"My legs are fine, thanks." she smiled. As they moved forward, she could hear the gurgling of the stream ahead.
"I love it here. This stream is one of my favorite places to come. The water is refreshing and there are usually some yummy plants and berries to eat nearby."
She stopped at the water's edge and bent to take a drink, relishing the cool liquid as she took big gulps. Her hair fell forward into the water and when she stood back up, the wet hair cooled her neck.
"So, Raja, do you have any family nearby? I know you mentioned you were surveying the land. Are you thinking of staying in the area?" she asked, wanting to know more about this mysterious stallion.

Raja giggled at the mares reply about her legs. "They gotta be sore, that's prolly the most you've had to use them," he joked just as they approached the stream.
He was excited to have spent the morning with Pyper, and hoped that more days like this would be ahead. "This water is refreshing," he said to the mare, "and I will have to try some if these berries." Raja bent down and grabbed a few berries. As he stood up, he turned his head to offer them to Pyper. He then lowered his head to grab a few more, spending a few minutes to savor the juices.
Suddenly, Raja froze in place, dropping the berries in his mouth. For a moment he was speachless. He didn't want to answer Pypers question, bu he knew he owed it to her. "I..... Don't know....." Raja couldn't finish anymore of his thoughts.

Looneytaz82 Moxxiie Sorry it's taken me so long to tag. I just haven't had an RP muse for a little while. ^.^;
She was pleased that he offered her some of the berries and took them appreciatively. "Thanks," she said, through clenched teeth, not wanting to spit any berries or juices at him. She ate them happily, but when he dropped his own after she had asked her question, she assumed she'd caught him off guard with her curiousity. "Oh!" She swallowed her berries quickly. "I'm...I'm sorry. Please, just ignore my ramblings. You just met me, of course that might be too forward of me to ask." She quickly bent and took another bite of berries to fill the awkwardness she'd created. "MMm. These are so good aren't they?" she mumbled between nibbles.

Raja couldn't get his nerve back together right away. It wasn't characteristic of him, but he couldn't speak. He sat quiet for a couple of moments. He wanted to say something. Even though he had just met the mare, he did care for her, at least a bit. He wanted to tell her. "Don't.... apologize!" he managed to squeak out. No one had asked him about his family before.
Raja waited a few more moments, hoping the silence wasn't hurting his new friendship, and hoping he could find a way to change the subject. "Please.... Please don't be.... mad at me." he finished as he put his head down even farther.

She watched him through her lashes as she kept her head lowered to eat. As the silence built, she itched with the urge to change the subject. Just as she was about to speak again, he broke the silence.
Lifting her head and smiling softly. "Of course I'm not mad." She stepped towards him and nudged him with her shoulder, and looked into his eyes. "Everyone has their right to privacy. It's okay." She rubbed her head against his neck for a second, and then stepped away, not wanting to make him feel any other awkwardness.

Raja felt a bit better knowing that his new friend wasn't mad at him. He was truly concerned about her feeling, especially for him, and he wanted to be open and honest with her, right now just wasn't the time. As the mare got close and nuzzled him a bit, Raja let out a huge sigh of relief. He stood for a moment, a bit disappointed that the gesture was short lived. "Thanks!" he said.

She watched him physically relax a bit and smiled. "So, are there any other areas of conversation I should avoid?" she teased. "I can be sort of nosy sometimes." She admitted, chuckling a bit and leaned down to take another bite of berries.

Raja giggled at the mare's "nosey" comment. "Not that I can think of, but Isurely let you know if anything comes up." he replied, giving her a bit of a nudge, hoping to knock her slightly of guard, and grab the mouthful of berries she was aiming for. ((I think we agreed this one was done.... Any ideas on what the next one is??))

"Ah!" she exclaimed as he stole her berries. "You stole my berries today after all." She leaned back against him in the same manner.
"You're a dirty rascal Raja. Yes, you are, and I think this is the start of a beautiful relationship." She grinned and nudged him with her hoof.
The two carried on for the rest of the day, laughing, making jokes and enjoying the company of the other. As the sun set, they found themselves wondering what would happen at the end of the day. Would the other wish them to leave? Would it be the end of the day, or the end of a beautiful dream that neither wanted to wake up from. [Fin] ((I figure we can either fast forward to another day, or play onto that night. Whichever is fine.))
