2. Hunters usually arrive late to the scenes for something like that, because they are located in a specific "hotspot" area, where there are influxes of Fear. Think of it kind of like how Supernatural is set up or FMA or something, where there is one central location (the island), but also dispatch teams/missions who go out to a certain area to investigate for a longer period of time. For something like disappearing teens, the kids would probably have been missing for a while, it reported in the news, before the Hunter team got in and got rid of the issue. Basically, they would not know of something so sudden like that IMMEDIATELY. Going on a mission for example, to eradicate a large source of Fear that was plaguing a small town or causing "missing people" etc etc, is totally viable though. Hunters on outposts indeed do see more dangerous action! Their entire outpost is consistently an in-and-out war zone where they could be attacked at any point in time! Runic weapons in general have functions related to their shape, so if you want a runic barrier weapon, it will probably look like a barrier dagger, or similar to one, otherwise it'll just confuse all the runic hunters. If you want a customized runic weapon, you can justify it in your hunter signups.

Okay sorry I need to clarify XD;; I was thinking of using the scenario as part of her backstory. Where she and some friends wandered into an area like that. And she could sense/see the Halloween-ers more clearly than her friends and that's why when she was approached to be a candidate she said yes etc etc

Questions questions questionssss <3
were the hunters back then still recruited in the same way? IE: they saw "shadows" of some type, a hunter came and said "HEY UR SPECIAL," and they joined? i know in the guide thingy it said that they're recruited for their ability to sense/see FEAR, but is the ... process still the same i guess? (since theres no weapon initiation ceremony...)
for runic weapons, are we allowed to make up our own? like how blade mentioned the staff thing, or how nkiruka has a sub-machine gun? if so, how crazy should this get? obviously no like ... nukes or anything, but are we talking small things like little shields and smoke bombs, or legit weapons like guns and swords? edit: oh! and what mechanics exactly would we use for said imaginary weapons?
how much should we allude to the characters' appearance? i know in the island event there were no appearance allusions, but does it matter for this event?
i think thats all ... TY ZOOBER <3333

IE: they saw "shadows" of some type, a hunter came and said "HEY UR SPECIAL," and they joined? --> Yes, they were recruited because they saw shadows, and they still have to go through a candidate process, except this one did NOT involve golems, and death was well... more permanent in it. Meaning: pretty much you had to survive the candidate elimination first before going to the next round, they just don't want incapable/ unstable Hunters. for runic weapons, are we allowed to make up our own? like how blade mentioned the staff thing, or how nkiruka has a sub-machine gun? if so, how crazy should this get? obviously no like ... nukes or anything, but are we talking small things like little shields and smoke bombs, or legit weapons like guns and swords? --> Yes, runic weapons, please keep them SIMPLE, and as CLOSE to the existing ones as possible. Ruka is a division leader (think of them like generals in a war), so everyone can't get submachine guns now can they D:< how much should we allude to the characters' appearance? i know in the island event there were no appearance allusions, but does it matter for this event? --> You can totally make up a full appearance complete with battle scars/ whatever you want. Just try to avoid the blind/mute/ etc route. They do still need to be fighting fit to be in this fight.

would it be possible for a runic moon hunter to possibly have a runic device.. such as a james bond'esque like digital watch thingie? Where it serves 2 purposes?
like... say if her role was a healer with the moon division...but since she had recently moved into defensive training from just healing... like.. her device could project a small forcefield that is big enough to cover her and maybe one other person? and that lasts a certain amount of time?
and same device would allow her to give her alerts when a mission crewmate has taken serious damage allowing her to find them in the battlefield for emergency healing?]
or would the device be ok but have to pick just one way it works? or would that not be a runic device but just a device.. and still need a runic weapon with her in case of altercations.

First, please read about runic weapons here! Runic weapons are simple attack-based weapons. They must be shaped like a weapon. A runic weapon is simply that, a weapon, that serves a purpose. It is not a spy tool, or a hidden pocket or something, they are simply fashioned for a single purpose only. They CANNOT be altered for the sake of this rp. You can choose a runic weapon for example, such as: - Runic bandages for healing - A Runic dagger for a barrier attack If you are looking for putting your character in the healing/defensive division. Runic weapons only have the effects as listed in that thread (see the list of beginner ones for an idea of each effect), they CANNOT do anything other than those types of effects, even if their appearance may be slightly different from Hunter to Hunter. The keyword for Runic Weapons is mass produced.

For a backstory on the application, can we say/make up a non-detailed/mention a backstory where hunter switched for "x" division to "y" division? Since it's viable that hunters switched divisions? Just making sure ;a;~

Eight Can our disposables name their weapons kind of like how someone will name their gun or their car..or their computer? Or just about their anything... Weapons are the names of Halloweeners! So if you can imagine a Halloween person called that, then pretty much you can name their weapon like that. Weapons are creatures too!
