******** this thing. "I doubt it came from the labs." The labs should have been secure, and even so, the life trainees should- Oh.
Oh ******** this came from the labs I am going to ******** kill Robert." He was the only life trainee at his level. God those poor trainees.
"I don't think it's like the house incident, this is something else, that time it was a weapon and a abomination, this is just- AUGH ********." Another knock back, and Marcus groaned getting back up. The ******** was going on and why did he want to puke? "This fog-" He shook his head, had to focus. "s**t just kill it and evacuate to the labs. This thing is not going to let us just walk out without a beating." Blade dug into the monster's arm and Dis screeched.

How did she keep getting into these messes?! First the killer present, now this -- Dr H was going to be seeing A LOT of her at this rate. The thought made the moon trainee's lips curl into a wry smile, shaking her head a little. More importantly, Robert was going to kill her. Or become unhinged. Unbidden, the memory of his face, tears streaking down his cheeks, flashed before her eyes, seeing him from where she'd been draped in his lap. Her vision had been blurry -- she hadn't been able to see out of her peripheral vision at all, everything dark as if she were walking out of a tunnel -- but his face came back in resounding clarity. The terror in his eyes, translating into an unbalanced panic, made her hesitate, a knot forming in her stomach. It wasn't fair, her doing this to him... but this was the life they'd chosen. He'd have to get used to it -- if she didn't do something, they were all going to die anyway.
A little ways away, Ryan's voice caught her attention, midnight blue eyes flicking in his direction."If there are, we're in deep s**t -- we can't even handle this one. We need help," she replied somberly, her determined expression only growing all the more darker. In front of her, Harrison made another futile effort to approach the creature that was attacking them, taking one of his swords out only to be batted out of the way. She saw it and reacted quickly, bracing herself and grabbing him under the arms as he pressed back against her, holding him close to her body to steady him. The result was immediate -- her FEAR shield crackled once before it dissipated with a hiss of energy, leaving her completely exposed. Marcus, too, had hit the wall hard from the creature's flailing attacks, the intermediate hunter looking like he was feeling it now.
Yeah. They may or may not be in deep s**t.
"We need to find a communications system!" Petra yelled over the resonating sound the creature was projecting, looking between the other moon hunters, "There has to be one for this room -- you!" she pointed at Dakota, "Help me find an emergency radio. If necessary, use your damn cell phone -- if we don't get some more hunters in here now, we'd better kiss our asses goodbye."
Reluctant to let go of Harrison, the pale-haired girl grabbed his hand, pressing it against a nearby table to steady him before gingerly letting him go, stumbling dizzily towards the wall. She felt the monster's arms lash out again, and she swung her mace, not sure if she hit anything. There just weren't enough of them -- at this rate, they were going to lose the whole dorm quadrant. There had to be a radio for emergencies. Focusing hard, she reached down to grab Marcus' shoulder, half to steady herself, half to get his attention.
"Marcus, are you alright?" He was right, they needed to evac. "I don't know if we can kill it..."Zoobey Request to find a radio/use cell phones to attempt to summon other hunters! : 0/40 Damage: 0

Jerry still had his weapon summoned and on his shoulder as he came leaping into the dorm hall, guitar case in hand. He just had to make a break fr his room, tuck it away to safety and then rush back out to see if there were anymore-
He skidded to a stop and almost fell forward when both heavy loads gave him a shove of inertia. "Oh, goodness!" He squeaked, nearly dropping the instrument and instead quickly against the hallway wall. Up ahead at the commons... there was more than just a few Moon-coats. "Er! Everyone please! You might want to duck!"
That was all the warning that was given before the cannon on the skinny, scarred man erupted in a green resonating burst of sound that ripped it's way down the hallway, thankfully over the heads of the retreating Moons and into the hairy beast beyond. The force sent Jerry staggering backward, his ears ringing anew.

Bix skidded in behind Jerry and lined up a shot just as Jerry fired his bazooka. As the bespectacled hunter staggered backwards he smacked right into Bix's chest and his arrow, while still hitting the yeti, was not his usual quick volley. Of course then the yeti hit Jerry who again hit Bix.
"We're here to help!" He fumbled with the words just as much as he was fumbling with the man leaning awkwardly on his chest until they both got their footing.
It was like having two out of three stooges come to save you.

There was a shout to get down.
Harrison grabbed his sword from off the table, then hit the ground. There was an explosive bark from the other side of the room, and for a brief second, the fog parted.
"Jerry!" Harrison called, grinning from the floor. ...And he brought the Beta guy, too. He stumbled to his feet, retrieving his other sword. "...You okay?" He asked Petra and Marcus. "Guess we're killing him after all. Sorry. I just- wanted to make sure...and maybe it even still isn't his fault, but..."
He set his shoulders, storming forward.
"Just thought I'd ask," he grumbled, swinging the swords together like a pair of cymbals. They barely clipped the yeti, and it earned Harrison another knock backwards, but B0nez was pulsing a hot, neon yellow.

