True Feelings

Cam tells Artemis how he really feels

Cam's life had been flipped about a bit but it was in a good way as far as he was concerned. Timmy had grown into a very good looking teenager....and they were dating.

He was honestly amazed at how well things were working out between the two of them really. Sure he'd had to go out and get new clothes and things for Timmy, but he didn't mind.

Timmy was so utterly sweet and adorable...and Cam enjoyed their time together. The walks they took, the cuddling they did... Cam had fallen for Timmy. Hard.

Timmy was not oblivious to the fact that things were going so well between them. In fact, it seemed the boy strove for that. He had taken Cam to fields and places he had been before he'd come to live with the teenager. He'd shown Cam his favorite part of the woods, and where he thought the best sunset rock was in the world.

He wondered when Cam would tell him if they were working out. His boyfriend, when they had first started dating, had said they would see how things worked. Was it working? Or wasn't it? And if it wasn't, would he get another chance to make it better?

Cam enjoyed Timmy showing him to his favorite places. To take a blanket and a lunch and go and have a picnic in the fields, to explore the woods. To just settle and watch a sunset. He'd dated before...but it'd been more physical. Nothing overly romantic...just sex. Which while good...well he did enjoy conversations and going out together places! So Timmy...well he was pretty damn perfect in his opinion.

Today was no different. Cam had left earlier to get a few things. A 'surprise' he'd said...and when he came home had playfully barred Timmy from the kitchen area and had begun to cook up a storm. And now...well he was setting the table...candles and their chairs close together...there was a dozen roses on the table...

and then Cam of all things changed out of his usual casual clothes...and slapped on a suit he didn't usually wear....and grabbed his guitar and went in search of Timmy.

Timmy was sitting on the couch, reading. He had been barred from the kitchen, and while he was suspicious of Cam's motives--and had playfully informed the older teen of this, (what was he cooking up, a bomb?) he was patient. He looked up when Cam entered the room, smiling brightly at him. "You look nice," he said, admiring the teen's suit. "Is the surprise done?" He wondered what it could be. He was fond of surprises. Or maybe saying he was fond of learning what the surprise was, was more accurate.

The skitty teen slowly stretched, and stood, beaming at the zebstrika.

Cam was watching Timmy reading, and felt a swell of pride at that knowing he'd taught the younger teen to read. A broad smile crossed his lips...and his fingers began to move over the guitar.

"Sit back down for a moment...please."

Cam settled on the coffee table opposite him and let his fingers begin to strum properly, and he sang, looking at Timmy as he did so.

It's not that I can't tell you. It's not that I can't find a way. It's just that I love you. More than words can say. How could I describe. How I come alive with you.
How could I explain. How you stop the rain from falling down

You know just where my heart is. You carry it from day to day. You know what I feel is. More than words can say."

Cam moved to sit on the couch next to Timmy, not missing a beat or a word, staring into the Skitty teen's eyes, a tender smile on his face.

"How could I describe. How I come alive with you.
How could I explain. How you stop the rain from falling down. You know just where my heart is. You carry it from day to day. You know what I feel is, more than words can say...."

His voice and the music trailed off and he set the guitar aside, voice cracking softly as he reached for Timmy's hand while speaking. "I love you Artemis..."

Timmy listened to the song, to Cam's voice, to the very hum of each string as it was strummed, in silence. His smile grew, however, with every word. He took Cam's hand and gave it a squeeze, pulling the older boy closer to him. "Oh, Cam," he muttered, scooting closer to him. "I love you too."

Cam went along with the tugging with ease, and his arms wrapped around Timmy tightly, and held him close, his lips capturing the Skitty's and kissed him deeply, his own heart pounding, pulse racing. He felt so completely sure of himself. He knew everything he wanted in his life was right here in his arms. "My Artemis..." his words were whispered against an ear...which he then kissed and nibbled at softly.

Timmy wasn't surprised at the kiss. He'd been expecting it, after being serenaded in such fashion. He returned the kiss with vigor. Did this mean what he thought it did? Did this mean it had worked out? Cam was truly his now? He hesitated, flashing a look of indignation at the use of his full name. He would have complained, and almost did, opening his mouth to protest when he felt Cam's teeth on his ear. He gave a shiver instead. Mmm. Maybe it wasn't so bad after all.

The hesitation was noticed, and he pressed another gentle kiss to the others lips and then there went his lips against that ear. "My Artemis...my Tim...everyone calls you Timmy...I'm calling you Artemis or Tim...so you associate those names with me...and me alone." possessive much? No...but he did want the other to flutter a bit when he heard the names whispered in his ear.

Or even when Cam would eventually say 'Come on Tim/Artemis' a sort of feeling of jubilant expectation and all.

The shiver was delightful and he nibbled again softly. "Before I decide to hell with the dinner I cooked up and skip straight to ...dessert...we should go eat."

Timmy paused, and nodded his understanding of Cam's use of his name. "Alright," he said with a smile. "I'll have to find a name for you," he said, "a good one."

"I'm sure you'll find a good name for me, you're creative." Cam grinned and held his hands out to Timmy and eased to his feet. "We should eat before dinner gets cold. I made up some fish...and there's pasta...and for dessert we have ice cream...and chocolate syrup." and look at the sudden grin on his face.

"Chocolate syrup?" the skitty asked, grinning. "Alright then. I have just the surprise for you later."

"A surprise for me later?" oh look at the surprise on his face. No one ever gave him surprises. Cam took Timmy's hand and walked with him to the table where the candle light played over the table and he pressed a button soft music playing then. he pulled Timmy's seat out and waited for him to settle.

Timmy allowed Cam to lead him to the table. He was a bit surprised by the candlelit area, and it showed. His eyes widened for a brief moment, and he stared. "All of this is for me?" he asked. But why? He couldn't remember doing something this special for Cam.

"Consider this our first date. I know you're not fond of lots of people, so this is my way of giving you a romantic, fancy dinner minus the people." once Timmy sat Cam leaned forward and pressed a kiss to the others cheek as he pushed his chair in and sat. He poured some sparkling grape juice, Cameron didn't drink...and raised his glass in a toast. "To my love Artemis. I look forward to a long, loving relationship with you."

Grumpy Skitty

The morning after the first time.

Cam stretched a little, being careful not to disturb Timmy too much as he did so, the blankets on his bed more than a little tangled around the two of them. His fingers brushed softly over a bare hip that he could see and he chuckled at his fingers touched something sticky and semi dry and raised his hand up. "Hmm...guess I missed some of that chocolate syrup..." his words were a soft murmur.

He blinked a few times to clear his eyes, and stared at his clock a moment till the numbers came into focus. It wasn't too late. Looked like they'd dozed off during the post-coital snuggling. His fingers continued to slowly trace that bare hip, a content sigh from him.

Timmy shifted slightly, sighing in his sleep. "Nnn..." he muttered, moving towards Cam's touch. It seemed he wasn't ready to get up yet. "Cam, sleepin'," he muttered, wrapping an arm around the older teen. Slowly, the skitty opened an eye and groaned. He pulled a blanket over his head. "Mmm... Tell the sun to shut up and go home," he grumbled.

Cam couldn't help laughing softly at the grumpy Skitty's reaction. He had worn the younger teen out quite a bit after all. "There's no sun yet love. It's still night...ish. Sun'll be up in a few more hours though." his arms shifted and he wrapped them around Timmy, and kissed his bare shoulder. "You're still covered in chocolate in spots. After you sleep more, maybe we should go shower."

"Go back to sleep," he muttered then, burrowing closer to Cam, "Shower later." If the sun would be up in a few hours, he wanted to take advantage of the sleep he could get. Timmy stretched slowly, and stood. "Gonna go get some water," he said. "Want something?"

"Dunno if I can, I feel wide awake." Cam admitted sheepishly. "Alright we can shower later...and together. Get all the chocolate off us both." he did let Timmy shift away though and nodded. "Yeah..some water would be nice." Cam couldn't help but smile seeing the other standing there unclothed a content rumble from him. "Or you..." he couldn't help it.

Timmy shook his head, flashing Cam a playful smile. "You had enough of me," he said. "I'm too tired for anything more." He wandered into the kitchen to fetch two glasses of water. He brought them both to the bedroom, yawning. He offered one to Cam. "Here," he said, before sipping at his own.

"I don't know if I can ever have enough of you. But I'll be nice. Don't want to accidentally break you or something." that would be bad he knew. The water was sipped from before he reached for the shirt he'd pulled off earlier and poured some water onto it, then swiped it at Timmy's sticky thigh. "There we go. Next time I'll be sure to lick it all off."

"I'm not so fragile," Timmy shrugged, moving into his place on his bed. He burrowed under the blankets. *I survived being shocked, didn't I? But no more tonight, I--" he yawned, sinking into his pillows.

