibly displeased. He was very disappointed in his performance. Gritting his teeth, he let out a huff before preparing himself to go back into the hive.
Once he was inside, he began to navigate his way through. The first room presented no problems, but once he got to the second one, a soldier decided to take interest. tossing the ball of light to get it out of the way, the Reaper soon found a shortcut to lead him to the Queen's chamber.
This would have been useful to know of in his previous attempt.

As he made his way through the chamber to pick something up, the damn queen started moving about once more. Dammit!

Taking in a deep breath, Shun waited a little while before finally picking something up when it seemed like the Queen wasn't going to be moving around any time soon. With the object tucked away, he turned to start leaving. Hopefully this will go better than his last attempt to get the hell out of the hive.

On the way out, Shun lost sight of the shortcut, but it didn't matter so much. Moving his way through, he ran into a couple of the soldiers but managed to get away without so much of a fuss. Granted, he took a couple solid hits in doing so. Letting out a huff, he soon showed up outside, looking less than pleased. He still felt that he could have performed better. Perhaps everything that was going on as of late was distracting him.
"Here." he grumbled as he held out the item to Invictus.

Roch looked at them all. He could see the usefulness in all of them, but the firecrackers looked as if they'd be the most interesting. So he grabbed some, digging through his pockets and finding a lighter (yes, he didn't smoke, but hell, with as many smokers in his family, are you surprised he'd nicked one at one time or another?).
Then he headed in.
Something started beeping. He jerked and ran, but was hurt in the process. When he moved further in, he almost was caught again, only to toss one of the fire crackers down a side way, drawing their attention away from him.
Roch went on in.

For a moment he looked around the treasure room, wondering how in the hell they had collected so many strange things. Then he reached into the nest, only to wince in pain as the queen rolled onto his hand. Owwww.

He must have groped something that shouldn't have been groped, because the next thing Roch knew, he was being dragged out as the queen screamed. Greeeaaat. How the hell did he get so unstealthy??

Upon seeing Shun exiting the house well after he had with his prize Titus couldn't help but grin. Shun had started before him after all. "What took you so long, Soul Herder? Decided to chit chat with a queen a bit on the latest fashion or did you manage to botch up like you normally do?"

After turning in the object, Shun heard Titus take a jab at him. Glaring in the demon's direction, he placed his hands into his pockets and let out a scoff.
"Only fools would rush on a stealth mission," he hissed. There was no way in hell he was going to easily let it be known that he ended up getting killed in there his first time around. No, he was already disappointed in himself enough without needing Tits to prod it further.

Shehk looked between the two boils bickering for a moment, before she looked down to the ribbon around her wrist and to Invictus. "Since I still have this, am I allowed to go again?" she asked. The horseman waved a hand. "Certainly."
Shehk shrugged before she turned to enter the trial again.
Stepping inside, the first three rooms proved to not be too difficult. However, the last room did require a bit of finesse to suddenly bolt from one of those things that had seen her, nearly tripping into the Queen's chamber......

Phew...she was feeling...kinda tired after that, actually. If she got caught or rolled on now, she'd be pretty busted.
However, the queen didn't even seem to notice as she picked up a small squirming..bag..of something-or-other off of the pile and turned it over in her hand...it seemed to squeak and she immediately cradled it in her arms and turned to leave.

Well, now all she needed to do was get out, and she was feeling pretty damn winded at the moment too. But it seemed getting out was just a skill Shehk had in getting in and out of places, noting a new shortcut in the third room which she easily pushed herself into before she again snuck out of the slit near the entrance and stepped outside, ribbon still in tow.
And a strange new prize.
"Um...Invictus? Mr. Conquest? What do you...."
"Invictus is fine." he answered calmly, noting that the pricolici seemed to be puzzling over what she was holding. "That...you do not have to give me. Keep it." he said calmly, before looking at the ribbon still tied around the ghoul's wrist, as well as that she still seemed to be..winded to an extent.
"Take a rest. You don't need to try again if you don't wish to."

Titus' grin grew. It was like he could sense that Shun was trying to hide his shame though really he had no idea what had happened. "Run into a bit of trouble did you?" The demon mused as if he knew all.
"It's okay, Soul Herder, they still have this thing called second place which means you were the first to lose, so you are at least the first at something."
