Israfel was here. He had heard some stuff about things. Most that The Human World is still dangerous, there wast something called D.E.T.H, and there was apparently a paper that talked about professors. Israfel didn't really linger on it long as he more important things! Like- "EMILY!" The siren grinned, hopping over to the reaper. "It has been a long time. Are you doing well? Oh Hi." He looked at her cat. "Can I pet it?" Looking at Hel he smiled. "Emily is very nice! And smart! She taught me about protection charms! How are you Hel?"

Mitsu had managed to stroll by and see the flyer. Normally classes were posted ahead of time but this one....this one was in a few minutes. She was curious though despite her leeriness of the human world. Heading toward the gym Mitsu realized it was a buzz with conversation, her ears tilting this way and that as she picked up snippets of speech.
"I heard that there are these false reapers about in the Human World.... .... very straightforward... ... we should go together and try it out.."
Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Mitsu already knew of the 'false reapers' so the students who were talking must have been new to Amityville. She felt bad for them because learning of the Hunters was a terrible surprise.

Talk about luck! First Astra had been able to scare some live humans, and now she may have the opportunity to go to the human world! Having seen the flyers, she had turned up eagerly for the class. She saw a few familiar faces about, but more importantly, she was hearing some strange things too.
The first few things didn't interest her much. Professors did run open classes, and she was sure some students would say things about the professors not knowing what they were doing. However, one seemed to catch her attention.
The old headmaster would never have allowed this
The fairy paused at this one. The old headmaster? She knew about Hellma of course, but she had no idea what the previous Headmaster would of been like...

Thackery was definitely one of the students who was making a fortress kingdom out of the paper flyers, but it didn't create a forcefield to the gossip. He was intrigued when the idea of a trip to the human world seemed to be ahead, but that wasn't for at least another thirty minutes or so, and there were castles to be made. Every now and then, however, an interesting comment came up, and he couldn't resist being a little nosey. He had to know the gossip of the lands.
"I heard that there are these false reapers about in the Human World..." began the first, hushed by the sound of some students shuffling past. His ears twitched as he tried to listen in again, picking up another conversation entirely.
...the Professor runs an open class... came a second voice. Yes, that seemed to be what was happening. He wasn't sure why, but he didn't suppose he really cared just yet. That would come later, when he needed to make a gameplan on how to best lead his subjects to victory.
"...would be interesting to see what they have to say about Fear..." The first voice broke through again, presumably referring to the false reapers. It was an interesting thought - would a fake reaper even know what FEAR was?
Frowning thoughtfully, he started to stack a roof onto his main chamber room.

No hand shake? Ah well. That didn’t spare Emily from Hel’s urge to touch though, as the reaper placed (what she hoped as an encouraging gesture) a hand on the smaller ghoul’s shoulder. “ It is a pleasure to meet you Emily! Uh…speak up, friend! I can not hear you…” Hel leaned closer, trying to make out what she was saying, until the familiar spoke up again. “… Oh…over a year?” Holy Jack, and she hadn’t seen her until now? “ Uh…why are you hiding in your closet?” Then a very familiar Siren appeared. “ Oh! Hello there, Israfel! Uh…” Protection charms you say? This little sweet timid ghoul, really? Hel was having a hard time believing that.

Do you think they know information about Red?... ....they have worked in the Human World before... ... seems promising...
Shehk's ears always burned at mention of Red, so it was no surprise her ears perked when she heard the name murmured by another pair of students as she passed by, half lingering to head what was said, but still taking it in curiously.
More information about Red, was there? That piqued her curiosity a lot and she made a note to attend whatever this....event...would be. She needed to make evaluations herself of what was going on with this strange new Professor. Perhaps it was Jericho's influence but she wasn't sure she was just going to outright trust any new face.
But she would listen to what they said.

"I heard that all humans are vicious and hateful... "
Well, Herryk had always thought so, too. But after the combat he'd been through with the hunter known as Before, Herryk wasn't... really have doubts. He just wasn't so sure that they were all as strong and powerful as everyone thought they were. Then again, maybe Herryk had just been lucky. After all, the first time he'd seen the hunter with the big wheel, Herryk had taken the wheel to the face and had woken up after dissipating back into the room with the lips. The lips on the wall.
Jack damned haunted house.
".... contracts...."
That next little phrase caught his ear. What did that mean?
"I'm moving away from Amityville away so it doesn't matter."
Herryk scowled at that. Sure, he had a place he could go (two places if he counted moving to Freya's hometown), but why would he want to leave? He had friends here. He belonged here. There wasn't another place he could imagine being.
All in all, the rumors that were whipping around were obviously spreading like wildfire. Herryk had never enjoyed rumors, so he was hesitant to linger just so that he could eavesdrop.

What if the Bogeymen know about this?...
Ouuu, that was a real possibility. Tomoko hadn't been sure what had been going on with the Bogeymen lately. Did she trust them? Did she not trust them? What were they doing? They seemed to have it out for their school for some reason and she hadn't really liked that in the least.
Very mean.
.... very straightforward...
Who was very straightforward? Were they talking about the new professor? She hadn't met nor seen them, but she saw no reason why she couldn't go listen to them talk for a little bit. Maybe she would..learn something....
... seems promising
It did seem promising....