No sooner had she spoken before there was a soft crash and a voice from the hallway, and across the room Harrison's exclamation of 'Jerry' caught her attention. From where she stood by the wall, still half leaning on Marcus, Petra whipped around towards the source, hearing his warning too late before the blast of the bazooka filled the room, bits of wood and concrete exploding as it smashed into the monster. The shockwave by itself pitched her backward a little, and the moon trainee grabbed for the wall, steadying herself shakily. The voice was less now, perhaps because she was distracted by the sudden shouts and the entrance of the two moon hunters, allowing her enough presence of mind to take a few unsteady steps forward.
"We owe you one," she replied to Bix, looking between both he and Jerry with a look of gratitude. She'd be sure to thank them later, when everything was over. For now, she looked back on the fight, watching the two sun hunters attack and keeping out of the way. Harrison's voice drew her attention, and she waved his apology off -- she in no way blamed him for his reaction. It said a lot about his personality. And a lot about hers, that she just wanted the creature dead.
"Fine -- FEAR shield's been depleted though, I'd better stay back," she replied, looking frustrated by that fact.

And here came the third stooge rescuer of the Moon division - Tedan!! Having been chasing after Jerry and Bix with Ardavan resting on his shoulder the dark-haired trainee came charging into the dorm right behind them.
"Outta the way!" he yelled as he continued running straight down the hall at the Yeti, axe already raised to swing at it. He was ready for it to swing at him somehow with those huge arms like "theirs" had, but he wasn't ready for it to kick at him when he got close. And thanks to that, most of his own attack was ruined as he got pretty much booted into a wall. Dammit, so much for the heroic rescue.

"Who's--" He paused and shook his head. "--never mind..." He was sure that if there was indeed someone responsible for this mess, they would know who to hunt down afterwards. That aside, he didn't like the sound of the description they had given about this creature or the mist and voices they were hearing. The fact that they had fought something similar before, did little to boost his confidence. Though maybe that was because they didn't seem at all confident about it themselves.
He cursed again when Petra and the others took more hits. If only his weapon was charged, he could at least try and heal people, or do something--anything that could help, because attacking this creature was getting him nowhere.
"Anyone know if there are any bandag---" His sentence was cut off as they were all instructed to duck. Not wanting to find out the hard way for what would happen if the order wasn't followed, Ryan ducked low to the floor and watched, stunned, as Jerry and Bix entered the room, soon followed by Tedan.
:Nice! Looks like the reinforcements arrived!: Locke chirped, impressed at their attacks on the large beast. Ryan on the other hand, was simply glad he had ducked in time.
Once the way was clear again, he too moved in to attack. Though this time, he brought his fist up under the creatures chin in a punch, strong enough that it would rattle teeth.

(Oh marcus ******** a duck, He wanted to scream as the slash missed, FEAR charge wasted on nothing. He didn't get the chance, as one of the blury arms knocked him back and this time- this time he felt pain. Dis was yelling as him to get to safety barrier was down, weapon was to tired to help. Petra looked to be in the same state. "******** hell." He coughed. Jerry and his merry band had arrived, but the damage had been done. They were severely beaten and in need of a healing. "Thanks." Groaning, he leaned against a wall while they beat the monster down. "Petra, fall back. We're no good like this." A glance to Ryan, if he had enough charge he should be able to heal.
"God damn these things."

Four stooges, actually. Two of the usual, two new ones. The thing looked just like the one that had crashed the Sun trainees' party; it hit just as hard, and hitting it felt about the same - which was to say, satisfying.
Once he'd made sure all his body parts were still attached, Jordan took a look around. "Everyone okay? Or close?"

"BAHA! BAHAHA!" The bazooka had been swapped for the guitar even before the ashes had settled, and there was an ominous strum...
"There are demons in the shadows
Who creep and kill and fright-
We'll bring those monsters to the gallows
but they will put up a big fight....!"
"WATCHOUT! Here we come!
WATCHOUT! Here comes the Sun!"
And then Jerry beamed at his fellow suns as though expecting them to sing along.

"Mostly," Harrison said, "Petra's uh..."
He recognized the Sun Hunter who got in the final blow. Definitely recognized him, and in the same moment realized he had no idea what his name was.
Harrison busied himself with fastening B0nez to his sash.
"Petra's shield is down, and we're all a little beat up, but no casualties." He finally looked towards Jerry skeptically. "...Did you just make that up?"

"Petra's hurt? ... Uh." He'd never actually gotten the blond man's name. Well.
The yeti was gone, anyway. Jordan let Ferros return to ring form, and for lack of anything else to do with his hands, stuck them in his pockets. "No casualties is good," he said, and looked over to Jerry, the corner of his mouth quirking in a faint smile. "Yeah, I'm guessing he did."

Hell, half of them were bordering near dead weren't they? This was not good. Not in the slightest. "Jerry, Bix, we're close to getting out asses handed to us, if one of those things shows up again, we're more than royally ********." He winced, wondering if his idea might work. Or if it was even possible. "Double team it to the Life labs and get ourselves patched up there. How does that sound to you and your guys?" To the other he smiled. "Thanks for showing up. At least we seem to work better than the division heads."
