“Really they glow?” May had never even imagined such a thing. She wondered what glowing flowers would look like in the day compared to at night. Maybe she had seen some glowing flowers and not even know it. That thought made her a bit sad. She would have loved to see some glowing flowers and known them for what they were not matter what time of day it was. “Wasn’t it too hot growing up?”

"Yeah they do but only at night. During the day they are closed up and look like they are just budding but at night they open up and glow."Alexa said with a hint of awe in her voice as she remembered them. "Well kinda. It was more humid than anything and there were rivers so if one did get to hot you could just go take swim."

“Oh. What do the glowing flowers smell like?” In her mind she could just see a pale bud opening up and glowing in the twilight hours. From the sound of what Alex was describing May wanted to see them more than ever. Still she hoped that there were rivers near any such flowers since May didn’t like the idea of sweating to death in the heat. “It’s good you could always go swimming. I don’t think I would like the humidity.”

"Hmm what they smell like.....the best way I can describe it is it smells like the night but not. There is this wowing affect to them," She said with a look of concentration on her face. She listened and heard a splash to the left so she directed him in that direction. "Your probably right about not liking it but for a fox born and raised in it it wouldn't affect you. Just like I would probably find your home to cold but for you it's just fine because it is the normal for you."

Now May knew she wanted to see those glowing flowers. After all if they were so hard to describe they must be amazing to behold. Following Alex without thought May giggled a bit. “I suppose your right. When I first left home I was amazed at the difference simply coming down the mountain made. It was so much warmer at the bottom. I think one day I’ll experience every temperature there is. The tribe I just recently joined is one that travels a lot. So I suppose I should get used to the heat.”

Alexandra turned left following the sound of a creak. She knew the water was clean and the other vixen could get cleaned. "Your in a tribe you say? Interesting. What one? Yeah if your gonna be down here you will eventually become acclimatized."

How was being in a tribe interesting? Well may supposed it must be since meeting new foxes was always fun. “I recently joined the gypsy tribe. They travel a lot so I hope I’ll be able to see many interesting things.” May gave Alex a huge smile. “I might even get to see those flowers you mentioned before.”

"That is a high possibility depending on how close they like to get to other tribe lands." Alex said thinking about it. "So how did you come to find and join the gypsy tribe?" she asked as she sat down but the edge of the creak.

“Well I had wanted to see the world and I met a strange fox who finally convinced me to leave home and really travel. Before leaving I talked with my mother and she told me about a tribe she told me about them. Apparently had she not met my father she would have joined them. I stumbled across them after a time of searching for them. ”

"Joining a travailing tribe I believe is the best way to see the world. So this is a great way to accomplish your goal." Alexandra said while stepping into the water than turned and waited for May to join her. "Don't you think it is a little funny that your mother was going to join but than found your father? Than here after some years and having you, you join up with the same tribe."

May nodded. She liked to think so, it was one of the reasons the tribe fascinated her so much in the first place. Stepping into the cool water May shivered a bit but kept going in to wash off. “I suppose it is a bit strange, but in a world so full of wonders and modieties it doesn’t really surprise me.” May smiled. “I think my mother was more shocked when I first asked about such a tribe. Still she was nice enough to support me no matter what.”

"That maybe true but if you don't take some of them as surprises don't you lose some of the wonder in life than doesn't that make life dull?" Alexandra asked as she soaked her paw in the water and helped scrub the other vixens back.

“How could something loose it’s amazingness just because it isn’t as a large a surprise as others think it is? It doesn’t change the thing nor the feeling you get looking at it all.” May laid lower in the water and arched her back so that Alex could more easily reach her back. “All things in this life are work looking at with wonder.”

Alexandra lightly used her claws lightly to dig some of the muck out from under the layers of fur that way the water could wash it away easier. "I never said things in the world weren't a wonder. I said that it's better to have some of the wonders as a surprise. It gives it more Umph."

“Oh I see. I think your right Alex.” The more she thought about the more sense it made. She supposed that it was a small enough difference in view so the simply overlooked it. She stretched out under Alex’s touch feeling the muck slide off her. “Thank you.”