"I heard that there are these false reapers about in the Human World.... "
JD had decided to stop lounging on the Demon dorm couches to attend some guest lecture or another. It apparently was Kind of a Big Deal.
Not unlike him.
At any rate, the campus was just buzzing with rumors. Not that he cared. In fact, his disinterest was READILY clear from the way he seemed to stop and hang onto every scrap of whispered information. Yeah, he was way too cool for this. He was One Cool Cat. Or something. He wondered who this guest speaker was anyway; supposedly, they'd worked in the Human World before. That was pretty fly, he had to admit to himself. He was pretty sure his dad had been to the Human World once - some kind of PR stunt probably- but he'd never really been.
"...I'm moving away from Amityville away so it doesn't matter," a very attractive ghoul announced suddenly as strolled past her. Ugh. Was everyone going to leave? Was he going to be stuck here alone? That would just blow.
QQ more, JD. QQ more.

Titus was being every bit of neglectful to his next class. He really didn't want to make a trek up a mountain again only to be beaten by multiple creatures and thrown back down. Instead he was wandering the halls when he came across a flyer for a new class. Well, it was excuse enough to attend one class to skip another.
Taking the flyer Titus made his way to the gym where it was said to be, looking around at the groups of people already gathered and chatting. As he walked by he seemed to pick up on some of the conversation.
"What if the Bogeymen know about this?... .... contracts.... ... seems promising "
His ears had perked at the mention of the Bogeymen. They weren't his favorite people by far but it seemed interesting that whatever they were dealing with was questionable enough to bring them up. And contracts....being a demon Titus knew about contracts. So was this QB a demon then? Guess he would find out.

What if the Bogeymen know about this?...
What if the Bogeymen knew? Sura could have cared less. The Bogeymen probably shouldn't have cared to begin with. Or rather, they wouldn't. She wasn't sure what the Bogeymen's function even was. Being out in an open group of people confused a certain part of her and part of that was social structure.
The only reason why she didn't just break said social protocol was because she'd been advised not to. Strongly.
....they have worked in the Human World before...
They were just humans. She couldn't see why the Human World was so interesting. She didn't understand the fascination with that tidbit of information. Was it a particularly rare accomplishment? That would have explained it, she guessed.
Maybe.
Sura didn't know. She somewhat didn't care either.
... I'm moving away from Amityville away so it doesn't matter
Good luck with that train of thought. Sura was smart enough to know that it took a great amount of distance to not have some ripple effect of things. As it stood, she was sure that somehow the individual thinking that by leaving they were changing things for themselves just were removing themselves from direct control of how it effected them.
When had she gotten so...bitter? Maybe she was just still riled up.

After trying her very hardest to be social during Scarentine's, Shine really didn't feel like leaving her room for quite a while. But that wasn't what normal people did, right? She couldn't skip out on all of her classes, and her new friends might worry about her...
So she dragged herself down the halls, frowning with worry as she saw a high concentration of papers. Was something wrong? She remembered the signs that were set up when the school was closing, but these seemed a little different, and there were so many.
"I heard that all humans are vicious and hateful..." It sounded almost like the whispers that internally taunted her during the invasion, but she heard these from her real ears, not just her brain. She fished up one of the papers - a trip to the human world? But hadn't they just said...
"... the Professor runs an open class, and next thing you know, we're all dead, just like that..."
What? Who had said that? Worried eyes scanned the crowd for a culprit, but nearly everyone was talking. She began to look frantic.
"...I wouldn't go if I were you."
"I...I...what...um, why?" she croaked, whirling around to see who had spoken to her, but nobody was even looking at her. Was she in danger?
Nervously, she clutched the paper in her clawed hands until it crumpled to near nothingness.

"The Human World is still dangerous.... "Aymet wanted to thank Captain Obvious, but he had vanished in the sea of students too fast to say much of anything to. Oh well. Maybe another time. Then again the danger hadn't really been to him that much. "....are they related to D.E.T.H.?...."Before he could ask about this, an impatient student had pushed by and snagged his wing. It popped right out. The chase was on. "... would be interesting to see what they have to say about Fear..."Trying to put himself together again, the Dracolich bumped into someone. The cold fire in his eyes brightened. Another undead? She looked nervous. "You okay?"

There were so many students around, so much hushed whispering with the odd louder sentence coming through. Alex, after having a glance around for any familiar faces, turned himself fully towards Yin. "Uh, well...The poster said that the professor would be explaining the fundamentals of Fear and that the class would include a small field trip exercise to the Human World. I just thought it sounded interesting..." And so did half of the school, by the look of things What if the Bogeymen know about this?... ....they have worked in the Human World before...... we should go together and try it out The words of other students were blending together into confused sentences in Alex's head, and once in a while, somebody would push by and jostle him, as the hallway in front of the gymnasium got ever more crowded. Crowds didn't really bother the zomboil, however.
