omgIisonfiyah Wait the never-ending summer vacation or is it something else? I'm not positive, but that sounds like it. From what I hear it had a time loop, and they were all the same episode with just subtle changes. rofl

That pissed me off to no end. I was getting so annoyed that I was prepared to skip the episode if it brought up the same intro.

Palantine Ah, just thought of another one. Have you seen Noein? I saw some of it...dubbed. SciFi aired it for awhile on "Animonday". I'm pretty sure they also paid for the dubbing. It seems like anything SciFi gets their hands on turns to crap, because they pay as little as possible to get the dub done. That's what happened to gurren lagann. gonk If I was going to try it again I'd probably have to try it subbed. I'll always resent SciFi for trying to get into the anime market. stare Couldn't they just make more interesting miniseries and shows? crying

Well if you are looking for a movie I would say 'The Vision of Escaflowne' It's a good fantasy movie, and the TV series isn't that bad either- though it's more of a chick flick and you kind of want to murder Hitome for being a pain in the a**. I still love it.
I'm not really sure about any new stuff though. The latest thing I've watched is Tiger and Bunny and that was amazing, but a lot of the newer stuff in my opinion is crap.

Ah, okay. A friend of mine recommended it and let me borrow his DVDs. It didn't really interest me much at first, but it picked itself up pretty quickly after the first 5-6 episodes and was really well done. surprised It's about inter-dimensional stuff, if you recall. They had some really cool ideas when explaining how it all worked.

After looking at tiger and bunny I definitely want to see it. I don't get enough super hero stuff in my diet, plus I think it's great that they're all sponsored like race cars. rofl I seem to remember bits and pieces of Escaflowne, not sure if I watched the series some time ago, or if it was the movie. I'll have to do more research. I definitely watched something about it before though. xp

The movie is the better of the two, though I still stay the TV series will be my all time favorite. and yes, Tiger and Bunny is a must they may still have it on Hulu too... I don't know...

I'm sure I had a psychic episode about this exact moment over a year ago in a dream... neutral It's passing now, but I really don't like when that happens to me. xp At any rate I'll give it another shot, I do agree that looking past the crappy english voice acting, the concept did interest me. 3nodding

That would probably explain it then, I did watch a lot of Kids WB. xd It is still on hulu, I checked before I posted back last time and forgot to mention. It's only subbed but it seemed great so I'm just gonna watch it anyways. rofl

I'm a little weary of dubs now a days, most are pretty horrible, and I would hate for them to ruin Tiger and bunny with poor translations and voice acting...

I know what you mean, if I could just understand japanese I wouldn't bother with the dubs, but it's hard to work on anything else when you have to read everything constantly. It's nice to have an anime or two handy I can just kinda pop on and enjoy while focusing on another task. neutral
