In all honesty, I never heard the game. The song sounds a little western. Well, so does the game title. ^^; This song is relaxing and yet it moves to sounding like music for exploring. (Mainly because of the use of the guitar.) In the beginning of the song it reminds me of a person staring at the sea, then it move to traveling type music. I don't know when this song was used during the game, but this sounds perfect for the game trailer.
I'd rate this hmm...8/10.
I must say, if you don't know this song, you have no childhood. I love the nostalgia of this song~! Bicycle theme from Pokemon (Red, Blue)

Yeah. Wild ARMS: 2nd Ignition is a wild west-themed game. But with some sci-fi in there. It's fun. ^^ oh god this music this is actually one of the few bicycle themes I like. It kinda sounds like calliope music. XD There's not much to say beyond aaaah it's so cute. 8.5/10 Okay, MORE POKEMON MUSIC THEN Route 10 Theme, Pokemon Black and White

I know this theme, I only ran across it a hundred times lol.
I kinda enjoy it but I also never pay that much attention to the route specific themes, mostly because they are just "there" and really it's not like it's a big deal or anything. The only themes I really pay attention to from pokemon are well, the legendary themes that will stay with you forever.
While I do remember it, it took a bit of co-orsing the memory (2:21 of it, the length of the tune) and it it hardly seems to stick around. 6/10 from me I'm afraid.
So now my theme, is going to be from a giant here in North America, and the company who single handedly ruled the P2P MMO World since they launched one of their flagships. And the theme of this game took 7 years to come out, but it was 7 years that any true fan would say was worth the way.
I speak of course, of Blizzard Entertainment and Starcraft 2.Fire and Fury SC2

You sure like you choral works, don't you? cool Nothing wrong with that, in fact, as seen in my rating of "Zero", I quite adore music choral attributes with it! For this piece, I must say, although I have never played Starcraft, I was simply blown away of how beautiful this composition sounded. The brass brought honour and strength to the piece, making it seem like an American Army commercial, but at the same time, the choral component added a sense of beauty to the piece. With two polar attributes coming together- strength and glorious warfare, yet beauty, one may think that it will sound contradictory, but it worked quite beautiful. This gets a rare 9.5/10 from me, only thing is it ended arbitrarily. Without a resolution to such a beautiful piece, I can't help but feel like I didn't hear the whole deal. I know I'm three days late on this, but better now than wait until next year: Silesia Castle Town from Fire Emblem Seisen no Keifu by Yuka Tsujiyoko Happy seasons, FEF! Hope you're enjoying (or enjoyed D; ) the holidays!

I can't say that I really enjoyed it all that much, even if it were at christmas it just doesn't stick out to me that well.
I mean, yeah it's ok, but it's not something I would find myself listening to for long on a loop because eventually it would get on my nerves.
6/10 for me again.
But continuing with FE Themes, the one that made you most wary of an opponent on the battlefield for 9 and his "surprise" living for 10, none other than, The Black Knight.
The Black Knight Lives
On a side note, has anybody got a good black knight cosplay avi off gaia? I don't think that it's entirely possible, I just want to see if it is. I couldn't manage to do it off Tektek, but then again, maybe I'm looking for the wrong items.

Low rating for Route 10 makes me sad. .n. Then again I'm probably one of the only people to spaz out about Black and White's music quite so hard, soIt's difficult to say anything about this track that hasn't already been said. The sweeping brass and drums emphasize power and drama without resorting to DUN-DUN-DUNNNNN, additional strings add a level of class that helps to tie it together. Very powerful, very mood-setting, very awe-inspiring. 9/10. Unfortunately, this is a Japan-only track, but it's still one of my favorite battle tracks from The World Ends With You. I need to play through the game again and identify which tracks are which a lot better, because it's got some kickass Jpop music in its soundtrack. NOISY NOISE

Hmm... What can I say about this song? The static at the beginning and various parts of the song are an interesting touch. Fast paced, yet not too fast, this song delivers a sense of urgency while you're duking it out with the Noise. It gets a bit too repetitive for my tastes, but it's a battle song and the fights, depending on how you're matched up aren't usually that long anyway.
... Oh, the video lied and gave us a full two or so more minutes than necessary. Bad Youtube.
8/10.

