She gave him a condescending smile and didn’t say a word. She just turned and kept on walking she was close to the den now. She moved quickly back to where she first caught a nose full of pepper scent. She looked around the area and then yawned loudly. It was going to be a long day if she had to deal with a grumpy kit like scribble fox.
She blinked slowly and looked down at the ground knowing better then to breathe in the spice. She sat back up and flipped her hair which fell back into place almost immediately. Her ruby eyes turned back to Yokai’s silver ones. “So are you gonna help me find the idiot or just sit and pout?”

"You are so....rude....insensitive....bah!" Yokai glared at the vixen as she walked away from him, "Oh ho! Where the hell do you think you're going?!" He chased after her. There was no way in hell shew as getting away with ignoring him. "Pout? Pout!?"
Yokai gaped at the female, "I do no....pout!"
He stomped his foot as he glared daggers at her. "You want me to help you find this stupid kit of yours?" He comically looked at the yellow vixen, "What the hell is in it for me?"

Rude? Insensitive? Well now he really was pouting. It was a nice change from Ico’s simple roll over and pretend to sleep attitude. She smiled sweetly. “You know what. If you help me find him then I’ll not only take back what I said about your little accessory.” She stressed the word. “but I’ll also hunt and get you something tasty to eat. It will be my treat.” Trisha could hunt and she was very good at it. For her to offer Yokai a meal was nothing hard for her. Annoying, but not hard.

Yokai looked at the vixen like she was insane. Just because she said she was going to go hunt for him, which was something that he could do perfectly well on his own, hell probably better, didn't mean that he was going to drop everything he was doing to help her. Screw that s**t.
"Why the hell should I help you? You haven't been the least bit nice to me since you met me." In fact she had been a snarling harpy since the moment that they had met. Ha! Help her indeed. That was the last thing on his mind. First on his list of priorities was to drop this b***h into a steep hole.

Keeping the fake sweet demeanor she giggled. “because I promised to be nice to you and even to get you a meal, but if you’re so unchivalrous to leave a girl to fend for herself, and prove yourself a coward in the process be my guest. It only proves your ribbon was really meant for a girl.”
She said as much as she wanted to. To speak any more to the scribble ribbon was just a waste of breath. She stepped away from the spot she knew was permeated with the spices and began looking at Ico’s other’s tracks to try and figure out which where newer and which were newest. She looked forward to having Yokai take a deep whiff of the spice and burn his nose.

Yokai sneered at he. He knew that he was being baited. he knew that much. But she kept calling him a girl, and it was seriously pissing him off. To the point where he couldn't stand it anymore. Growling under his breath he walked over to the spot she was in and sniffed lightly.
"What the hell is that god awful stench!" He growled as he rubbed at his nose, shaking his head hoping to dislodge the pungent spices. God, his nose was burning. His nose was on fire!

“That’s why I am feeling a bit short before meeting you.” Trish snorted softly actually feeling a bit guilty, which surprised her. Still she felt she proved her point. Now he knew why she was so irritated before she met him. “I’d like to see you notice anyone while on your way to the river to use the mud to get the stench out.” She started toward the river. “Come on, but don’t use straight water or it will burn worse. Mud first then rinse with water.” Trish kept a close eye on the tracks as she headed to the river. She hoped she was on the trail Ico used. Trust the moron to use the most direct route after a dirty trick with those peppers.

Yokai looked at her like she was crazy. "If you think that I am shoving mud up my nose then you are insane." He frowned at the vixen. What, the, ********. There was no way in hell he was going to do something that freaking weird. Walking over to the edge of the water he dipped his nose forward.
Of course then the burning started. Not that he would admit as much to the vixen of course. Nope, that information he was going to keep to himself.

The yellow vixen was certain she knew what had happened but she didn’t say a word. She had tormented him quite a lot and now it was just getting sad. “Well I’m sure you feel all nice and refreshed now.” The statement actually managed not to have any direct malice in it. She looked around and thought she spotted one of Ico’s tracks across the river. She started to pace to try and get across. She thought she saw a shallow spot and started to cross.

Yokai looked back at the vixen and frowned. What no mocking? No throwing it in his face that it was painful as hell but it was his own fault for not listening to her. What the hell was wrong with her? Why all the sudden was she being so nice to him.
The male furrowed his brow as he looked over at her, "What did you find?" If she wanted to ignore, then he sure as hell wasn't going to bring it up. Walking over to where the vixen was looking, he snuck a glance down at the ground and spotted the foot print.
"Is that his?"

“No it belongs to the modeity of stupid foxes, don’t you recognize your own deity?” Trish’s voice was dripping with annoyance. She could feel bad for the male since he did hurt himself, as she knew he would, but questions like the last one he asked just made her insides broil. Why would she follow the tracks if they weren’t for who she was looking for?
Since she was rolling her eyes she hadn’t been paying attention to where she was stepping it wasn’t all that surprising when she slipped. Yalping when her head went under the water she found herself choking on water. She quickly tried to stand up and it took a few times, before she managed it.

"Maybe it belongs to the Modeity of Bitchy Foxes." Yokai added as he looked at her annoyed. "In which case you should know her work very well...After all you are her more devote follower." The male glared at her venomously. But when she slipped into the water, there was some strange sense of honor in him that made him reach out. He gripped her neck with his teeth lightly, then pulled her out of the water.
"Clumsy b***h, you in that much of a hurry to die? I thought you were looking for that idiot friend of yours. Can't do that if you're dead."

Oh she wanted to hurt him. It was bad enough that she slipped, but the fact this irritating a** of a male had the gull to help her and then say such things was too much. Growling she tried to get her fur out his mouth. “I’m not trying to die. I’m trying to get your stench away from me. You smell so bad I had to go underwater to escape it.” Standing she flipped her wet hair hoping to splash the jerk. A little voice in her head picked that as the perfect time to scold her for insulting someone who had just helped save her life. “Still I suppose it it might not be you, just those demandable peppers that smell so bad. I'll kill that idiot when I find him.”

Yokai looked at her, sopping wet hair flinging into his face. Growling lowly, he flashed her an annoyed look before looking away. "Too ******** bad if you don't like my smell. Because I am not planning on going anywhere until we find that idiot of yours." He had made a promise to help her, and god damn it he was an honorable fox no matter how lowly she thought of him.
"So hurry up and dry off so that we can start freaking tracking the sorry a*****e."

And just why was he still following her? Most other foxes would have left by now. Trish had to admit grudgingly that she was somewhat impressed with the scribble ribbon fox. “When we find him I’ll let you push him in the river and I’ll hold him down.” Compromise, Trish was capable of it. Moving a distance away from Yokai Trish shook off. The end result was her looking like a fluffy version of herself but she wanted to get the tracking over with to shut Yokai up. It would take forever to groom herself back to normal and in the meantime the male would whine even more.
(why did this turn into a hunt for vengeance?? crying )
