"Sounds like a dream to me." Kessling smiled. 'Oh to be warm and dry! Lets go!" Kessling was excited for the first time in so long. A new place, with actual friends.. Soon Serenity's coat would stop hurting her eyes. "Do you have a mate Serenity?"
(Kessling is actually a vampire...cept aki forgot her fangs XD)

Dea led the way through the forest, her mind trying to remember where the place was her husband spoke of. This was one of those times she wished she could get in contact with her, but she would just have to do her best to find it on her own. She smiled softly as she saw how happy Kessling seemed to be and Serenity seemed to be happy she had a new friend.
"Yes, I do have a mate, his name is Txopu. He is the Azrein of one of Dea's friends and he is very noble. I is very protective of me and he wants to do all he can for our kind. I suppose he is kind of like Dea's husband,"Serenity replied.

"He sounds great too, you guys are lucky to have those you can count on, I have been self reliant and bitter for a long long time. It is nice to have a change of heart once in a while you know, and see somewhere new."

Dea got to the edge of the forest and saw what looked like a very nice village.
"Girls, I think we found the place my husband was talking about. Let's head for one of the buildings and see if we can get some help,"Dea suggested, trying to figure out which building they should try.
"Well, hopefully you will not have to be alone anymore, Kessling. I do hope that Ed will be the chosen you have been looking for and that you will finally have a family to rely on,"Serenity smiled.

"Me either Dea, I can't wait to meet your mate, he must be special to earn your love." Kessling followed after Dea happily. Her skin twitched a bit at the blatent human settlement. She was a bit edgy but the other azrein here seemed happy and called out greetings to the newcomers which she answered quietly.

Dea walked towards one of the buildings and knocked politely at the door. She waited there and it only took a minute for a woman to come to the door. Dea explained that she needed a place to stay for the night and told the woman she was friends with the king, also mentioning who she was married to. The woman smiled as she directed her to the stables and Dea smiled warmly.
"Alright, let's get over there,"Dea told the two Azrein, before walking over to the stables.

Kessling poked her dark nose into the stable building. "It smells like straw in there, I missed straw, closest thing to straw in the forest was moss. And that was always wet." Kessling made a disgusted face.
Stables were nice but they still had an underlying gloom about them, being a stark reminder of her past.

Dea could see Kessling's hesitation and she patted her head gently.
"Dea dear, are you planning on getting a room in the nearby inn?"Serenity asked. Dea shook her head to her Azrein, she wasn't planning on going far from the pair. She would if they were home, but this was not home and Kessling only really trusted the two of them at the moment.
"No, I plan on sleeping out here with the two of you. I don't want Kess exposed to too much at once, so it is best if I stay nearby,"Dea replied.
"I thought you might, you are so predictable,"Serenity teased.
