xxxxZayr the Iron Monk xxxx  One hand went free from the blade, which was thankfully ceasing its rampage for the moment. The greatsword was the last thing he needed making trouble, but it seemed that Zay did just as well for all intensive purposes The feeling flesh being knit together was a familiar one, but it seemed strange to have many outside of Mi or himself doing the patchwork. "It's uh... Okay," the jade eyed monk smiled, meeting her purple-hued eyes. "It's a good thing, since most medics stop their own hearts when they see me coming. It's nice to meet you, to." Her laugh was quite a nice one. Up off the snowy ground, Zay rose, grasping the hilt of the blade, working on binding it again to its usual place. His arm rotated a little, just out of habit after a healing, displaying the plate of Kirigakure. "I'm actually sorry I had to cause you some trouble there.""A man's soul wrought in iron!"

xxxxZayr the Iron Monk xxxx It was ever so likely that the monk would look off into space, there was just so much to look at all about. Kiri was busy, but never quite as busy as this one. Ikebana was quite the miracle. So many lives moving about. The chaos of a community, without the eventual bloodshed. Down, he followed her hands with his eyes, before noting where she was from. "I don't get out much, but it's nice to see a friendly face," Zay chuckled simply, "I was in the evaluations, yeah. Can't say I've looked at everyone's. They just told me my scores, my placing and gave me my reward money. What brings you out here? I didn't see you 'round before." "A man's soul wrought in iron!"

Jae walked about the shopping area, giving herself one more round of the area in order to calm her nerves. She had gone from one fight to the next and had not faired well in either. Her arms were bandaged now, the burns heavily slaved with healing ointments. Very soon she was going to start to resemble a mummy of sorts. Her pink hair had finally been let loose, the locks spilling over her shoulder and framing her face. Her gaze was dulled as she browsed, not particularly paying attention to any one specific thing. She had found the scarf, the one that that practically told a fairy tale on it, here. Other than that there was nothing that called her particular attention and she found herself lacking in the mood to continue sticking around in this village. Truth be told she wanted to sulk. She wanted to go home and just laze about on her mothers lap like she used to when she was a child while her mother both scolded her and comforted her at the same time. She sighed, placing her hand gingerly over the bandages on her left arm. The cold temperature felt good against the burned skin but it wasn't enough to keep her here.
Not paying attention to where she was walking she bumped into someone, her face practically burying itself into the stranger, or not so much a strangers, chest. "Sorry, I wasn't paying att--..." She had taken a small step back and had looked up, staring directly up at Noctis. Immediately her words were lost as she narrowed her gaze. Oh it's him. She thought. If it was Noctis there was no need to apologize. "Tch." Jae said simply, crossing her arms slowly as to not accidentally rub the wrap that was shielding her delicate burns. "You are still here. Shouldn't you be returning home to your kids and wife?" She said, her tone holding a sort of sour note, one that she herself did not recognize.

Noctis looked as the scene between the Kiri nin and his sword became boring when he started talking to Sukai. He turned to leave as someone bumped into him, the pink hair allowed him to instantly recognize her. Despite her mummified appearance. She was about to apologize when she seemed to recognize him her attitude suddenly changed. He held a somewhat cold glare at her as he ate his burrito."She treats strangers with better manners than me." A vein appeared on his head when she spoke of his wife and kids."She's not my wife, and I was thinking of buying somethings before I headed back."He said cooly still eating his burrito which tasted delicious."You should watch were you are going."They always seemed to argue about something when they spoke.

Terminology. She practically is why is he playing so coy all the time! It annoyed her for no apparent reason every single time she felt almost compelled and inclined to bring that point up to him as if to remind him, or herself, that he had responsibilities. He scolded her, letting her now to watch where she was going. Jae's jaw dropped slightly. "You bumped into me first!" She said, knowing she was wrong. She had spaced out but there was no chance in hell she would ever admit that. Jae clenched her teeth together suddenly, her jaw locking and her teeth making an audible snapping noise. Ow, ow, ow, ow. She was still recovering from practically everything and getting worked up over nothing was pushing her limits, so to speak. Trying to calm herself down she muttered under her breath, something about Noctis being an insufferable man, and looked the other way. When she regained cool somewhat she glanced at him through the corner of her eyes before looking up at him again. "Buy... something? " Maybe it's for his kids. She thought, not really picturing Noctis to be the souvenir type of person. Her expression was a little more relaxed than before, her curiosity peeked. "Like toys and stuff?" She asked, not coming out right and inquiring as to whom he was purchasing things for.

Noctis shook his head."No I didn't it would be obvious to a blindman that you bumped into me."He said to her, hearing the snapping sound and he clenched teeth she probably hurt herself or something. He silently facepalmed himself for her. Then when she asked what he was gonna buy mentioning toys for his kids. His face lockdown on all emotion so she wouldn't know his true intentions."Tch, why do you care I'm not getting you anything." Now she was poking her nose into what he was doing. He stopped and supposed he couldn't really say anything about that since what happened in Yuki.

Her lips pressed down tightly against one another, flattening into a straight line. Her brows drew together somewhat, her expression not one of anger but one of genuine hurt. "Right..." She didn't even know why she tried. He had been the one who had messed up. He had been the one who constantly riled her up for no reason but here she was constantly 'looking for him', so the saying went. What was she expecting? A miracle of sorts? And for what? She laughed out loud, the sound sarcastic in itself. Shaking her head slowly, as if coming to a grand conclusion she smiled at him, her insufferable false 'cheer' immediately covering up her honest reaction. She had been unsure of what to make of Noctis. Time and time again he had done things that amazed her and angered her. Now she felt as if she had her answer. "Well. Have fun shopping Sunbae." She looked past him, down the crowd and then back to him. She would try to avoid him for now. That was probably the best thing to do. It was obvious that this was the best route to take.

