The man finished writing the basic description of the western side of town; a small sketch of the tree line of the forest and the main road sat on the page next to the short description. He went over what he had just written and, after thinking for a second, wrote a quick note at the bottom. "made it through the forest." He next wrote something at the top of the page with the sketch he drew. "Western edge of...." Neige couldn't finish the title. He had only emerged from the forest a few minutes before trying to translate his other book and, as such, didn't know the name of the town.
"Probably a stupid question, but, do you know the name of this town?" "I know only what you know." "Yeah, i figured as much. "
Neige stood up and began walking along the main path towards the entrance gate. There was likely a sign post at the entrance gate with the name of the town. He took a glance behind him and noticed one of the people who were at the edge of the forest had begun running towards the gate entrance as well. At his current speed, it wouldn't be long before she passed him up.
"I guess i could ask her..."
He stopped and waved his hand while holding his journal and pen in the other to gain her attention.

Lenox finally shook her head and made up her mind. She would have to confront someone eventually about where she was. She had never been one to shy away so she decided to jump in with both feet. Pushing and shoving her way through the brambles and dense thicket that marked the edge of the road she finally emerged, swearing softly to herself, into the sunlight.
Her somewhat dramatic entrance was marred by the fact that one of the many chains dangling from her leather jacket was hopelessly tangled in a bush. "Bugger." she said for the umpteenth time and yanked the chain free before heading for the inebriated man she'd seen earlier. He seemed the less likely to ask questions about her unorthodox appearance, if only because he himself seemed a little bizarre after all. She strode up to him confidently and tapped his shoulder. "Right." She said her accent tainting the word, "What's this town then, mate?" she asked flashing a slight smile.