"No, you're not fragile but I know how tiring it can be at first." Cam gently straightened the blankets they'd messed up earlier and resettled next to Timmy. "I like having you here in my bed with me." words murmured softly as his hand stroked over the others stomach, just because. "My Artemis."

"Now be quiet," Timmy instructed, moving closer to Cam. "I'm tired, and when I get tired, I get irritable. And if I get irritable, I'll be using more than heal bell on you." He continued to grumble, but those grumbles soon became inaudible as the skitty teen fell asleep.

There was a stifled snicker from Cam, and he merely wrapped his arms tightly around the Skitty teen and held him close and before long he was dozing back off with a last thought of 'Should see if he wants to sleep in here every night...'

Morning Surprises, or Urban’s news

Morning had dawned...perhaps far too early for Cam. Timmy might be a semi grumpy...and possibly violent morning person, but Cam tended to be an early riser. Usually. Today not so much. He was content in the bed with Timmy, but the sun was glaring on him through a crack in the curtains and he groaned, smushing his pillow over his face. No, bed was good...

Timmy was altogether grouchy, the moment he awoke. He scowled at no one in particular, instead focusing on the mirror on Cam's door. "Stupid sun," he grumbled. "I hate it." He enjoyed being out in the sun--after noon, usually. He leaned his head against Cam. "Showertime?" he mumbled.

Grumpy Timmy's...they were adorable. Cam pulled the pillow off his face and threw it towards the curtain blocking the light amazingly. "I'll have to fix that so it doesn't do that anymore." he grumbled softly. He'd woken up several more times in the night, thinking he was dreaming Timmy being there. "Shower sounds good....and I was thinking as we were going back to bed after our water...well...did you want to maybe...move your things in here with mine...and you know...this be our room?" why yes, nervous about asking, despite everything.

Timmy wasn't sure he wanted to move. He layed back onto his pillow, pulling Cam down next to him. "Let's not move until the clock strikes twelve," he teased, moving closer to the older teen. "Good morning, Cam," he whispered into the other boy's ear, placing a kiss on his cheek. "I love you." He hesitated, then, at Cam's question. "Do you think we're ready for that?" he asked, blinking at him.

Cam reached for the clock to turn it towards him and read that it was barely seven. Hmm...five more hours in bed with Timmy...he could manage that he thought. His arms curled around the Skitty creeping closer and pulled him close a smile playing over his lips at the other whispering into his ear. "I love you too Timmy." the question though...that was a hard one to answer. He knew its what he wanted...but was it what was best? "I'm going to be honest....I don't know. It's what I want...but maybe it's not the best yet. I don't want to rush too much and mess things up...and well your room is right across from mine..." it was close... and who knew how often they'd sleep apart even if they stayed living in separate rooms, right?

"We could try it," Timmy suggested, still in soft tones. "I could sleep in here for the next week, and after we could decide if we're ready for moving in together or not." He nuzzled the boy's cheek with his nose, scooting closer still. "I like sleeping in here with you," he confided. He loved spending time with Cam anytime--but waking up to find Cam next to him was the best feeling in the world.

Cam loved that Timmy wasn't the same skittish Skitty he'd found in his backyard...that with him he was so...adorably sweet. His arms circled and he tugged Timmy so the other was sprawled on top of him and he grinned up at the other letting his hands slowly caress his back. "Better...nice and close...and we can try it out for a week and see how that works. I like having you here. Waking up next to you." he leaned up and kissed Timmy softly, slowly, fingers still tracing softly over his back. "My sexy Skitty." words murmured softly.

The skittish skitty Cam had found in his backyard had learned to open up to those he trusted. Specifically, he had learned to open up to Cam. "This is perfect," he agreed, as he was tugged so he was straddling the older teen. He smiled down at Cam, returning each kiss with a renewed vigor. He placed a hand on Cam's cheek. "I love you," he said again.

Cam leaned into that hand on his cheek and turned his head to brush his lips over the others palm. "I love you too, more than anything." his hands were moving, touching every where they could on Timmy. Over legs and hips, up his sides and across his chest and stomach, down his arms. Cam had the most content look ever on his face. Heshifted a little, pulling Timmy closer and rolling a little, playfully pinning the younger teen to the bed and kissing him deeply when he heard what sounded like a thud coming from the front of his house...heavy steps made Cam go stiff and he turned towards the door in time to see it flying open, one agitated looking Aggron standing there...at least he'd had the courtesy to take off his shoes!

"Cam I've been trying to reach you for days. Sol and I...well we've got a son now." "You...wait...what? How? And...do you mind getting out of the bedroom?" Urban blinked at them, seeing Timmy pinned to the bed by Cam. "What're you two up to?" "Nothing now."

Timmy was oblivious to Cam's upset, and instead moved his arm in order to wave at Sol and the minun in his arms. "A son?" he seemed interested. "Cam, look! He's cute."
"Oooh," Tristan pointed towards Cam, giggling. "Look, Papa. They're being icky! I'll tell Momma!" Momma should know when people were being icky, shouldn't she? It was only proper to tell her, Tris was sure of it.

Cam sat up, making sure to keep himself and Timmy as covered as could be, and looked to the little one Urban was holding. "He is cute I admit." well he was.

Urban couldn't help laughing. "No, you don't need to tell her. It's not her business what they're doing. Uh...meet you in the living room?" "Give us a bit...we need to wash up some." the chocolate sauce bottle was still on his bedside table...and it made Urban grin. "Sure thing. Take your time...we'll wait."

Timmy wandered to the bathroom after selecting a set of clothes to change into after showering. "A minun, hm?" he said, glancing back at Cam with a grin. "An electric type. I wonder if they made you godfather. You'd have to teach him to control it. You don't want him zapping a future boyfriend." He winked playfully.

Cam followed him in, a pair of pants and a shirt dropped to the counter, and he couldn't help a laugh, his arms curling around Timmy and kissing his neck while playfully smacking his butt. "And funny how after being zapped you grew into the fine man I see before me..." he chuckled and ran the shower then. "Lets not give Urban ideas on that though...but I don't mind helping the boy learn to control himself. Maybe he'll be better than I am at that."

"Maybe your zapping me triggered my growth," Timmy replied, playfully. "Who knows? I might have stayed like that forever, if not for that spark." He put his hand into the shower to see if the temperature was decent, and then glanced towards Cam. "It's freezing," he complained.

"Mmm...maybe it did. And if you had imagine how things would be now...me not really knowing how you really felt and all." Cam blinked and reached his hand in and felt the water and fiddled with it some more. "How's that? Though if it's still too cold, I can always warm you up and help you forget about the cool water..." he grinned playfully. The water felt plenty warm to him now though.

Urban was sitting on Cam's couch with Tris, trying to keep him entertained while the two showered...and who knew what else!

Tristan frowned slightly. "Papa, I'm bored," he complained, climbing onto the teenager's shoulders and attempting to bury his arms in his hair. "Papa, play with me! Let's play I spy. You first. Do you see anything interesting, Papa?"

"I'm sorry you're bored Tris. Lets see..." he reached up to keep him steady and looked around the living room. "I spy with my little eye something green." Cam had a green rock up on a shelf.

Tris tried to spot the green object, looking around the room carefullu, twice over. He frowned, peeking down at Urban from over his head. "I don't see it, Papa," he said. "Is it the grass outside? Or the trees? They're green."

"No Tris its in this room." Urban smiled and pointed across the room. "On the shelf there is a green rock." he chuckled softly, and looked around. "I spy, with my little eye something blue." the only blue not on Tris, was a painting on the wall.

Timmy smirked at Cam, shaking his head as he stepped into the shower. He carefully scrubbed at the chocolate they had missed the night before. It was sticky and had dried some, so there was some difficulty to it. "Maybe we shouldn't have used so much," he said, blinking as he scrubbed at it. "We may have over done it."
Tristan had spotted the painting almost immediately. He pointed to it excitedly. "There it is!" he pointed again. "I found the blue! Go again, Papa!"

"Sorry about that." Cam stepped in and grabbed a washcloth and soaped it up and began to scrub away at the same stubborn spot, before he was very simply scrubbing away at the other in general to make sure it was all off of him. "But you covered in chocolate was delightful." he grinned as he said that.

"Eye spy, with my little eye, something black." Cam had a lot of black in the room, so it could have been almost anything. The couch they were on, the vases, the swords...
The shower had been a quick one...disappointingly but they did have visitors. So it was a quick wash up and get dried and dressed thing. Cam's hand snagged Timmy's as they stepped out to the living room where he could hear his oldest friend playing eye spy.
"So...a son?" Cam looked to Tris as he sat down watching the Minun curiously.

"No fair," Tris complained. "Everything's black, Papa. It could be the vase, the couch, everything." He crossed his arms, pouting. "I spy with my little eye, something Papa colored!" he exclaimed, before pressing his nose to Urban's. "Yay! I win!" He looked up when he heard Cam's voice. "No fair," he complained again. "What kind of color is he?" he pointed at Cam. "Papa, you cheat."

