Dangerous DivaAttack roll: 2 d6 Damage: 1HP: 12/12 Seriously, why was that ghoul trying to attack her!? Was she--gasp--jealous? The Diva looked Taryn up and down, eyes still half-lidded, and scoffed as she tossed her head. She didn't say anything, but that scoff was probably enough. Look how...how red she was! Didn't she know that pink was the in color these days?
The boil wasn't wearing any pink either, but she could forgive his because he wasn't wearing very much at all. She eyed the summoned guitar with a smile, pressing the back of her hand against her forehead. "My, you want to serenade me? You really don't have to, but--what am I saying. Go ahead, darling. I'll dance while you play the music!"
Back to twirling. This time, she accidentally kicked poor Taryn.

...oh no she didn't! Taryn pointed rather sternly at the door, demanding that the ghoul (was it a ghoul?) exit. No strange pink chicks with questionable fashion sense were going to get serenaded today!
HEY. SHE'D JUST BEEN KICKED. Defiant little--
"YOU. OUT. BEFORE WE RIP YOU APART!" Hello, angry Taryn. It'd been a while!

"Fine," Roch said, "I'll play for you." He pulled the strap of his guitar over his shoulder, expecting to kill himself, but not caring. He was getting SERIOUSLY tired of this. He played the A chord, then blinked, shocked that, for the first time, thanks to all his practice, it didn't hurt.
Him, that is.

Dangerous DivaAttack roll: 2 d6 Damage: 0HP: 0/12 The Diva had been about to yell back at Taryn--how dare this ghoul raise her voice at her!--but she never got the chance. One minute, she was fine, and the next?
That chord Roch played hurt, and it wasn't just her ears either. Everything was hurting. She didn't even get to chance to say anything before she suddenly collapsed, the spot where she had been standing sparkling briefly before she dissipated altogether.

Taryn pointed hard at the floor where the dancer had sparkled and disappeared. She dissipated! Like a glittery Halloweener!
"What. was that," she hissed, looking up at Roch. She'd have to use fire or something next time. She hadn't been any help at all...
Whatever that had been, it was definitely not native to Halloween.

"... Annoying?" Roch offered. "Close and lock the door, I'm going to take a shower," he said, heading back into the bathroom as if that really hadn't done much at all.

...but! Agh, Roch wasn't taking this nearly as seriously as it needed to be taken. Taryn huffed and plopped down to sit on his bed. This was all very strange and very worrisome... and Roch wanted to take his shower. Aghk!
As a second thought, she did in fact get up and lock the door. Hopefully these things couldn't phase through walls...

Fifteen minutes passed and Roch stepped out of the bathroom, wearing a towel around his waist. "I forgot to get some clothes," he said sheepishly, crossing the room and crouching down to get some clothes out of the duffel bag by the door. "Any more visitors?" he asked her curiously. "Doesn't smell like pixie dust."
Seriously, Roch? Shouldn't you be more concerned?

Taryn clapped both of her hands over her eyes when the door opened again, maintaining some of her own dignity as well as giving Roch some privacy. She spoke with her face covered and her head turned down at nothing.
"No, nothing else. I think we need to get out of here fast, though. We've gotten ourselves in a corner."

"Eh, if they die that easy it ain't that big a deal," Roch said, heading back to the bathroom with his clothes. He opened the door a second later and the sound of a blowdryer going off filled the room. "Ahhh, jack I feel better," he said with a sigh as he came out, fully dressed and his hair fixed.
"But c'mon, let's go look around," he said, grabbing the coat that was hanging on the back of the desk chair. He hesitated as he saw the sleeve, then dug through his drawers, pulling out a piece of leather and slipping it into the sleeve, where it velcro'd into place.
Then he pulled the coat on.

Not only did Roch take longer to do his hair than Taryn, he was also more stylish. The ghoul was seriously questioning her libido's taste in boils. She nodded and stood, her hands off her eyes, and started to follow Roch out. She made sure to close the door behind them, lest Roch come back to a room full of glitter.

"Like my coat?" he asked her with a grin. "It's got a hood!" he bragged, happily. "I was tired of freezing every time I went outside, but if I gotta save one of the twins I gotta be able to take that patch out, see?" he told her. "And--" He dug through the pockets, "Gloves!" he bragged. "Ah... My granddad's ghoulfriend got it for me," he admitted a bit sheepishly. "There should be more studs and stuff, but at least she fixed the sleeve for me when I asked."

Seriously? Was Roch really bragging about his coat right now? Taryn was somewhat lost on the mention of patches but didn't care enough to ask. They had just been assaulted by a twirling mass of pink, and Roch wanted to talk fashion.
"Where should we go...?" Yes, keep him on task!

"I figure we should search the barrier," he said. "Let's see if there's any weak points, you know, so we can get out of here and get someone to help." If that was even possible. But hell, he didn't want to go to the theater, and now that he was bundled up, exploring sounded entertaining!
He headed up the stairs and out of the reaper dorm, holding out his hand to her as they reached the door. It was snowing, and he didn't want either of them getting lost in it.

"Alright," Taryn nodded. As long as they were out and actively trying to figure things out or at least look around, she was content. This wasn't just any other day... in fact, it was pretty scary, but she imagined that Roch's cool demeanor was probably helping her panic less. Panic never helped the situation. As they reached the front door, Taryn took the reaper's hand without question. She really, really didn't want to get separated.
