If Parthenope thought he would be able to escape, he had been wrong. Terra Firma had stood in her place for a few moments, swaying from side to side as she examined her prey, drips of black falling and melting onto the ground. It was almost as if she were not going to do anything, the youma hesitating...
...except perhaps she was merely waiting, since within the next second there was a horrible, squelching noise and the long black tresses of her hair were suddenly shooting outwards, the tar-like substances twining around the legs and arms of the brown haired senshi. Terra Firma yanked backwards, heaving Parthenope towards her and then took a step forward so that she could look more closely at him, leaving a trail of black tar as she moved.
"Terra Firma..." she breathed out, and swayed again.
The massive, goat footed leg of Akeel pressed down on the chest of its prey, Victoria clearly uncomfortable beneath him. The magenta haired senshi had already whimpered for help, which made the youma toss his head in amusement, snorting and grunting through thick, fleshy bull lips.
"Akeel?" he muttered, as though asking a question, but then he tilted his enormous head back and roared, the sound loud and echoing through their heads. There was a clank as the gold ring through his nostrils swung and the youma bent down, its head slamming down so that the two large horns on either side were effectively pinning Victoria in place, the top of the youma's head barely half an inch from his chest.
"A...keel..."
Fortuna's aim had been true - Metis was now stumbling along with her fingers pressed against her head, looking desperately one way first, than another, as though trying to see something.
Trying to see anything.
A smile stretched across the red painted lips of the youma, the two eyes below the third remaining closed as she hovered closer to the brunette, tilting her head. The third eye, however, bright and disgustingly blue, swiveled this way and that, fixating on its prey.
"Fortuna," crooned the youma, and swam lazily in the air around Metis, laughing lightly.
"Fortunaaaaa..."
The grin that stretched across Cherie's face as Egeria squealed in pain was one of pure pleasure. The little youma hopped around in a circle, looking delighted, and threw one of the balls in her hand to the other, juggling all three carefully and quickly. Her eyes never moved from the teal haired senshi, however, Cherie instead swinging sideways as though playing some sort of game.
"Cherie!" she giggled, and jumped up and down excitedly. "Cherie!"
The grin turned into a maniacal one. The youma's fingers tightened ever so slightly on her precious weapons, and then she was throwing them again, pelting Egeria with as much force as she could.
"Hee hee!"

(OOC Note: Desu's internet is crapping out, so she has requested to be skipped over. She will try to get posts in when she is able to <3 )
For a moment, Iris almost felt like she might have done something good. A couple vines were sliced away, withering into black dust the moment they were freed from the Kanna's body. However, then more vines grew back in the injured areas.
"Crap in a hat!"
That was an appropriate response. And as the youma seemed to retaliate by tossing both *********> and Hygiea into the air, the yellow suited senshi repeated the phrase again. "Crap in a hat!" The senshi hadn't quite seen the attack that had been thrown in her direction, so she didn't realize the danger was even greater than she had anticipated. However, she wasn't about to let the youngest of the team get chucked around like some sort of rag doll. Crashing after such a throw would cause a lot of damage. No matter how much she wanted to keep her magical attack going for more strikes against other youma, the captain couldn't risk accidentally burning a fellow teammate.
So the hand which had been clenched tightly about the colored light opened up, banishing the attack until she needed to summon up the energy again. With that, Iris jumped up, intercepting the chibi senshi and guardian cat, wrapping her arms around them both for a rather awkward catch.
It was as she was in the air, mid-catch, that she felt the large blade-like scale collide with her back. "FFFFFFFFFFFF*CK!" she grunted out, still gripping onto Hygiea (and crew) as they all landed on the ground.
"Are you okay?" the cat asked out almost meekly.
Grunting slightly as she remained huddled over the child for a moment, she uttered "Eh... I'll live..." She attempted a grin, but found her face felt a bit numbed, so the expression might not have been everything it should have. Her face actually looked a bit drained of color at the moment.
Eventually, she released the child and backed up, straightening up and taking a look about. Several of the senshi were in varying levels of danger. Taking a deep breath and leaving Chamela's scale in her flesh, the senshi mustered up what energy she could to her right hand.
"Iris Rainbow Ribbon!" she shouted as she summoned the weaker of her attacks, then flung the paler ribbon of light towards Eunomia's opponent, Jagder. She hoped the ribbon would latch on like a lasso to any part of the strange feline-like youma. If she was successful, she was going to tug and jerk in an effort to buy Eunomia some time to escape from her opponent.