"Something I colored? What did I color?" Urban blinked a moment at Tris, and looked up to see Cam and chuckled. "Cam's sort of purplish isn't he? As for a son...Tris here adopted Solange and I it seems." he have a chuckle and hugged the minun to him. "Huh. Never thought I'd see you with a kid. It's weird, but suits you." "Thanks man. It's certainly different. Sol and I are moving in together now, and bringing this guy with us." "Wow...big step!"

Cam wrapped his arm around Timmy and gave him a warm smile which made Urban grin. "Looking good Timmy...grown up quite a bit since the last time I saw you..." Urban hadn't come around since the night Cam had lost his temper.

"No silly, You're papa colored! Because you're colored like you!" Tris snugged him. He was quite pleased with his cleverness. He had fooled papa! He'd have to tell Momma about that. "Oooh. I spy with my little eye something purplish!" he said, pointing at Cam.

Timmy grinned at Urban. "Really, it's all thanks to you that I did," he said. "I think Cam's attack triggered my growth. I found myself this way the morning after." He winked at him. "We've finally started to use the advice you gave me."

Urban gave a laugh at Tris, and scruffed his hand over the top of the pokemon's head affectionately. "I take it that little eye of yours spies Cameron then."

Though look at him blink a moment, and just grin. "Well hell, glad to hear that advice is coming to some good use....wait...attack? Cam?"

"Err...he came out to the dojo and hugged me and I zapped him with Wild Charge..." Urban winced. "Been there done that...so wait you think him hitting you with that, triggered your growth? Interesting...and now the two of you are....?" "Dating, yes." "Huh. Well congrats on that you two. You look happy." which was damned good.

"Yay!" Timmy exclaimed, beaming at Urban. "Papa wins!" He reached a hand to attempt to pet Urban's head. "Good Papa!" He looked to Timmy, and then to Cameron. The minun hopped down from Urban's lap, hurrying to Cameron. He wrapped his arms around the teenager's legs. "Uncle Cameron!" he exclaimed, beaming. "Yay!"

color=darkblue] Cam gave a laugh at Tris and Urban, they were good together, and it was so weird seeing Urban to calm...and happy. And not swearing. So weird. The minun hugging his legs made him smile and he picked the little one up and brought him to his lap. "And uncle Timmy." he smiled at the Skitty as he said that.

"Uncle Timmy!" Tris repeated, reaching for Timmy. "Yay!" He would have to tell Momma about this. He had gained two uncles in one day! He reached for Urban then. "Papa!"

(Scary) Movie Night

Cam loved watching scary movies. He didn't do it often but once in awhile he got the urge to watch...and so that night he'd done just that. He'd drawn all the blinds and locked up tight. Popcorn had made up, and a blanket set onto the couch for the two of them to cuddle under.

It had been an intense almost two hours and he'd kept a tight arm around Timmy through it, enjoying having the other teen settled close. As the credits rolled he stretched and set the empty popcorn bowl down on the table and set aside the blanket. "Nnnngh...bed time I think yeah?" yes, he was the sort that could sleep immediately after watching the creepiest thing ever, no issues.
Unlike Cam, Timmy had no great love for scary movies. He'd allowed Cam to play it, without saying a word, without once complaining that he was frightened. He had figured it would be like surfing. That it would seem frightening at first, and then would become a pleasurable experience. He'd trembled and clung to Cam throughout the movie, and when the older teen stretched he'd jumped slightly before nodding in agreement. "Bed," he said. He wasn't sure he would be able to sleep after the movie, but if Cam was with him...

Of course Cam had realized he was scared. Had felt him trembling and clinging...but thought it was a normal response to the movie, and not because he was frightened out of his wits. If he'd known, he'd have turned it off for him almost immediately. He noticed Timmy jump and he rubbed his hand gently against the others back. "You sleeping in with me tonight or in your room?"

"Your room," Timmy replied immediately. He wanted to be close to Cam tonight. He wrapped an arm around Cam, still trying to drive off the fear caused by the movie. "I love you," he said. He wanted to have Cam next to him. Maybe then, everything would be better

"Alright, my room it is." he smiled and picked up the empty bowl while hugging Timmy to him, pressing a kiss to his forehead. "Go on into bed I'll wash this up and be right there." he gave a playful swat to the others a**, and started off to the kitchen, washing the bowl up, before coming back out and folding the blanket and switching the tv off, stretching again with a loud groan.

Timmy went into Cam's room, momentarily frightened of being in a room alone. That was when most of the people in the movie got attacked, wasn't it? When they were alone and there was no one around to help. He gave a small whimper, and as if he believed a blanket was the ultimate shield, put the blanket over his head. He shook as he rested his head on the pillow. Cam would come in soon, he thought. Everything would be fine.

Cam stepped into the bedroom seeing the Timmy lump under the blankets and stripped down to his boxers before he was crawling into the bed with a low "Rawwrrr" from him, a playful sound as he pinned Timmy before sliding under the blankets. "You cold? You're shivering. C'mere I'll warm you up." of course cuddling would warm him!

"Freezing," Timmy was grateful for the excuse to shiver. He moved closer to Cam, still trembling. "I didn't expect the heat of the day to fade so quickly," he said, feigning surprise. "It was a good day to watch a movie." Hopefully, they'd never have to see that particular movie again.

"I'll warm you up baby." words murmured softly against the others neck as he drew him closer. "It was a good night for a movie...but that one wasn't that good. I've seen better scary movies. That one was so weak." he shrugged. "Ah well. Now I know and won't watch any others in that series." his arms tightened, holding Timmy close. "Love you Timmy."

Timmy froze for a moment. "Weak?" he repeated, going pale. "What are the best kind?" he asked, looking away from Cam. Had he been frightened by a bad movie? Cam didn't seem at all bothered by it. Was he just a coward? "I love you," he said.

"Yeah it was weak. The plot was overly predictable, the "monster" I knew was someone pretending to be a beast.." he shook his head. "I've seen and read a lot of those books though. A lot of people have seen it and said it's really good. I guess I'm growing cynical and unimpressed. Probably give up watching them and stick to the books. They're better anyhow." well that was something for Timmy's peace of mind. "The best kind are a really good mind ******** that keep you guessing, and on the edge of your seat, jumping and frightened out of your wits. Full of tension until BAM...conclusion with a twist!" he clapped his hands together on the 'bam' while nipping the others neck gently. "Ready for sleep?"

"Really?" Timmy asked, blinking at him. He gave another shiver, and said, "I didn't think it was that predictable." He'd never seen a scary movie before, though, and if there were things more frightening than the one they had seen tonight, he didn't think he wanted to. He turned to face Cam, burying his face in the older teen's shoulder. He clung there, nodding slowly at his question. "I think so," he said.

Cam's fingers stroked along the others back and he kissed him softly. "Hopefully the movie didn't scare you...it was really a rotten film." well in his opinion it was! Cam...well he fell asleep quickly, and easily, still holding onto Timmy, a nice, peaceful look on his face as he slept, unaware of how frightened the other had been.

A rotten film, Timmy tried to convince himself that that had been all it was. A film meant to scare people who weren't used to scary movies, it seemed--people like him. He noticed, rather quickly, when Cam fell asleep. He almost moved to shake him awake, and then thought better of it. It wasn't fair to keep Cam awake just because he'd been frightened. Slowly, he fell into an uneasy sleep. He woke soon after, shivering and clammy. His subconcious seemed to be replaying parts of the movie whenever he closed his eyes.

Cam was oblivious to the fact Timmy was having nightmares. It was the shivering that woke him and he groaned a little as he roused himself, kissing the top of Tmmy's head. "Cold love? need more blankets?" he shifted to moved out of the bed, to get those blankets thinking the other might be getting sick.

Timmy took Cam's hand, throwing himself onto the older teen's chest. He gave a sniffle, shaking his head. "Not cold," he said. "No more blankets. Just... stay with me a while. Please."

Cam was fully woken when Timmy threw himself onto him, clinging and sniffling. "Timmy? You okay?" his words concerned as he shifted a little, arms curling tighter. "What's wrong love?" his hand stroked over his hair slowly and down his back, trying to comfort Timmy as best he could.

"I don't want to see anymore scary movies," Timmy confessed, still clinging to Cam tightly. "I'm sorry. I--I didn't like it. It scared me...and I can't get it out of my head! I keep seeing it..." he clung to the older teen. "I know it's not real, and that it wasn't even a good scary movie..." But it'd certainly scared Timmy!

Cam was more than wide awake at this point and he hugged Timmy closer. "Oh hell Timmy, I'm sorry. No more scary movies then, promise." he pressed soft kisses to the others cheek and neck trying to comfort him. "Is there anything I can do to help take your mind off it? I can turn on a funny movie? Or..?"

