"...It seems so. Yes." Really, she looked just as confused as the others would likely be. After all, she'd had no idea what they'd been saying five minutes ago !
How strange. But in a way, it made sense. A god that could not understand potential followers was... a bad thing.
"I am sure he would be happy to see you, Rio." No use keeping the conversation separate, now. That and Concerto always seemed to be missing Love, after having spent so long with him.

Hm? Leo caught onto it before he did, and soon Echo was speaking to them both. Rio blinked in surprise, but quickly grinned. Ah, that's handy! Though I suppose I shouldn't be so surprised. You are Music, after all.
Love missed Concerto quite a bit, himself, and was still a bit sad he'd had to go back to his mistress. He would have been more than happy to appropriate him...and Ishum, and Asherah, and pretty much every aoide ever. He already seemed to have 'stolen' Justice's, but the goddess wasn't quite back yet, so...he was just going to hold onto her a little longer.

Leo looked a little puzzled, now that he understood. Not realizing at first they had continued their conversation just now in a language he understood. Perhaps, I should see if I can learn your language too. Might be an interesting project. His Eglantine mind was already pondering ideas on ways to go about it.

"It would certainly be good for you to learn." Echo said with a nod. In spite of her newness to the language and the awkwardness she had with some of the words, her voice had kept it's usual musical quality to it. "Oh, perhaps my son could help you ? He is certainly a better teacher than I am, and he seems to enjoy it." Maybe Akakios would have a similar language barrier... But maybe he would just pick it up just like she had !
Really. Strange, even if it made sense.

I'd be happy to help, too, Rio added to the offer. After all, Leo was going going to be here awhile - well, he hoped so - and he'd be better able to be social on his own. Not that Rio would really mind going everywhere with him.

The help would certainly be appreciated. As much as he enjoyed studying history, lore and languages his strengths lie elsewhere. The only other language he had any real knowledge of Caerdicci, which they might recognize as Italian, and it was more a scholar and diplomat's tongue.

"Well, I will do my best to find him." Rio knew why, but Leo might be a little confused. Probably would be even more confused to see her son about as 'old' as she was !
But, really, there was no avoiding it, should they meet.

Taken to wandering, has he? Though he sympathized, Rio could still tease, and wasted no more time before doing so. Are you sure you don't want to keep a better eye on him? Adi says he's very handsome.

Clearly Adi was an expert in men !
"And you are such a flatterer, as well !" Yes, Leo certainly seemed to take after Rio, as far as Echo was concerned. "He is the child that has taken from me the most, yes." Crys had taken more after her father, in a way that most would not know unless they had been around for Underworld's rebirth itself. And Soto... Wel. Soto was a bit of an enigma, if you tried to relate it on a mortal level.

Considering she noticed despite her infatuation with Elik, perhaps so. Rio grinned. Though the words were teasing, they were also fond - first loves were generally adorable, and since Adi was involved, well. Even more adorable.

Really, Love and Music had always worked together in their own way.

If Echo had spoken that last thought out loud, Rio would have been on it in an instant, teasing and suggestive, but since she didn't...she was spared. This time.
