The goddess in dragon skin snorted and shook her head again, not enjoying yet another face full of grass. Where was all that dancer's grace she had acquired from her host when she needed it? At least the dragon king had not laughed at her yet. "I understand...I think." She rose and shook a bit to dislodge any grass that might have been picked up after that last tumble.
Tien turned around to try again. The landing was certainly better than last time, she stumbled but managed to avoid an outright face meets grass crash. "HA! I did it....sort of."

Well, it was amusing in it's own way, but really, it would be a little counter-constructive to laugh. His first times flying after his rebirth had only been slightly better, as it were.
"Yes, that was much better !" There was a kind of fatherly pride in his voice, his tail wagging back and forth happily. Clearly the hardest you tried to fight what came naturally, the quicker it came back running. Her current form did not help at all. It brought... small flickers of feelings back on the forefront, that he was not sure he understood.

After a few more tries she eventually managed to stick the landing, stopping herself just short of where Xun stood. She laughed, proud she had accomplished something. "Got it now, I think!"

"Good, good. That wasn't so hard now, was it ?" Really, Tien was a quick learner, which probably mean she had once known this - most of the gods did have their own wings to fly with, after all, through some seemed perfectly content with being grounded.
"Do not overexert yourself, through. That is enough for now." Really, he doubted it was as easy for her as it was for him.

Tien resettled herself into the grass, now that she was sitting idle the weariness of it all was beginning to catch up with her. Holding another shape for any length of time was rough on its own, compounding flying on top of that made it even more exhausting. She yawned widely, clearly more worn out than she thought. "It seems you are right, even if I wish it wasn't the case."

"I should leave you to rest." He nodded. And check on Shaig, too while he was at it... when he had left, the young troll had been sleeping, but he might have awakened in the meanwhile.
"If you ever have a need of me, I am often in the gardens, or else my aoide know where to find me." He could have said which door was his, but... He thought that the little secretive wyrmling might enjoy the challenge.
He changed shape in mid-step with obvious ease, being back to the more humanoid guise - and, well, very naked, just as he reached the door. But, well, it wasn't like he had anything that the goddess had never seen before. Currently, at least.
And then, Xun Jiang walked up the steps and was gone.