Timmy shook his head, snuggling Cam. "You're here," he muttered. "That helps. I love you, Cam. I'm sorry, I just--" he wanted to have this time with his boyfriend. "Stay up with me for a while?"

"Shhh. No you have no reason to be sorry. I'm sorry we watched that. You should have told me and I would have turned it off no troubles. I don't want to frighten you after all." of course not. "I'll stay up as long as you want me to, all night if thats what you want." he held the other closer, arms circled protectively around his boyfriend. "I'm here, and I'm not going anywhere."

Our First Christmas

Cam was excited, it was Christmas Eve and he and Timmy had been busy decorating their house for the holidays. Lights, and decorations and of course a tree with only a few presents under. Of course Santa was going to be paying a visit. He'd even rented the costume to ensure it!

Timmy had taken the excitement to a new level. Instead of continuing to decorate well into the night, the teenage skitty had brought a blanket out onto the couch and settled himself down onto it with a large plate of cookies in front of him. He expected Santa would be visiting soon--now if only his eyes would stop drooping! He had to see him! Then he'd be able to prove to Urban--and by extension, Tristan, that he was real!

Cam was well aware of the fact that Timmy was opting to camp on the couch and it amused him to a point. He'd set it up with Urban, who'd call asking Cam to "come over" to help with something so he could get out of the house for a bit and don the costume...and wait for Timmy to fall asleep. He was watching intently for him to fall asleep.

Timmy settled himself on the couch, using one of the pillows for his head. He heaved a yawn, rubbing his eyes in a last attempt to stay awake. His head slipped down and deeper into the pillow as he fell asleep. The blanket fell off of his legs and onto the floor, near the plate of cookies.

Cam was watching ever quietly from a back window where he could see the couch...and upon seeing Timmy asleep he quietly snuck in with a sack full of presents and began to set them under the tree silently till they were all under there. His next task was filling up stockings and he did that one by one till each was sagging. Turning the blanket was spotted and he quietly lifted it up and covered Timmy again and bent to brush a kiss to his lips.

Timmy slowly opened an eye, feeling lips brush his own. "Cam?" he muttered, still half asleep. He noticed then, the beard as he stared up into Cam's face. His eyes widened. "Santa?" he asked in astonishment. He looked to the christmas tree, eyes widening further. "It is you!" He would have to call Urban in the morning and tell him all about it. That'd show him, for not believing!

Cam had fortunately straightened up before he got caught giving that kiss and grinned affecting a deep chortle. "Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas Timmy! I see you left cookies and milk for me!" he reached for the plate and took a bite of one before downing some milk.

Timmy sat up, beaming. "They're all for you," he said. "Cam and I made them for you earlier." Where was Cam, anyway? Oh, right. Helping Urban with something. Probably setting up a Christmas present for Tristan. It must have taking a lot of assembly if it was taking them so long. "You probably don't have long. You have to visit every house in the world," Timmy began, understandingly, "But I can make you some hot chocolate, if you have a moment!" And maybe Santa had some sort of time abilities. Or maybe he just had a celebi.

"I think I can spare a few moments for some hot chocolate! It's awfully cold up there in that sleigh you know. My reindeer stay warm because of their fur at least." he smiled at Timmy then and moved away from the couch so the other could get up.

Timmy beamed, and sat up. He wrapped his blanket over his shoulders and made his way to the kitchen. He pulled out two mugs and a pan, before looking back to the living room. He was going to have hot chocolate with Santa Claus! He figured not many people could claim that. He began to heat the water, willing it to hurry and come to a boil silently. "Do you like whipped cream or marshmallows in it?" he asked.

Keeping in mind the beard Cam gave a laugh. "Just plain please Timmy. It's so nice to know you've been on the nice list this year. Why, do you know your friend Urban even made it on this year, amazingly!" Cam chortled again in amusement his "belly" shaking away as he followed the other to the kitchen.

"I'm on the nice list?" Timmy beamed. He'd never seen Santa before this year. He'd experienced Christmases, but they had been small and family oriented. As a pet, he had been given toys with pokenip in them. But to be on the nice list! That was a new thing, altogether! "Urban did too? But he doesn't believe in you. Or maybe he does and he says he doesn't." The teenager's eyes widened in sudden realization. "I bet that's it! He just doesn't want anyone to know! Did Cam make it on the nice list, too?" he paused only as he noticed the water reaching a boil. He took the pan and poured the water into the mugs, mixing in the hot chocolate mix. He placed the pan down carefully and offered a mug to Cam. "Cam did, didn't he? He's been good."

"Urban may not believe but his adopting Tristan and Tania put him near the top this year." There was another chortle from Santa-Cam who sipped at his cocoa a minute. "Cameron? He sure did, don't you worry your head off. He's on the nice list and has presents under the tree from me. Though he almost didn't make it after electrocuting you. That was very naughty."

Cam almost hadn't made it onto the nice list after electrocuting him? He frowned slightly. "It was an accident," Timmy assured him. "He didn't mean to hurt me, honest." And their love together made up for that. He had grown the day after, so he couldn't say the shock hadn't triggered his growth. He sipped at his hot chocolate, beaming at Cam for a long moment. "I'll tell Cam you visited," he said.

Santa-Cam drank a little more cocoa and smiled with a nod. "It seems everything worked out for the best in the end and you're happy. It's why he's on the nice list, because in the end it seems to have been what was needed despite it being naughty." He looked at the clock and smiled. "I imagine Cameron will be home before long, and I should get back to my sleigh so I can keep delivering presents." he reached into his pocket and pulled something out with a smile. "Go put this on your tree to celebrate your first Christmas together." it was a little ornament with the words Our First Christmas on it.

Timmy took the ornament with awe. "How'd you know it was our first christmas together?" he asked, eyes widening. "Oh. Right! You know everything!" Which would have been creepy, if it were any other guy, but this was Santa! He went to hang it up on the tree. "Bye Santa," he said, as he did so. "I'll see you again next year!"

"I'm sure you will Timmy! Get some sleep. Merry Christmas!" Cam waited till Timmy's back was turned and he was gone and out the way he'd gotten in without a sound. He snuck to the far side of the dojo and changed out of the santa costume and hid it away, and got his regular clothes on before he exited the yard, located a tree, and knocked show onto himself and stuck his hands in to get them cold, as well as rubbed it on his face. That done he went back to the front as if coming from Urbans and let himself in their gate and stomped on the way to the front door to knock snow from his boots. Then, he stepped inside quietly, still brushing snow from himself.

"Cam?" Timmy asked, going to meet him. "Cam, you're home!" the skitty teen threw his arms around his boyfriend, kissing him on the cheek. "Merry Christmas!" he exclaimed, delighted. "But you missed it," he realized, frowning slightly. "Santa was just here, too. Come see, he gave us an ornament to hang on our tree! I already put it up but I thought we should agree on where it should be hung, so we can move it together."

"I'm home Timmy! You're still up?" he finished swiping the snow off and hung up his coat and scarf and tugged off his gloves before he wrapped his arms around the other and kissed him back, his body considerably colder than Timmy's. "Seriously? Noooo..." Cam shook his head in disbelief at the other but followed him to the tree anyhow. "Okay lets see this."

Timmy pointed to the 'Our First Christmas' ornament with a bright smile. "See? He did come! He left all these presents. And he liked the cookies and milk I set out for him, too. He said we're all on the nice list. You, me and Urban, even! Annnnd," and here the skitty paused for dramatic effect, "he likes his hot chocolate without marshmallows!"

Cam listened to his boyfriend rattle off all this info, but couldn't help laughing. "Urban? Nice list?! He doesn't even believe in santa." he looked at the ornament and smiled. "It's a perfect ornament and I like where you hung it." he wrapped a chilly arm around the warm Skitty. "Does he? Must be the beard."

"He said we should get some rest," Timmy said, with a yawn. Rest sounded good, even after all of that excitement. "You can open your presents in the morning! But you have to open the one from me first. Promise?"

"We should get rest, it's late. Sorry I was gone so long. Urban needed me to help him finish up a present for Tristan he was having issues with." he nuzzled the others neck and smiled. "Promise, I'll open the ones from you first. For now, lets go cuddle. I'm freezing."

Troublemaker aka Cam did WHAT!?

Cam and Timmy's first ever misunderstanding...and it's dire results

WARNING: This set is under a spoiler because it deals with the sensitive subject of attempted suicide. If you do not want to read it, then do not click the spoiler.

There at been a slight influx at the small school Cam ran in his dojo. Of course advertising it had helped once he'd been ready to open up classes. He had beginners classes for the young and the slightly older, an intermediate, and an advanced.

His advanced class had all graduated so to speak, so he was working on his other classes. He'd had a new student start up a few weeks ago, a promising young Altaria teen had enrolled and was working hard, and impressing Cam to no end.

