Hel listened to Shun’s steps. Well…that sounded easy enough, though Hel wasn’t too sure about this…quiet business.
The valkyrie stared at the Grim Reaper as he seemed to settle, and took a moment to do the same as well. She mimicked Shun’s pose and took a deep breath. Hel closed her eyes, her brows furrowed and her lips pulled down into a frown. The ghoul held this for a moment before her foot started to twitch back and forth. “Shun, am I doing this correctly?” She asked, breaking the silence once more.

"If you have to ask, no. Now be quiet. Focus on controlling your breathing," Shun grumbled. He was wondering if the loud Valkyrie was really capable of doing something like this. Even remotely. Well... there was only one way to find out, he supposed. Actually, he was really hoping that she would be able to utilize this.
It might make her less...
Overwhelming.

The valkyrie scowled at Shun’s reply. “Focus on controlling my breathing?” She echoed. “My body does that already though!”
Poor, poor Shun.
“…How? Like…should I be timing out how many breaths I take every minute or what?” Hel’s foot twitched back and forth again, and the ghoul’s hands curled around her ankles. Even the prospect of sitting completely still didn’t seem to be within her grasp at the moment.

Shun's face twitched at the question, though he kept his eyes closed. If Hel were to look at him, she might have seen a rather annoyed expression upon his face.
"Don't ask. Just do it. Breath in and out slowly. Focusing on one small thing will help clear your mind. Now. Shut. Up."
Shifting in place, he tried to resume. Too many. Damn. Distractions.

Shun emoting something more than “ : | “ ? Amazing. Hel couldn’t help but be briefly amused as she glanced at his face before snapping her eyes shut once more.
“No you.” Hel shot back every so maturely as she huffed, and then took a deep breath and held it for a few moments before exhaling loudly. She then focused on breathing in and out slowly, but at least quietly this time. Her legs still couldn’t help bit fidget up and down though. One small thing that will clear her mind…
“Shun.”
So much for silence.
“…I have never cleared my mind before. How do you clear it?”

Shun twitched again as she shot back at him. But things had fallen silent after that, so perhaps this was working out. He was just about to get into the zone when the silence was broken once more. Letting out a sigh, his hands clenched into fists for a moment as his irritation was building up slowly.
"It is as I said. Focus on one small thing. Nothing else. With time, the other thoughts will go away. Focus!"
And with that, he tried to get back into a meditative state. This was proving to be difficult when he was being asked questions every other minute.

“What should I focus on?”
Hel shifted again, looking to the grim reaper for answers, before he seemed to be trying to get back into the zone. Ugh. Okay then…
The reaper huffed and closed her eyes again, a frown pulling at her lips as she tried to focus on something. One small thing…Hmmm. One small thing…well…Heimdall was small! With that in mind, Hel thought about her little Lore foxfire, and how round and cute and fluffy he was…aww she could imagine him so clearly right now!

Grimacing, Shun decided not to answer Hel that time around. It was on her to figure it out herself. By Jack, he didn't need to hold her hand through this damn process. It was like dealing with a little scareling! The idea of adopting the method of smacking her each time she spoke or whatever came to mind. It was a very tempting idea to say in the very least.
He let out another huff, hoping that would be the last of it.

You have to give Hel come credit. A whole five minutes of silence went by before she spoke up again. At least the ghoul was sitting fairly still and still had her eyed closed. “Shun.” She started, still thinking about how cute Hemidall was.
“How do I know when I am done?”

Shun thought it might have actually worked. That was, until Hel decided to break the silence once more after a few minutes had passed by.
"You're done when you're done. Now enough with the jacking questions," he grumbled under his breath. He was barely getting anywhere with his own meditation attempts because of this.

Oh, one of those things, huh?
“But how will I learn if I do not ask?” Hel questioned, and took a deep breath once more before focusing back on Heimdall. Small…hmm…reflect….reflect on that exactly? What did she want to think about right now? A lot of things seemed to be coming up all at once, and she lost track of how she was thinking about Heimdall. Hel opened her eyes, blinking.
“…I should not let a lot of thoughts enter, huh?”

Shun's eyes slit open to glance over to the side where Hel sat. Staring in her direction for a moment or so, he just lifted up a hand before thwaping her on the head.
"Stop talking. In time, your thoughts will narrow in on one thing, or perhaps nothing at all. Now. Seriously. Shut up."
Closing his eyes completely again, he grimaced, while trying to slip back into a meditative state.

Hel stared back at Shun, raising a brow curiously before he went and whapped her head. “OI!” The reaper cried, hands coming up to grasp her head. “What was that for?!” She growled, glaring at Shun, and fought the overwhelming urge to whap him back.
The ghoul continued to glare daggers at the grim, clenching a fist, but thought against it, and settled back down once more, grumbling under her breath until she fell silent, and tried focusing on one thing once more.

"You're doing it wrong," Shun said with a hint of agitation. He kept his eyes closed, so he didn't see that glare she shot at him. Not that it mattered anyway. The more he was trying to fight against her in this, the less he was actually meditating. It was the same for her really.
He was beginning to think she was incapable of this sort of thing, however.

“I will show you wrong.” Hel muttered under her breath, but luckily, kept her position and her eyes closed. Now, she was just determined to show Shun that she could conquer this challenge he set forth, and she would.
Thus, the ghoul sat quietly with her hands clasped and elbows resting on her legs as she focused on something little.
