Appearance description: Noctis' slightly angular face is framed by hectic, dark hair. The color of his hair depends on the surrounding light. At some times, his hair appears to be a blue-ish gray, or black. His hair can be defined under the subject of bed hair, but his hair is just naturally unkempt, and yet is also not a public disgrace either. He stands at six feet, and on terms of muscles, he could be described as quite 'small', and 'skinny'.

Personality: Noctis' personality is said to be hard to define, though his complexities can be seen upon first meeting. He has a tendency to drape his truly shy nature beneath a facade of coolness. Often giving others the first impression that he is solemn, somber and unforthcoming. But beneath that reticent fog is an individual who is rather open around those whom he trusts. A testament to statement that he isn't the least bit a silent gloomy guy. Not entirely anyway, for smiling and laughing is still a rare occurrence.

Bio: Noctis grew up without parents, theoretically speaking. His mother died in her sleep to the hands of a sleeping disorder called Apnea. This was when he was around the age of seven. After his mother died, it was like his father did too, and Noctis grew up with a loss of affection. He started immersing himself in his sketching, and would often sit in a corner and talk to no one visible. He would talk not in a motivational manner, or a contemplative manner, but it would sound as if he were actually holding a conversation. His father would often be too scared to interrupt him, and if his father ever mentioned what he had witnessed, Noctis would shrug it off and say that he must have been mistaken, confused by what he had seen. In the midst of insanity, Noctis began drawing morbid sketches of him murdering anyone he held dear to him. To him, the sketches became real and he began to think he had actually killed everyone he held dear. Scared out of his skin, his father did nothing and allowed the madman Noctis drew numerous times to spill on page and become something real; he was twelve. At thirteen, his father took action and sent Noctis away to an asylum. Noctis refused to believe anything was wrong with him, and at the age of fiteen, Noctis was released. He wasn't insane after that to put it quite frankly, but the looks he gave people suggested murderous intentions when he really was just doing any other harmless contemplation. He reacted to sentimental predicaments in odd ways, but it was all part of his disorder symptoms. He has been proven to be no real physical threat to anyone, but his odd aura seems to repel people from him.

Skills and Abilities: He is able to summon weaponry with levels of telekinesis, specifically swords, lances, and spears.

Character Flaws: Despite his cold nature, Noctis is overly sensitive to words, and often gets agitated for no apparent reason. His unpredictable actions are what usually cause people to avoid him all together. And proving as an excuse of why Noctis behaves such as he does, Noctis is somewhat of a sociopath and has mild symptoms of Schizophrenia.

Name: Peregrine Elliott Gray Wellington IV...which is definitely not a fake name.

Species: Warlock

Age: 22

Gender: Male

Appearance description: Gray is tall--around 6'2." His hair is black and reaches just above his shoulders, but is usually scrapped back into a low ponytail to keep it out of his face. Hazel eyes, with a eye patch over his right eye. He has a variety of patches he will wear, all different and all ornately decorated. His clothes are usually colorful and dramatic, bordering on eccentric.

Personality: Smug, secretive and rather pompous, Gray has a very carefully crafted persona that he presents to other people. He is very much a swindler at heart and every move he makes or word he says is generally geared toward manipulating the people around him even if he isn't entirely conscious that he's doing it. He is sly and crafty on a good day or outright devious and thieving on a bad day. That isn't to say he has no good qualities. He's not afraid of hard work or getting his hands dirty, and is more than capable of taking care of himself. He isn't entirely devoid of compassion and is capable of developing normal friendships and relationships when he's around long enough. Around those he considers friends, he drops the facade and is more easy going but he's still not above scamming them out of cash or items he wants.

As a teacher, he is snarky and teasing, and very laid back. He actually does like to teach, but is lax about homework, attendance and grading. He generally behaves in a very gentlemanly, gallant way toward ladies, but rarely comes across as sincere.

Bio: Gray was born "Elliott Welles" and grew up in a small village with a mostly Human population. He learned to use magic from his parents, but isn't an especially powerful wizard. He struggled with his studies, and meeting his parents' expectations and eventually left home because he was tired of disappointing his father. For a while, he lived out of a caravan wagon, eeking out a rather rustic sort of life as a small time, traveling party magician. Many of his tricks were simply the usual smoke and mirrors, but he was able to use his natural skills to make his shows a flashy enough to earn more money that he deserved.

He also became an expert at gambling and cheating people out of their money via cheap games (at which, he used his magic to cheat) of chance.

How he became a teacher at Rosentale is anyone's guess but he's certainly not qualified to do it. He may have just weaseled his way in on the basis of his knowledge, but it's very likely the only reason he took on a respectable job like teaching is because he's hiding out from someone who's after him. There are a great many people who dislike him.

Skills and Abilities: Gray knows a wide variety of 'party trick' spells. Most of them are fairly useless or trivial. However, over the years he honed his skills in alchemic sciences, and his particular specialty lies in transmuting objects from one state to another by using chemical components and magic to bend the laws of physics. He is also rather adept at using alchemy to create a variety of golemn-like creatures. But like all alchemy, he needs the proper components and time to make his creations successful.

Flaws: Gray is a manipulative liar. It's not that he's cruel, or mean, or that he tells overt lies about everything. He simply has a sly, manipulative personality and is something of a "trickster" at heart. While he isn't really much for pranks and the like, he does seem to get pleasure out of leading people astray and concealing the truth from them in subtle ways.

Gray is also materialistic, and focused on money. He's a cheapskate, and tends to hoard things of value, and hates sharing. He can be generous but usually expects people to pay him back in some way. He's fairly selfish and doesn't care about many things besides himself and his belongings.

Extra Information: The story behind the loss of his eye, is that he made a deal with an undine, and gave her his eye as payment. He was supposed to give her both, but managed to swindle her out of the other one. The undine (and many of her kin) have been after him ever since, to take back the eye he owes her. Because of this Peregrine is very uncomfortable around any body of water that might house water spirits, and generally is uncomfortable around water creatures of any kind.

He has a real classroom. Somewhere. He tends to forget where it is and likes to hold class in other locations. For this reason, he recommends his students to carry their basic supplies with them, rather than leaving them in class room.

He always introduces himself by his full name. He basically just likes how stupidly pretentious it sounds.
