"I bet you would be a great singer, you have such a nice voice." He smiled at her. "I think that's the door, if I'm correct, I get to buy you a huge cookie." He laughed, he didn't even know if she liked cookies, but it was a fun thought. If she doesn't like cookies, then ice cream would have to do. He felt really happy deep inside, for the first time since before his older brothers picked on him and tormented him.

Emily cast her eyes down shyly. "Me? A singer? Oh no.. That's Suki... She's the one with all the musical talent..." She chuckles nervously before looking at the door. "I hope so... I just want to deliver these things and get out of this neighborhood..." She was happy being with Joey, simplistically happy was the best way she could describe it. Like Cinderella after finding Prince charming.

"I bet you would, you have a very pretty voice Em." He led the way. "Is this the right addy?" He pointed to the sign. He laughed at how cute Emily looked right now, she had a box balanced, and it made her look so...sexy. He shook his head. Don't think like that right now! Gotta keep cool! **sighs**

She blinked looking at him with wide pink eyes. "I've never even tried to sing.. I'm just not confident in such things but it's ok really it is.." She eyed the address plaque and then the paper. "That's it! I must have passed this place by loads of times." With a sense of urgency in her gait, she headed for the door, eager to be rid of her current task at hand.

Joey still thought she would sound beautiful, but he didn't want to bug her. "Great, almost done, then we can meet your family." He fallowed her gladly, he was getting sick and tired of these damn boxes, not that they were heavy, just the fact he had to hold them.

Emily nodded. "Definitely, though... I don't know if both my mom's will be home but we can try!" She chuckled and entered the building heading up some stairs. Reaching another door, she knocked on it gently. A portly noodle answered the door and with a smile she handed the first of the boxes over. Offering her apologies, she nodded to Joey to let him know it was alright to hand his burden over.

Joey handed the rest of the boxes, he didn't smile but he nodded his head. "let's go Emily...." He wanted to get out of this area, so he would feel less stressed. He didn't mind protecting Emily, but he didn't want her to get scared. "Let's go meet your moms!" He tried hard to sound excited, but he was scared they would see him as, well just not good enough. He leaned towards Emily and kissed her cute little nose.

The fox that had been waiting for the boxes huffed and closed the door. Looking over her shoulder as she turned to leave with Joey, she blinked then turned to look at Joey with a smile, only to be met with a kiss on her nose. Chuckling, she nodded and gave his cheek a kiss in return. "All right... lets go see if they're home shall we?"

Joey wondered if he should be scared?? "Are they nice? Should I be worried?" He bit his lip, he didn't want to seem like a sissy. "I mean, I want to make a good impression, wanna be on their good sides, ya know?" He fallowed Emily. "err....I can give a bad impression pretty easily, lotsa people don't like me. What will happen if they don't like me...." He stopped caring if he was a sissy or not, now he worried if Emily will be aloud to hang out with him? He sighed, then relaxed that this was probably the last time he would be able to hang out with her. He decided that if he had just one more hug, then he might be okay for a short time before she was told not to hang around her. He hugged her stopping her from walking. "I-i just don''t wanna lose you...maybe we should not go see your mothers..."

Hugging him in return she shook her head gently and smiled. "You'll be fine.. My mothers are very kind foxes, Joey." She chuckled lightly and took a step back so as to look at him. "But if you'd like to postpone meeting them.. I won't pressure you, honestly. I want you to feel comfortable and relaxed when you meet them. After all, I want them to meet the charming individual I met and have grown so close to." She beamed at him. Sure, she too had her own fears about weather or not her family would scare him off.. more so her sister Suki than anything.

He smiled at Emily. "Naw, I'm fine, I really wanna meet your fam. If they don't like me, we can sneak behind their backs." he joked. He needed to relax anyways, I mean they raised Emily, so they would reflect in their image, he hoped. He wasn't like anyone in his family. 'Let's Go meet em, the faster I meet them, the faster my anxiety goes away. Least you don't have sisters or brothers." He laughed, those are really awkward to meet.

She paused a moment. "Actually... I thought I'd told you... I have two sisters.." She smiled and looked at him wondering if this would change anything. "They were born not long after I was adopted..." She gave a rather sheepish look. "So you see... I'm the eldest."

His eyes widened. "I come from a family with 5 older brothers, they are a buncha jerks!!" But his parents were horrible parents, so they could be different...and they were younger!!! "Ha, if they are younger, there's no problem!"

She chuckled and shook her head. "We'll see..." She smiled and continued, leading the way to the home she'd grown up in. her gait was smooth, careful and slow so as not to loose him as she went. Normally she might have just flown home, after all it was the quickest way, but Joey had no wings of his own so that wasn't going to be an option.
It took them a while but finally after cutting back through the park, she rounded to corner and saw the small quaint and warm house she shared with her mothers and sisters for the time being. "We're nearly there!"

Tsukiko kept glancing at the clock and the door, watching for her eldest daughter. It wasn't like Emily to be late without sending word, but then the Spartan knew her daughter liked to help others. Her rational mind told her that Emily had just gotten caught up helping someone, but there was an irrational part that kept thinking something bad had happened to her. She hoped Emily would be home soon... Asmara giggled as she hopped around the house, helping her moms with dinner. She smiled when she saw Tsukiko's worried face and nuzzled her a little. "Don't worry so much, mom~ I'm sure Em's just being Em~!" she said and started humming a silly tune as she chopped up some veggies.
