I was just giving her some sword skills from the Tales of games, since in Touhou they use spell cards, which are kind of different I think. Here are her spell cards in the game she appears in, so you know what they look like. Now that I look at them, I'm kind of thinking how I could turn them into attacks in this roleplay... give me a minute to come up with some stuff.

Azura Cantarella Evilweirdo 0 Also, I would like to claim another canon for use on Tethe'alla... The Wonder Chef! What say you? Wow, I wonder how you'll make that work. I know I said no profiles are needed for canon characters, but...I wanna see what you do with him. Will you give him attacks and stuff? O_o I think I'll change that rule to not needing profiles for the main crew.I have already begun filling it in, as I foresaw that that would be necessary. Perhaps no profiles should be required for the main cast, anyway. The Wonder Chef is hardly a main character. I strive for unusual characters! No Jacks or Johns (except maybe Egberts) here, no sir! Yes, he'll be very cheesy, in more ways than one. Sirea Angelie Aerith....Has her stick! PONG! No, Aerith! You ARE the Cetra! And then Aerith was Jenova! *pong/pling* *pchoooo, of course*

I think I'm gonna pare down the characters I'll use.
Cabel's right out, too gun heavy. Cross is iffy, depending on if Azura will let me use him. Chris is alright, as long as Azura doesn't mind his copy powers. Shinobi is also fine, as far as I know. Wildstorm, I don't think I'll use, just because I'm making him for a PF campaign right now.

@Evil: You're thinking ahead and I like that. Thank you. xd Faung Mei Well, I wanted to add Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden. But, as far as I know Ninja Gaiden took place in Japan, so I don't think it would really make any sense .-.
It could just be me, but I HIGHLY doubt it xD Well, the cataclysm set off glitches in time and space. It could be something as simple as getting sucked into a strange vortex. 3nodding Youkai Saint I was just giving her some sword skills from the Tales of games, since in Touhou they use spell cards, which are kind of different I think. Here are her spell cards in the game she appears in, so you know what they look like. Now that I look at them, I'm kind of thinking how I could turn them into attacks in this roleplay... give me a minute to come up with some stuff. It's just...being from a non-Tales universe, it wouldn't make sense for her to have Tales artes to begin with. sweatdrop I would say she could end up learning them, though, as long as someone teaches her.
And this is just my personal opinion, but damn. It looks to me like Touhou's brand of bullet hell are Mystic Arte material, really. You can choose at least one to be a Mystic Arte, but maybe try to make versions of the other spells that are toned down? RP_Master_Jak Cross is iffy, depending on if Azura will let me use him. Chris is alright, as long as Azura doesn't mind his copy powers. What are these things you think I'll have issues with for Cross, and what exactly do Chris' copy powers entail?

Well, for one, Cross is a Planeswalker, which even the modern, powered down versions tend to make people, iffy about. It mostly involves having a lot of spells to call upon and a lot of mana to cast them, although modern 'walkers aren't immortal or as powerful as their older versions.
As for Chris, his zanpaku-to is named "Doppelganger", and when he has it in Shikai or Bankai forms, if he hits someone with his sword's forms or his body, he copies 1/100th of them. This stacks each time he hits them, so the more hits he lands, the more of them he copies. Then he can use an ability called Doppel style to use the moves of any person he's copied, but it changes his hairstyle to match the person he's copying (and Chris is REALLY defensive about his hair). In his Bankai form, he can turn any of the five pieces of his armor or his sword or shield into a copy of the person, fighting at the skill level he's copied them at. It takes 100 hits on someone to fully copy them though, and he's yet to get that far with anyone.

*Salutes* Yes ma'am!! I think I'll make the Asura sword her Mystic Art, and definetly tone down her other spell cards.

Hmmm... wonder if I could incorporate the spirit twins in some way... not on mission, but more of a vacation spot... gone terribly wrong. sweatdrop
OH! Idea, have them away from each other. One in Tethe'alla and the other in Sylvarant.

I'll be putting Rei in Zeal, as well. I've altered her profile, so I probably need it okay'd again by Azura and Vance! biggrin
And Rei is gonna work on Verius profile soon enough.

It takes 100 hits on someone to fully copy them though, and he's yet to get that far with anyone. Did a little research and I think the modern versions are toned down enough. Having lots of spells does sound like an issue, but he could soon find that he should cast spells scarcely? I mean, at present time in the RP, the Great Tree has been split in half to provide mana for both worlds, and I assume that would make it generate mana at a slower rate. Not to mention, that mana is likely needed to help the worlds heal and stay alive after being split apart again.
And regarding Chris...I am most in favor of copy powers where the abilities are only kept temporarily, or there's a reasonable limit on the number of abilites that can be copied...but Chris' does still have some working at to do. That passes. 3nodding Lord Lee Major Hmmm... wonder if I could incorporate the spirit twins in some way... not on mission, but more of a vacation spot... gone terribly wrong. sweatdrop
OH! Idea, have them away from each other. One in Tethe'alla and the other in Sylvarant. You can use whatever characters you want, really. biggrin That sounds like a neat idea.Pajamas Sway I'll be putting Rei in Zeal, as well. I've altered her profile, so I probably need it okay'd again by Azura and Vance! biggrin And Rei is gonna work on Verius profile soon enough. I think the thing you need the most is a valid reason why Verius would want to be out and about and fighting. His "humanizing" can be justified as him being a Summon Spirit and thus being able to take whatever form he sees fit. And as a real Summon Spirit now, he should hold some powers.
It's just that Verius has expressed that he can't form pacts or desires not to, either one of the two.

Well, I assume the suffering in peoples hearts over this demon crisis might bring Verius out and make him active. Ratatosk or the chosen one might be able to be put in as a mysterious reason? Colette or Sheena might have sought Verius out and asked for him to come out and be active. I would keep it that he desires not to form packs as it is now, to leave him capable of doing so if the need or plot device should arise.
The Summon form pretty much sums up the human form thing, as you said. If its alright with you, I'll stick to the "brought out by the combined suffering in the hearts of humans" thing, or if you want, we can put in that Sheena or Colette managed to find Verius (I would assume he would be in the shrine outside Lloyd's home town where he was before.) and ask for his assistance. surprised

Yeah, that sounds like it makes sense! I also do think Verius remains at the Temple of Martel near Iselia, so I would say Colette was the one who called him out by going to the temple and saying a prayer. surprised
That reminds me, perhaps there should be some lines in the Story that provide a starting point for the main crew, something that should tells us what each one is doing around the start of the RP. ...Anyone got ideas? sweatdrop
