Good. He went into the room. Though, Deryk soon noted that Jude now appeared to be on the brink of fleeing. Uh oh. He couldn't let that happen. And let someone else deal with his bizarre ... state? No way.
"Uh.. Oh look a seashell!" he exclaimed while pointing behind Jude. He then quickly shut the door and ran down the hall to grab a chair or something so he could try to barricade him in for the meantime.

"What?! Where?" Jude turned to look and then the door slammed shut and well ... Working the doorknob in a sudden state of panic isn't going well as it wiggled and jiggled about in his grasp as if he couldn't get a good hold on it, "LIAR I SAW NO SEA SHELLS."

The chair actually wasn't too far away. Deryk grabbed onto the piece of furniture and ran back to set it up against the doorknob to hopefully keep it from opening.
"It's there! Under the bed! Just keep looking! Yes. Not a liar!" he called while making sure the chair was secure.

The door suddenly felt very firm as he pushed at it trying to turn the knob so it would open and then he slammed a fist into the door, "HOW CAN YOU SEE ALL THE WAY UNDER THERE...ARE YOU A WIZARD?"

Deryk might have let out a small shriek when he heard the loud thud from the other side of the door.
"Y-Yes! I am a wizard! I assure you. There are seashells down there!"
Maybe he should just run right now.

Jude made nothing of the shriek at the moment and pounded the door a bit more and then stopped and went to go look for the sea shells now to see if they were really there or not. Now was probably the best time to run away.

Deryk stared at the door a little bit in fear. This was like a horror film right now. And thus, when the pounding stopped, he fled.

Jude searched and searched and even crawled onto his bed and peered upside down under the bed where he fell asleep in a very awkward position at least until he half-woke up and moved to cuddle his pillows more to be more comfortable.