To the point Cam was discussing the teen. A lot. Praising his work, and determination. It wasn't that he was attracted to the teen, further from. But he was impressed and as a teacher proud of his student.

Timmy had brought Cam a cold glass of lemonade--topped with a toothpick umbrella, into the dojo after classes. The skitty boy was all smiles. He couldn't wait to hear about what the students had learned today. "Cam, I brought you some--" he stopped, falling silent. There was someone still here. He took a step back, and blinking. What was going on? Had Cam kept a student late? Had something gone wrong?

Cam didn't hear Timmy come in, which was unusual, but he was busy explaining things to that one student who was listening intently, and asking him all sorts of questions...even going as far as to step closer than was appropriate to Cam and touch him arm, looking into the older teen's eyes in such a way that left no question what was on his mind at least!

Timmy moved to where he could see Cam, frowning slightly. He set the lemonade down on the table. He wondered what to do--he knew that look. He himself often wore that look, when looking up at Cam.

Cam was oblivious to the flirting directed his way as he explained a move, and directed the teen to show him. When he got it wrong, Cam stepped closer and rested hands on the teen, helping to direct him in the proper movements. Of course...it looked like Cam was flirting back when in reality he was trying to move the Altaria's arms and legs into the proper positions.

Timmy took several deep breaths. In his hurry to leave the room, he knocked the lemonade from the table. The glass shattered as it hit the floor, but he paid it no mind. The only thing that mattered was that he had to get out of there. Now.

Cam hear the glass break and turned to see Timmy, and he looked confused. Why was Timmy running off upset? "Excuse me I have t..." his words were cut off as the teen suddenly shifted and planted his lips full on Cam's catching him off guard. "Forget him! Stay here with me...please!" Cam was utterly bewildered and he pushed the teen away swiping the back of his hand across his lips. "I'm sorry if I've given you the wrong impression but I love Artemis. I'm engaged to him! How...How dare you! Get out of my school, and don't return."

Cam turned away from the angry teen and went running, bare feet coming down on the broken glass and he not caring. Ignoring the pain as a piece worked deeper into his foot leaving bloodied prints in his wake. "Timmy! Timmy wait!

Timmy kept running. He didn't take anything with him, and instead hurried out of the house. He ignored Cam's calls--what excuse could he have for that? He'd seen it! He wouldn't cry. He wouldn't. He was determined not to--but where would he go?

Cam couldn't keep up. Not barefoot, and not with that glass working its way deeper into his foot. He stopped long enough to grip what he could of the piece glad it wasn't much smaller...or larger! and gave it a tug feeling it slide out and throwing it aside ignoring the blood flowing from his foot and fingers now. No instead he ran harder, trying desperately to catch up.

"Artemis wait! Please let me explain!"

Timmy had a head start on him though, and not being able to run as fast as he normally could had put him enough behind he couldn't close the distance easily.

He came to a stop breathing heavily, hands on his knees watching Timmy run away...and he felt his heart breaking...swore he heard it shattering...

Timmy hid behind a tree, looking back over at Cam. He gave a sniffle. He'd thought--he'd thought they'd had something special. That they had something that would last the rest of their lives. But that new student had come, and he felt he should have suspected something. Cam had always been full of praise for him. He should've seen it... He should've known...

Had his love blinded him?

Cam couldn't see Timmy anymore...and he sighed. Looking wouldn't help. Timmy was used to running. He could only hope he'd come home. There was a deep sigh as he looked around again and limped back home having run further than he realized.

Upon getting home he could see that the main house had been trashed...the altaria had been pissed to be left like that and taken it out on the unlocked house.

Doing the first thing that was necessary he cleaned and bandaged his foot...and silently cleaned the mess which hadn't taken too long. Things were toppled but not broken. The dojo was next and the glass and lemonade cleaned.

"Why...did you run away....why.....how could you think.....that I would do that? ....don't you trust me? Love me?" Cam's words were soft whispers of heart break. He didn't want to live without Timmy...but at this point it had been several hours....was he not coming home?

Going out to the garden Cam stood at the spot he'd first met Timmy, tears trickling down his cheeks. He was heart broken...and thinking irrationally. He had rope and a tall enough tree....

He had pills...he had swords...maybe seppuku was the best...it couldn't hurt any worse than this did. Timmy...didn't trust him. Had left him. A pained cry was torn from him in the form of the others name and he went after those pills and located his rope. He'd told Timmy he couldn't...wouldn't...live without him. He hadn't been joking. Without the Skitty...he had no reason to live.

Timmy was slowly making his way home. He'd thought through the situation--and maybe Cam hadn't been flirting, after all! Maybe he'd simply been showing the younger teen the proper way to stand. He would apologize--he wanted Cam in his arms. He wanted to be with him. It still pained him to think what had happened, had happened, but Cam was more important than that.

He loved him. His pace sped up, and when he reached the house he gave a knock. Would Cam be upset with him? Would he be angry?

Cam heard the knocking at the front door, but ignored it. Anyone who knocked had no business there at that point in his mind. The door was unlocked, and Timmy lived here...if it were him he'd come inside on his own. Cameron had written a quick note. A simple 'I don't know why Timmy thought I could...or would...cheat on him...why he suddenly stopped loving me...but I go to my death loving him always. May Artemis one day know just how much I loved him...even after he left me...Cameron'

This was laying on the bed where it could be found and he...he was sitting in ca corner of the room, slumped back against the wall a bottle in his hand...and he popping another few pills in his mouth. Sleeping pills...he'd fall asleep and never wake up...this was the easiest way right? How many was that now? Oh right..four.....the bottle was almost full...he'd better take more at a time...

Timmy swung open the front door. "Cam?" He called, looking for his fiancee hopefully. "Cam, I'm home! I'm sorry!" He looked in the dojo, and then in their bedroom. He noticed the note first. He took and read it, twice, eyes filling with tears. Had Cam...? No, he couldn't have! Didn't he know how much he loved him? "Cam...I'm sorry..." he buried his face in his hands, completely oblivious to Cam's presence in the room, and began to sob. This was his fault. All of it was.

How many had he taken now? Cam had lost count...they were quick acting. Maybe he should have had a glass of water and downed more in one shot...maybe a half dozen? a little more? His mind was already sort of foggy from the pills and his eyes were shut.

There was Timmy's voice! His heart leapt hopefully but his mind went 'You're being stupid. He left us. Shut up.' and his heart broke a little more hearing his love as nothing more than a hallucination.

The sobbing though...it pulled him to the surface just enough, and there was a slightly slurred "Don't cry...stupid Cameron's s'not worth crying over...he's...he's stupid...and dumb...and hurt his love somehow. So don't cry over his dumb a**." Cam's eyes weren't open, he couldn't seem to locate them to open them. The bottle of pills toppled from his hand unable to hold them anymore.

Timmy looked over, wiping at his eyes. "Huh?" Sudden realization happened then, and he took up the bottle of pills. Tears resurfaced. "...You... Cam, how many did you take?" he demanded. "You rest here... I'll--" do something. The move that had once cured the bug bite wouldn't be enough, he thought. But maybe... He put a hand to Cam's cheek and slowly kissed him. "Cam, I love you." He concentrated--and darkness took him. He'd used healing wish on Cam, causing him to faint.

"'nno...nine..or twelve...or something..." the words were slow in coming as he fought the darkness to think. All he wanted to do was sleep now...sleep and forget his heart break. That kiss...it caused fresh tears to roll down Cam's cheeks in strong rivulets, a sob catching in his throat. "Love...you too Artemis...can't...live without you..." he thought he was hallucinating all of this at this point....his mind supplying him with a final farewell of his love.

Only to feel the darkness lifting, his eyes slowly coming open and he feeling a weight against him, and he looking down to see Timmy against him and seemingly unconscious. "Tim...? Timmy? ...Artemis!?" Cam panicked, wondering if the other had finished the pills...and they'd worked on Timmy, but he'd merely slept them off...Had Timmy died in his arms tonight?

Then he realized the other was breathing, just not awake and he scooped Timmy to his arms and held him close, another choking sob coming from him as he sat on the bed and held his love close to him, kissing the top of his head.

"Wake up Timmy...please wake up...oh Arceus...please....please...."

Timmy slowly opened an eye. "Cam?" he asked, reaching a hand to stroke the zebstrika's cheek. "I'm sorry... So sorry. I didn't--I didn't--" he hadn't meant to make Cam attempt to take his own life. "...You're okay...?" he asked, staring up at him. Or were they both dead? Had he died in his attempt to save Cam? Had his attempt failed so miserably?

Suddenly, a burst of anger over took Artemis. He sat up and slapped Cam on the cheek. He was furious! "Don't ever do that again, idiot! I came back, didn't I? What were you going to do? Die and leave me here? Alone?"