Victoria, was struggling to try and get lose attempting to use anything he could manage to make the brute move. He couldn't quite reach anything that might make the youma stop.
He paused when it sounded like there was a question and a clank from some sort of jewelry. The magenta haired senshi was too busy trying to wiggle his way free to process much in the way of a plan. He flinched however, when the beast's head slammed down pinning him.
Vicks' eyes grew wide as he stared what the hell was he suppose to do? He paused before moving his hands attempting to beat the brute off of him. They were the only thing he dared move and he could reach it's head quite easily so he attempted to give the minotaur a headache the size of texas. That was until a thought popped into his head. There was a nose ring.... Vick's hands moved towards that ring and he attempted to grab and pull with all the might he could muster while being trapped.

Egeria just screamed. One ball hit her, then another but she rolled out the way before the third hit her and so she did the only thing that made sense at that moment and screamed as loudly as she could. No one liked kids screaming, it was one of those noises that just hurt your ears, she had been told off for it before and now seemed a good time to find out if youma's had ears.
She sat up where she was, bruises already starting to show and just screamed. It wasn't like an attack or anything but a distraction maybe. She wasn't sure but it just seemed the right thing to do. There was little else she could do, she couldn't get anywhere near the youma that was attacking her because of the balls! She had seen Victoria get trapped, Hygiea she saw get thrown and she thought ********* was thrown too but it wasn't so easy to see the cat. So she sat there screaming and waiting because she knew that more balls would be heading her way soon.

Eunomia yelled and kicked at the youma in all her being played with, but she took the first opportunity to try and scramble back away from Jagder, even shakily getting to her feet. One of her arms hung limply at her side and she struggled to use the other to lightly touch the damage left by the youma's claws. For all her savage struggling, she hadn't withstood Jagdar's toying very well.
"Thanks," She breathlessly called out to Iris, but it was flat, and fairly hopeless. If she couldn't dodge the thing before, she definitely wasn't going to be any kind of speedy now.
Egeria's screaming pulled her out of her own pain and tuned her into the plights of her teammates around her. Struggling to think of what to do, besides be a piece of meat, she ended up struggling to perform the motions to cast an attack.
"Eunomia's Good Order!" She shouted, firing a blast of blue energy straight towards Cherie, that, if it hit, would at least slow the thing down for a few seconds. And that was it; She couldn't contribute any more to this battle. She was utterly useless, even as she became even further aware of the others' suffering too, there wasn't anything she could do.
After that, she gave up on the struggle to stay standing and moving and sunk down to one knee. It was hard to stay motivated to keep pushing when the only thoughts that flooded her head were pain, pain, more pain, their pain, her pain, and maybe even doom. Were they going to go out in a glorious display of blood and guts to the tune of holiday music?
Worst. Death. Ever.

"Iris!" Hygiea screeched out when the blonde's arms found their way around her smaller body and the trio landed hard on the ground.
Well, it kind of beat still being in the air and also being crushed by vines; there had been more and no amount of squirming was seeming to do any effect. And for the briefest of moments she thought someone had managed to free her... but no, the floral youma just rocketed her and ********* into the air.
It took a moment for her brain to process and get back into the now, all she could think of in the air was to curl into a ball and protect ********* and now they had found themselves on the ground once again. Iris seemed hurt even though she claimed to be fine. Egeria was screaming, Eunomia was attacking someone as were the others.. trying to fend off the youma who seemed to be doing their worst. Hygiea was glancing about from scene to scene as fast as she could trying to figure out where to go.
This was frustrating! She had no attacks! Hygiea growled low, this was totally annoying! Her powers were totally useless and she had been flung across the baseball field practically and everyone was being attacked and ********* was hurt!
"Urg!" She grunted, tightening her hold on the cat. "Hold on *********." She told her, picking the closest youma to her vicinity and going head first towards it at ramming speed.

