Kochava's gaze locked on Lynx's for an instant before he shifted it so he was looking at a space a hairsbreadth from her ear. He was trained to make eye contact, but he felt it would be too forward of him to do so at the moment, seeing as he was no longer a soldier, but an apparent slave.

Lynx the girl gave a small sigh and flopped onto the couch, pulling a hand through her hair. "its good to be home~" she hummed, stretching out as she obviously started to relax. she'd been on edge ever since she'd left the sanctuary of her place; thinking about those who were after her.... What has come over me?
What madness taken hold of my heart?
To run away, the only answer
Pulling me away, to fall upon

Kochava stayed standing, shifting to parade rest out of habit. "Is there anything you want me to do, k'regah? Ah, slikha, sorry. I meant to say, at the moment."

Kochava nodded and strode over to sit beside her, leaving space between them so he wouldn't be tempted to try anything. Not that he would in any case. He'd been brought up to do nothing to a woman that she did not want.