That voice! His eyes opened and he looked down focusing on Timmy, looking him in the eyes and a joyous feeling washing over him. He was awake! He was okay! "I'm okay...of course I'm okay...you're here...you did so...."

His words were cut off by the unexpected and rather hard slap. That stung! Cam's eyes went wide in surprise at the Skitty's anger and who could blame him? He'd never seen the other lose his temper!

"Y....you left...wouldn't listen...waited...hours I waited...you didn't come home...didn't think you were coming home...." the desolation creeped back into his voice. "Can't live without you...told you that before...without you....there's no reason for me to continue..." His words were soft. Pained. His arms curled around Timmy tighter. "I'm sorry Artemis. So sorry."

"You idiot!" Timmy was further incensed by his fiancee's words. He pulled away from him. This was hard--but he had to make sure nothing like this would happen again. He hated being so harsh on Cam after such an ordeal--but he certainly deserved it. "No reason for you to live? Those kids in there!" he pointed to the dojo. "Urban, Tristan, your friends! Your job! Are they all meaningless, as soon as I step out the door?" He scowled. "Of course I came back. I love you. And don't forget it, either. Yes, I was angry. I was hurt. But to kill yourself over something trivial!" Timmy's wrath knew no bounds. He stood, and began pacing the room.

Cam didn't try to hold Timmy as he pulled away, he could see the other was beyond pissed at him. Every word or name flung at him made him flinch a bit, shoulders hunching but he silently took the tirade. He knew he deserved it in the end. Knew Timmy needed to work this out of his system. Cam....was at an absolute loss for words as he looked up at his pacing fiance, opened his mouth...thought better of it and merely closed it again silently. Instead he collected one of his pillows and a slight blanket. Seemed tonight would be a couch night in the end. He deserved that too. He'd been an absolute idiot, but he blamed his now former student. His voice was subdued as he spoke. A first for him. "I kicked him out...Bastien...he's not welcome here...I'm sorry...for everything..." Cam's head dropped again, shoulder still hunched looking rather depressed still, and started for the door.

Timmy turned to face him. "Do you know how scared I was?" he demanded, rubbing at his eyes. "I came home to apologize, because I'd realized I'd been stupid, and I find you--dying! Here in our room. You can't know what that's like. But if you ever do that again, I swear I'll put an end to your misery. And put that pillow down," the skitty snarled. "You're not leaving this room. You're staying right here, next to me, where I can see you. And if you try to run, I'll--" here the skitty hesitated. "I don't know, but you'll hate it!"

Cam had paused as the other continued to rail at him and he merely stood there and took it. He deserved every last bit of the others ire just then. He wouldn't argue. Couldn't argue. Of course losing Timmy was no trivial thing as the other thought, but he kept silent on that.

Though..having his life suddenly threatened made him finally raise his downcast eyes, looking at Timmy in utter surprise. The snarled order was also surprising. He didn't know Timmy had it in him to be so angry! Still, the pillow was set back down on the bed, and he reached for the note and merely set it aside before he silently stripped off his pants leaving his shirt and boxers tonight. Not something he normally did, preferring to sleep naked. But...he wasn't being presumptuous on anything.

Maybe Timmy didn't want him in bed naked tonight. Maybe he was too disgusted by what an idiot he was to want that near him. Dressed was another thing though...so he kept those two items on, as well as the wrap on his foot. He finally spoke though, words so soft. So very subdued. "I won't run I promise." he couldn't bring himself to use any form of the others name.

'I'm unworthy right now to utter his name...to be near him...that he's allowing me to stay here tonight...I'm lucky...'

Timmy moved to embrace him--and the anger ebbed, as suddenly as it'd come. The skitty teen buried his face into Cam's chest and sobbed. It wasn't fair. Cam wasn't acting like Cam. What was wrong with him? Had something changed during that near death experience. "I was so scared..." he blubbered. "I thought I was going to lose you... So I--I tried to save you. I had to. I love you... And you were there, in the corner with these." He held up the bottle of sleeping pills. "Just slurring. Like you were drunk. And I knew you were dying. I had to..." He'd needed to do something!

When Timmy hugged him, Cam's entire body seemed to melt and he wrapped his arms around him tightly, and held him as close and as tightly as he could, his hand brushing through the others hair slowly, gently. Though his fingers tightened and he gave a light tug forcing Timmy's head back and he kissed him hard and deep, trying to pour every ounce of his love for the other into that single act.

When he couldn't breathe anymore, he broke the kiss and tugged Timmy into his lap, still holding him close. "You did save me love.....you've saved me in so many ways since the day we've met...and tonight was another example.....I was dying...I was going to go to sleep...and forget all the pain....sleep through losing you...having you run away from me like that. Not letting me explain. If I slept...I wouldn't have to live with my broken heart and just knowing you hated me..and had left me forever. "

His hand was tangling in that hair again and he kissed Timmy again slowly. "I love you so much Artemis....so much...losing you...thats not trivial. I can't live without you. Just those few hours thinking you were gone forever were too bleak...too desolate. I'd lost all my reasons... the students could have found another teacher. Urban has his family... and you...you hated me...so I was doing you a favor..."

It wasn't the soundest of reasons but it was a reason...an explanation to his thoughts and behavior. "I thought...the pills would be easiest...for everyone else. No finding me hanging from the tree like I thought....not finding me in the dojo with my intestines spilled on the floor...or in the tub sitting in a hot bath with my wrists cut....just...asleep....looking peaceful...."

"You're an idiot," Timmy continued to sob, not returning Cam's kisses. Instead her burrowed his face into the older teen's shoulders. "I didn't hate you. I just... needed to get away for a while. I didn't take anything with me. I was going to come back... And when I did..." the younger teen shook. Finding Cam in such a state--because of him--had caused some internal turmoil. He slowly turned away from his fiancee. "It's my fault," he said. "If I hadn't have gotten upset and run, you wouldn't have done this. You wouldn't have tried to kill yourself. You wouldn't be acting like this." He pulled the blanket over his head. "Go to sleep, Cam," he said, with a sniffle. Things would look better in the morning. He hoped.

Cam merely continued to hug Timmy, even though his kisses weren't returned. That was okay...he didn't blame Timmy for it. He was an idiot he knew. "Would have caught you...but stepped on glass in the dojo and couldn't keep up because of it. If I could have caught you, I could have told you what had happened."

Cam sighed and scooted intent on laying down, keeping Timmy close, that was until Timmy pulled the blanket over his head. That made Cam let go and with another stab to the heart, he finally did lay down, reaching out to turn off the light. If Timmy wanted to be close, well he would welcome it...but a part of him....it expected Timmy to keep wrapped in that blanket, and "apart" from him.

"I'm sorry Timmmy." the words soft as he lay there staring up at the ceiling, unable to sleep. Maybe the morning would shed some better light on this. They'd be calmer...could discuss easier....or maybe...and it killed him to think this...maybe...tonight had been a nail in the coffin of their relationship and the morning light would finish hammering in the last.... he supposed only time would tell. ...and he would spend the night awake and unable to sleep thanks to the turmoil in his mind and heart.

Aftermath of Stupidity

Cam hadn't slept at all. Instead he alternated staring at the ceiling...and watching his fiance sleep..or was that pretend to sleep? It was hard to tell with that blanket over his head. He supposed Timmy had cried himself out.

As the sun began to rise he got up long enough to pull the curtains shut so the sun wouldn't get into the room and wake Timmy sooner than he wanted to be and resettled on the bed. He wouldn't leave the bedroom till Timmy woke.

His eyes burned from the lack of sleep, but they didn't bother him as much as his heavy heart did. He'd fretted the night away, wondering where they'd be in the light of day.

Timmy didn't wake up until well past noon. He had spent most of the night thinking, when he hadn't been crying. He pulled the blanket off of his head and sat up slowly. Tell tale tear stains remained on his cheeks. "Good morning." he said. "I'll make breakfast. You should come too, Cam," the skitty, who had not bothered to dress for bed, was still in his clothes he had worn the day before. He wandered out into the kitchen, and seemed lost in thought. "Hm... I wonder if we should have french toast or pancakes. Or eggs? Is it an eggs day?" Timmy's breakfasts moved in cycles, according to his mood. If it was a good day, they had waffles. If he felt it would be an okay day, they had pancakes. If Timmy was uncertain what kind of day it would be, they had french toast. And if he thought it would be a bad day, he made scrambled eggs. He really didn't like them.

"I'll be down in a moment, going to use the bathroom." he gave the Skitty a soft smile...only to realize it was directed at the others back and he sighed and went to use the bathroom, then washed up and splashed water on his face. After drying his hands and face his clothes were pulled on and he found that letter...that stupid letter...and snagged it as he went downstairs.