Noctis looked at her, he could tell that something changed. He had probably gone over the line there a bit. He sighed and looked at her for a moment. He closed his eyes and sighed one more time."Jae... I'm sor-."That instant konoha anbu appeared next to Noctis."Noctis Shinsetsu, your presence has been requested in the Land of Fire."Noctis looked over at the Anbu, they had come all the way here to take him back to the Land of Fire? What was going on? He guessed he had to go since he didn't really have a choice but he still needed some shopping done. He made a clone and nodded to them, giving Jae one last look which seemed apologetic. As he vanished leaving the clone who just waved at Jae."Heya Jae! been some time since the hotsprings huh?"

Of course before she could even register anything other than him saying her name a group of ANBU encroached on the area. Jae tensed, her experience with ANBU was not a pleasant one. She clenched her small fists tightly, the skin along her arm stretching in response. It was painful but she didn't pay it any mind. They were here for Noctis apparently and as he disappeared, they too followed him out. Noctis had left a clone behind, the same clone that had so graciously shared a bath with in the hot springs before her exam. It was a scenario she didn't want to relive. She scoffed at him, crossing her arms over her chest tightly. "One jerk replacing another jerk. How convenient. " She was annoyed and tired now. She placed her palm to her forehead, cursing her own bad luck. It's for the best. You can just slip out of here. Maybe I can see mom before I go back. Jae thought idly. There was no way that Yukigakure would let her through though. She didn't want to deal with them on her own. She sighed heavily as if the weight of the world had come crashing down on her shoulders. Her thoughts returned to Noctis and the ANBU though. She was a little worried, despite herself. It took all of her willpower not to try and tail them.

The clone looked at her facial expression and how she looked in the direction of where the Anbu and the original left."Worried about Noctis? Don't be I'm sure its nothing."He said taking a few steps before stopping."Unless...Kirigakure heard of the death of their chunin while battling Noctis and to avoid a war Konoha has decided to sacrifice Noctis in the place of the other shinobi!"The clone said smacking his fist against his flat hand.

She would not show it, especially to this perverted jerk. Nor would she justify his taunting with a response of her own. Instead she played it cool until he mentioned something about Noctis serving as a replacement sacrifice for the accident that had occurred during one of the exam rounds Noctis had undergone. Jae looked to the clone, the color draining from her face and giving her a sort of chalky look to her, as if she was on the verge of passing out once again. He's just messing with me. Right? I mean there is no way that... Among other imperfections Jae had being gullible was definitely one of them. She panicked somewhat and moved after the clone, latching onto his arm tightly with her bandaged right hand. She applied more pressure than was necessary and her fingernails dug into his skin slightly. "They wouldn't do that right?! The Hokage wouldn't allow it! I mean it was an accident and they dont even know for sure if that's what happened! " Jae was mortified and her panic showed it.

The clone noticed the color drain from her face and his mentally smirked. But then she latched onto his arm and dug her nails into him. Which hurt a bit, but he wasn't gonna let that stop him from messing with her a little more."Well, The Hokage has a whole village to protect, If we went to war with Kiri then imagine how many lives would be lost. He would have to make the decision to protect the village over a single person." He said calmly and seriously as if contemplating the possibility of it. As if he wasn't talking about him being the one dying."But it could be nothing..."

Kirigakure had a reputation and they were not exactly on friendly terms with the village. What if they were using this opportunity as a means of starting something with Konoha. That was the reality of the Shinobi world and his little rant served to draw her into his deception even more. Jae did not want to believe that the Hokage was the type of man to send his Shinobi out on the chopping block without looking into the matter at all. "The Hokage isn't that type of man and you know that!" She said in the old mans defense. She cherished the Hokage and cared about him dearly. She knew he was a village leader first and foremost and could have a darker side to him but he had been nothing short of kind and patient with her. Much more than she deserved. He was not that type of man. There was no way she would believe it. Jae released her hold on the clone and took a small step back, still making up her mind whether or not to go after Noctis and stop him from just going along without a fight. She owed him, he had saved her life and she would use this as her excuse to repay him. "If he dies so do you!" She said, throwing that at him as if to shut him up. Jae was still in panic mode as she deliberated whether or not to go after Noctis. She turned her body slightly then, preparing to speed off. Her muscles tightened, a sharp stab of pain reminding her that she wasn't fit to even attempt such speedy movements just yet. She had to do something. "I'll bring him back then!" She stated, her shoulders shaking somewhat.

The clone looked over at Jae when she said the Hokage wasn't that kind of man."You never know...sometimes drastic times call for drastic measures."He raised an eyebrow and shrugged at her when she spoke of him dying as well."I lived a good life, besides shinobi's aren't expected to live long."He said as if it didn't really matter to him, though what he said was true he did live a good life in accordance to him. He had a student, kids, a mother for them. What more could a man ask for? When she appeared to be going to go after him he was about to stop her. The original probably wouldn't be too pleased with him. But she seemed to be incapable of moving on her own. His face soften a bit as he smiled, it did seem like she worried about him.He went over and placed a hand on her shoulder."Don't worry about him, Maybe the old man decided to retire and name Noctis the next Hokage! that'll really piss the original off!"He said sarcastically, though being the Hokage probably wouldn't sit too well with Noctis. Lots of work.