How funny, as I was just posting a song from Ys on another website (The one that is in this post, actually. I thought it would be best). IIRC, this happened with our other Ys run-in on the other thread, where my next song was going to be from Ys, but you beat me to the punch. xD In case you don't believe me, I have proof!I like Ys music, a lot. I find Yuzo Koshiro is a fantastic composer, attractive man (don't lie mad ) and just all round a great guy who composes music. Although I do not know if Koshiro does Origins or not, this was an interesting piece to listen to nonetheless. Although it did have a whole tedious prison feeling to it, the woodwind line made the piece a lot more nice than most generic prison songs. The flute, being my instrument from school, I've naturally come to respect it. I feel it is a good instrument for a prison because it (for me) symbolizes freedom, and in the piece, it is the sole instrument to break away from the tedious beginning. However, that being said, I am not much of a person to find prison music to be very breath taking. For the nice flute line, and the nice strings, I will give a 7.5/10. Marshmallow Kitty Yeah. I don't know much of Dragon Quest, only picked up IV the other day and haven't started it yet because Oops I'm still playing Chrono Trigger.Understandable. And I'm pretty sure you'll find some fodder for this thread in Dragon Quest IV, as it has one of the most varied soundtracks in the series. The many main characters have their own map themes, and in some cases, more than one special theme. Many of which I really like. As for the song at hand, this sounds like something straight out of an anime fight scene. At least, as far as I know, since I don't watch much anime that came out beyond the turn of the century (and isn't a remake of a 60's manga). While it certainly is an exciting theme and has a great percussion line and beat, it doesn't really strike me as something extremely special. Don't get me wrong, it's a good theme, but it's not really descriptive of anything, and it lacks a really powerful punch. It is worth a 7/10, though. Which I feel inclined to remind people, especially in the world of skewed video game rating, is a good score. And I don't do decimal points. Oh were back at Final Fantasy Music are we? Well then! I have just the theme in mind! But first, a rating yes?
It's a very different kind of song that what I was currently in the mood for (and listening to in my media player) but it has a nice I don't know, melodic feel to it. It's soothing in a way and the instruments mix well togeather. Now, while I've not played Chrystal Chronicles I have heard mixed reviews for it. The music doesn't seem terrible by this track alone, and over all my impression is about a 7/10.
Now then, onto what I was actually in the mood to listen to:
The theme that made me love the final battle with Jecht even more so than I was and the theme that I have named on of my personal OC's battle theme:
Overworld And this is the Dissidia remix which I love even more so than the original.

I love the rock back ground as this is suppose to be a very intense battle, but unfortunately the lyrics are done is a way that really make me frown. I don't like them. It really would be better if they weren't there. 6.5/10
The Sun Rises (Remix) From Marvel vs Capcom 3. I like this one a little better than the original from Okami.

And you know what? That is perfectly acceptable for a rating. I'm a metal head, I can listen to Viking Metal and throughouly enjoy it. Not everybody is the same way. The growls often depend on the vocalist. Oh and trust me, that version is signifigantly better in every way shape and form, to another version that is out there. It's the same song, but it's slow and light. It's just terrible.
Now then, onto your song.
I've seen much of MvC3 but I haven't heard much of a sound track. For a fighting game, the sound is certainly above average, then again, that is to be expected, Capcom excells at music in my not so humble opinion.
I really enjoyed this, so I'm going to give it a solid 8/10
Aaaand speaking of Solid I have the perfect theme in mind next!
White Blood Raiden's Theme
The video will tell you which game it's from if you don't already know wink

I know next to nothing about Metal Gear Solid, so I can't as easily comment on atmospherics or any bullshit like that. It is, however, a very soothing, calm theme, at least initially, and builds up to something a bit more bombastic, serious, and fast-paced. It builds up well to this, the instrumentals work together fabulously, and the weird techno bend to the entire thing makes it stand out nicely. Then again, maybe it just blends in with MGS4's entire OST. I don't know. It's a nice theme, nonetheless. 8/10 Theme of the Last Time Travel - Professor Layton and the Unwound Future [Level-5] [warning, top comments have spoilers, lots of them]

Well good thing I am not gonna play the game for sometime...if at all. Anyways onto the song. I am getting that nostalgic feeling from this song, as if you are remembering everything that has gone on from the game or adventure. It also gives me a bit of that sad feeling that you are wanting more. It does feel nice though, and that violin makes me continue listening...I am a bit of a sucker for violins thanks to the Trans Siberian Orchestra so when I hear one that is nice I stick around. 9/10 Bloody Destiny from Persona PSP. I think it is the first game

Ah, Persona. And you even picked the Extended version instead of the original. How typical for it to be a boss battle. If I think about it, a lot of SMT's songs have vocals in them, but I'm too lazy to start naming them off. As for the song itself, because you picked the extended version, it's of course going to have some repetition from that since it's gonna loop. But in reality, it does loop on its own even without the extension. Not much variation between the chorus and the rest of the song. 7.5/10
The Edge of Green from Radiant Historia (created by Atlus), music composed by none other than Yoko Shimomura.