As he went he snagged a book of matches and a small bowl he used for burning incense...and he ripped the paper into bits dropping it in the bowl...and merely dropped a lit match to it all.

That done he went to Timmy and simply wrapped his arms around the other, and pressed a kiss to the back of a shoulder. "I love you. I love you so much. I'm sorry I behaved like I did yesterday. I over reacted. I shouldn't have reacted so strongly. Should have been patient and waited, and trusted you'd come home to me. But I was scared, and at a loss. It was no excuse." it wasn't!

"You sit love. I'll make breakfast. You've done enough. You had to deal with Bastien, and then coming home to me like I was...and saving my life...and then of course whipping me back into shape."

"Apologizing won't take it away," Timmy muttered, as he moved to the fridge to fetch the carton of eggs. "I don't think I'll ever forget it. Finding you like that. You were...so helpless." He loved Cam, he really, truly did. But how could he look at him, without seeing what had happened yesterday? When would the fear that Cam would do that if he let Cam leave his sight, stop entering his brain? "Don't leave the house today," he muttered, turning from the fridge and facing Cam. He put a hand to his cheek. "I'm not losing you. So until I know there won't be a repeat of yesterday, you're not leaving my sight."
The skitty teen paused for a long moment, before adding, "Oh. I'm calling Urban," with feigned cheerfulness. "He should know, so he doesn't call asking for you to go over. You're grounded, Cam."

Cam let Timmy move away from him, feeling his heart sinking again. Timmy didn't want him touching him. Okay... he could do that he guessed. He'd looked away from the other and his head was bowed a sad look on his face. It was his own fault Timmy was so mad at him. "I won't leave the house today...or tomorrow...I'll cancel classes for the next while..."

Timmy's hand on his cheek felt so nice! His eyes closed as he leaned into that touch unsure of when the other would touch him again...or allow himself to be touched. "You can call him, or I will. I won't go over...and frankly he doesn't need to come over here."

There was a soft quirk of Cam's lips as he was told he was grounded, and he nodded. "Alright. I'll be grounded. Maybe we can start working on some wedding details then." well...why not?

Timmy nodded, pulling out his cell phone. He dialed Urban's phone number. He waited for the older teen to pick up, gesturing for Cam to continue making breakfast. "Hi, Urban? Sorry to bother you but we've had a mishap here. Cam won't be allowed to leave the house for some time. He's grounded. You, of course, are always welcome to visit."

Urban had answered and was surprised to hear Timmy on the other end...and that Cam was grounded due to a mishap. "Everything okay there kid? Need me to come over?" Cam took the hint and started making breakfast, eggs cracked into a pan and he starting to cook them as he listened to the conversation. He had no classes that day, so would spend the day calling students to let them know things were on hold for awhile.

The eggs were served up after a few more minutes and he poured them some juice and moved to the table, poking at his food with a fork. He would have to think of some way to break the tension in the air. It was so thick it could have been cut with a knife.

When Timmy sat, he risked reaching out and touching his hand, fingers curling gently. "I promise you I won't ever do anything like that again. I won't do anything to leave you. Even if by some chance you don't want me anymore...I promise not to try killing myself ever again."

"Cam attempted suicide yesterday," Timmy began, telling Urban the whole story. There was a catch in his voice by the end of it. "I'd like someone to talk to..." he lowered his voice, "someone who wasn't here yesterday." It'd be nice to talk to someone who wasn't Cam about this. "Could you bring chocolate?" He hung up, looking to Cam. "How can I believe that?" He asked softly. "You tried once."

"He...what?[ Yeah I'll be over in a little bit with some chocolate for you, and we'll have a talk you and I...and I'll kick his dumb a** for that stunt while I'm at it. Hang tight okay?"

Cam had no answer for that question aside from a whispered "You just have to trust me...that's all..." but that disbelief was enough to have his shoulders sagging and he taking a few silent bites of food. He'd really messed up he could tell.

Not ten minutes passed and there was a thud at the door, and in came Urban looking ready to spit nails! He set a bag down in front of Timmy and ruffled his hair with a gentle "Hey kid." before he turned to Cam....and decked him, sending the shiny Zebstrika toppling from his chair to the floor.

"What the ******** were you thinking a*****e?! Honestly! I swear to ******** Arceus if I ever hear of you pulling that s**t again I'm going to personally cut your d**k off and shove it so far up your a** your breath will smell like it do you understand me ********!?"

...Why yes, Urban was pretty damned angry himself. "Pick your sorry excuse for an a** up and eat your ******** breakfast. You do not move from that damned table or so help me Cameron I will hog tie your a**, drag you to your bedroom, and tie you to that bed and beat the ever living s**t out of you for pulling that move on Timmy. Selfish mother ********..."

Urban was growling at his long time friend, before he turned to Timmy. "C'mon grab that bag. We're going to go sit out front to talk, and Cameron is going to keep his a** right there in that chair if he knows whats good for him."

Cam pulled himself up, hand rubbing his jaw and face lightly. Damn Urban hit hard!

"Hi Urban," Timmy was going to invite Urban for breakfast when the teen began to rip into Cam, all but literally. He was surprised at the older teen's anger. He watched, blinking, before Urban turned to him. "Thank you for coming," he muttered, as he took the bag and walked out onto the porch. "You sure its okay to leave him?"

"I'm sure it's okay. He won't move from that chair." Urban sat down on a slight swing on the porch, and waited for the other to join him. "So..let me get this straight on what happened?" Urban ran down the details as he'd been given them, while inside Cameron made his necessary phone calls, and once done pushed his plate away but didn't get up.

"It surprises me he resorted to that Timmy, but I don't think he'd do it again. He did it out of desperation it sounds like. I've never seen him as happy as it has been since the two of you started dating. You're his whole world...and so I'm guessing for him to do what he did...it must've felt like he'd lost everything important to him. I'm not excusing what he did. It was stupid and selfish. But if you say he's promised not to do it again, he'll keep his word."

Timmy's lip trembled. He forgot about the smiles he'd planned to flash in Urban's direction. He'd forgotten that he had planned to tell Urban that everything was alright. He set the bag down and moved to hug him. "I can't believe that," he said, with a shake of his head. "What if that happens again? If he thinks he's lost me and..." he couldn't lose Cam.

Urban reached out and slid an arm around Timmy and hugged him gently. "Listen kid...part of this is my fault. When Cam and I were dating years ago when we were like sixteen....he was away for a few weeks for a competition and stuff...and I got lonely...really lonely. I couldn't even talk to him on the phone and I cheated on him with a really hot chick and her equally hot brother..at the same time. When he found out he was so hurt. I knew he'd have never done that to me, and yet I'd done it to him."

Urban sighed. "So I think his reaction was also in part to you thinking he'd cheated. He's one of the most faithful guys I've ever met when it comes to relationships. He'd never cheat on you, and I think being indirectly accused of that hurt him almost as much as the thought of losing you. It sounds like he had a lot fall down around him in one instance and he only saw one way to handle it. I honestly do not think he'd ever do something like this again. He knows you love him Timmy."

"Your fault?" Timmy echoed, wide eyed. He looked up at the older teen, blinking. But it couldn't possibly be Urban's fault. He hadn't--he hadn't been there! He opened his mouth to say so, but hesitated long enough to hear Urban's next words. "Oh..." He couldn't imagine getting that lonely. But if he was away from Cam for weeks at a time--he wondered what would happen. "But you loved him?" he asked with a slight frown. "You still care about him, even though you cheated." He fell silent, and continued to listen. He reattached himself to Urban--hiding his face in the older teen's chest. "It's my fault," he said. "If I hadn't gotten upset--if I'd just...I didn't know!"

"I did love him, in my own way. But...not enough. Not the way he needed and deserved. Not the way you love him. Not the way I love Solange. We were kids then and I was an exceptional idiot then. It almost ruined our friendship along with our relationship." he hugged Timmy gently. "You made a mistake. You were upset and you reacted accordingly. Now...well now he knows how you can react to things, and he won't be so hasty next time. I'll also remind him next time to call me and I'll keep him from being so damn stupid." his hand rubbed the Skitty's back gently. "You can't spend the rest of your life blaming yourself, or worrying. It won't do either of you any good, and will become a cancer on your relationship, and rot it away into nothing." easier said than done he knew.

"I can't just stop worrying," Timmy said, with a shake of his head. "I keep seeing it happen, Urban. How I found him... I knew he was dying. I knew. And I--" he muttered something in audible, voice muffled by the argonn's chest. "And I don't know how to stop blaming myself. It wasn't like when Cam shocked me. We were equally to blame then... But this... I could've at least talked to him... prevented this..." He heaved a sigh, hugging Urban tightly. "I don't want to cause more problems."

"You know, I was to blame for Cam getting pissed off then too. I seem to have a talent for that." one hell of a talent. He let Timmy hide his face a bit, before he made the younger teen look up at him. "Look. You both ******** up alright? You shouldn't have run off like that and he shouldn't have reacted like that. You gotta remember kid s**t happens and what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. He didn't die. You saved his life. He'll never forget that you know. You both learned a valuable lesson though. Yeah it'll take some time to move past this, but you have to. Trust me. You're young, you make mistakes...and Cam...he's a love sick fool who doesn't handle broken hearts well. But he'll be okay now. I'm sure of it."

"But I almost didn't," Timmy began, sniffling. "I didn't think I could. I don't know how I did. I just... I don't know, Urban. I think it was some sort of move. Like the one I used to cure that bug bite that made him so sick. But it was different. And I can't help thinking what would've happened if I hadn't been able to save him..." he looked up at Urban, wiping at his eyes. "I can't let him out of my sight. Just leaving him to make breakfast frightened me..."

"Then you'd have picked up the phone and called someone to come and get him and they'd have pumped his stomach to get those pills out of him. You'd have saved him regardless." he hugged the Skitty again tightly. "It'll be scary for awhile I hate to say." he looked up as the front gate swung open and in came a delivery man carrying an oversized bouquet of flowers. "Flower delivery for Artemis?" Urban pointed to the teen and he signed for the flowers for the kid since the flowers were being shoved at him. It looked like several dozen of Timmy's favorite flowers. There were bright daffodils, and lots of lilacs, and lots of roses. Red, white, pink, yellow... Cam had ordered as many as they'd had, and it had come to about 4 1/2 dozen flowers and a note that simply said 'I swear to you I will never do that again. I love you Artemis. -Cameron'

Timmy took the flowers in confusion, wondering who could have sent them, until he read the note. He stiffened, and carefully handing Urban the flowers, he ran into the house and threw his arms around Cam. "I love you too!" he cried. "I love you!"

Urban took the flowers as they were handed to him and followed Timmy inside and went to find some thing to put the flowers into. Or several somethings. It wouldn't do to have them die.

Cam hadn't moved from that chair, he was still sitting there facing the way he'd been. The plates stacked up neatly, his phone back in his pocket after making all needed calls, and he was sitting there hands simply in his lap staring out the window opposite him. It was Timmy throwing his arms around him that had him looking away arms curling around him tightly and dragging him into his lap, kissing him gently.

"I was stupid. I was scared. I reacted badly. I swear to you it'll never happen again. I love you Artemis. I love you so much. I won't ever put you through that again I promise." his words were soft, fervent things as he pressed kiss after soft kiss to the others lips, hands cupping his cheeks. "Your'e my whole world...and I thought I had lost it all...and I panicked. But I won't do it ever again."

Lirilei
Timmy's Illness

Stress takes its toll on Timmy

Timmy had felt ill for the last twenty four hours. His stomach seemed to reject everything he ate--or drank, for that matter. His nose was stuffed, and he felt it must have doubled in size, at least! Maybe it shrunk whenever he checked the mirror. He hadn't wanted to worry Cam with this--it was something small, he was sure of it; so the skitty hadn't eaten after the second time he'd had to rush to the bathroom. He'd sipped at water, but that hadn't helped. Maybe he would go to the store and buy some sprite. Or ramen... Something to help.

Cam had noticed Timmy wasn't eating. Was barely drinking. It looked as if the other teen had a cold starting...but how much was a cold and how much was stress? It had been almost a week since his attempted suicide, and it didn't look as if Timmy slept much. He always looked tired, and it was starting to worry Cam to no end. But this was day he didn't know what of his fiance not eating and it was scaring him.

Timmy was oblivious to Cam's thoughts, and instead of going to the store as planned, he flopped onto the couch. "Watch something with me," he invited Cam. He gave his fiancee a smile and reached for his hand.

Cam was happy to settle on the couch with Timmy and did so easily, arm curling around the other and pulling him close. "What did you have in mind to watch love?" he nuzzled at the others hair gently, a kiss pressed to his head. There was a frown and his lips brushed softly over his forehead. "You feeling okay? You feel sort of warm..."

"I thought we could pick something together," Timmy said with a smile. "Let's go through the channels and find something interesting. He pressed the one up button on the channel changer. "News," he groaned, clicking it again. "Sports, no. More news, documentry--this could be interesting," he paused, for a brief moment, and then said, "Aw, it's a commercial." He hesitated, at Cam's words. "I'm fine!" he said, forcing a smile for his fiancee's benefit. "Never felt better."

"Something together works." he settled more as Timmy flipped through the channels. "Hmm...old black and white...they usually tend to be pretty decent and generally sort of romantic." not a bad thing! He appraised Timmy closely. "Well...if you're sure. I know you haven't been eating much. Just making sure you're not coming down sick." a soft note of concern in his voice.

The skitty boy smiled and paused on the old black and white movie Cam had indicated. He moved to lay his head in Cam's lap. "Romantic is always good." Timmy felt horrid for lying to Cam, when he knew his fiancee was just worried about him. But he forced another smile. "I'm fine," he assured him. "Just not very hungry. Maybe I'll try something later."

"Well so long as you eat something soon. Do you want me to make you a small snack? Maybe some juice?" he was doing all he could. He didn't offer to go to the store. They'd been doing things like that together lately and he really didn't want Timmy out and about today. Not if he could help it. "Romantic is very good. I haven't seen this one before."

"Maybe some juice," Timmy agreed, reluctantly. "I'll try it." He would. And if it made him sick--well, he'd come up with something. How he hadn't known he was coming down with--whatever it was he had. "Orange juice, maybe?"

"Alright love, some orange juice and a few crackers." he kissed the others cheek and eased to his feet and padded into the kitchen a small glass of juice for each of them and a plate with crackers set up before he was coming back out and settling again. "Here you go nice cold orange juice and some crackers."

Timmy took the orange juice and sipped at it in silence. He hoped the juice would stay down. Oh, he hoped. But as soon as he finished those thoughts, it seemed, his stomach started throwing a tantrum in protest to its sudden contents. He put a hand to it, hoping to settle it. No luck. He set the orange juice down and ran for the bathroom.

The other running for the bathroom had him blinking in surprise and he got to his feet and went after him pausing in the door way and looking down at the other. He opted to try lightening the situation. "Are you pregnant love?" he stepped in and knelt beside him, rubbing his back gently.

Timmy had his head hung over the toliet--but he took the time to look up at Cam in horror. Could he get pregnant? He hadn't thought--what if he was? The skitty hadn't yet learned the differences between male and female composition. "Do you think I could be?" he asked with wide eyes. He seemed to be about to continue, when he gave a shudder and moved closer to the toilet.

"No love you're not pregnant. Guys can't get pregnant. Only girls, and you are most definitely all male." he continued to rub Timmy's back as he knelt behind him trying to comfort him as he threw up. "How long have you been feeling sick?" a soft concerned note. He had a feeling it'd been since not long after their misunderstanding really.

"Only girls? Oh..." Timmy sounded almost relieved--and yet there was an unhappy note to his voice. Why could only girls get pregnant? That wasn't fair. Everyone should have the chance to bring life into the world, shouldn't they? It must have been a uniquely, wonderful experience. "Since yesterday," he muttered. "I didn't want to worry you."

He heard the unhappy note in Timmy's voice and hugged him gently. "If you want, we can adopt at some point and have kids that way." well it was an idea in the end, and the only way they could have kids, short of a surrogate mom for one of them to artificially impregnat. "Come on, lets get you into bed, and resting. I'll stay with you."

"Adopt?" Timmy repeated, hopefully. "You mean like Connie did Brenny?" That sounded nice. They could be parents then, they wouldn't miss out on raising a child. He shook his head slowly, when his fiancee suggested going to bed. "I think I should stay here for a while," he muttered, leaning his face over the toilet. "Yeah... The cool floor feels nice..."

"Just like that yes. We'll talk about it more once you feel better." he shifted and got a washcloth wet and wrung it out, brushing it over Timmy's forehead and laid it on the back of his neck. "Want me to stay here with you?" he kept rubbing the others back a concerned frown on his face. He hated that Timmy was sick and he had no way to heal him...except... "If I got some

"Stay here," Timmy said, raising his hand to grip Cam's. "I love you," he said. "I'm sorry. I think I did this to myself." He'd been so worried over Cam for the past week. He'd hardly been able to sleep. And when he did sleep, he tended to wake up at random, as if to reassure himself Cam was still by his side. He constantly worried, if he couldn't see his fiancee. "Stay," he instructed, again, tightening his hold on Cam.

"I'll stay." Cam settled so he was sitting not kneeling and settled behing Timmy gently rubbing at his shoulders. "I love you too, and I'm sorry...I'm sure I had something to do with this." he bent his head to press a kiss to his shoulder. "I'll stay. I'll only move to get up and wet the wash cloth for you, or to get you water." he was glad that others throwing up didn't bother him!