********* ended up sticking around for the ride for just a bit longer with Hygiea. It was a bumpy ride, and in all honesty, the cat couldn't help but feel a bit squished at the moment. Yet once the child had found herself a new target to try and focus her childish energy at, the manx managed to squirm her way out of the youngster's arms, landing solidly upon her paws on the field.
The child probably wouldn't be able to stop and turn around as quickly as the feline had escaped, and in all honesty the manx did not expect her to. Instead, she called to the girl as she continued to run forward "Keep doing what you can... I'll be fine, but if someone on the team looks injured... please help them, Hygiea! No hesitation!"
Though she wasn't moving as fast as she usually could, the animal managed to scurry onwards to try and assist any of the other senshi on the team. Various girls were in dangerous situations of their own, but the one with Victoria had demanded her attention. It almost looked as if Akeel was about to gore the poor boy!
As quickly as her little legs and her throbbing back would allow, the little animal made her way up to the strange minotaur. Standing towards the side so she wouldn't hit Victoria with a direct blast of energy, the manx called out in a cheery tone "I hope you enjoy ********* Special Surprise!" The star upon her forehead seemed to glow with a faint twinkle to the edge of it, then a large blast of energy was shot straight into the minotaur's head focused directly at his bovine ear.

Metis couldn't find anyone by touch, and so she remained still. A horrible idea with so many youma running around and people getting hurt all around, but it was that or stumble around blind. She could hear a few attacks being called out, people yelling and even that stupid minotaur roaring. But what mainly caught her attention was laughter. The brunette took a hesitant step backwards, aware of some particular laughter getting a bit closer. Was the youma going for another target? Was Irene okay? She heard Iris swearing and bit her lip. Curse this stupid white vision!
--So much for another target. Fortuna was louder now that she was so close to Metis, and she shuttered. Her skin prickled at the presence of the youma, and when she realized the "woman" was floating around her, she forced herself to remain still. Maybe she could hear the youma if she tried to attack? It didn't seem like she was doing anything more threatening than floating... for now.
Her fists balled, and Metis did wonder if it'd be worth to at least try to punch the youma. White still flared around in her mind's eye, and she about took a stance to try fighting blind... when other colors began to seep into her vision. Her eyes blinked a few times, reflex. Copper, green, and most importantly, black. Metis shook her head a few more times, and took another awkward step back. Maybe the youma could think she was still blind? Her eyes didn't shift in Fortuna's direction at least. But the moment she thought the blue youma might be close enough, Metis lunged quick as she could with her fist aimed right for Fortuna's crystal ball. One way or another she would get the damn thing back for blinding her!

Irene was not okay. Irene was trying her hardest not to think about the needles that were still stuck in her, because she knew that would make them hurt even more.She could barely see, her vision clouded with black and white spots that faded in an out of existence. She couldn't quite tell what was going on, who was okay and who wasn't. If her teammates were still fighting, she didn't want to use her magic only for it to protect the youma instead. And it looked like most of them were, like her, still managing to put up a fight. Somehow.
It was all the reassurance she was going to get, and all she really needed. From her limited perspective, it looked like everyone was holding their own, and she wanted to help. Steeling herself for another clash, she turned back to Needla. And just in time, since the monster was coming towards her like a cannonball. With a yelp, Irene darted out of the way, but she stepped badly and tumbled to the ground. And here she had thought she'd mastered the high heels, she thought bitterly, her hands reaching for her twisted ankle. The impact had snapped a few of the needles that remained in her skin, leaving the barbs behind, and it had given her some new scratches and bruises, but that was far better than what would have happened had she not gotten out of the way.
That was the good news. The bad news was that with one leg practically out of commission, Irene didn't have any more last-second dodges in her, and the youma would certainly come back for her once it realized this.

With Parthenope still entangled within the tar-like substance of Terra Firma's hair, there wasn't much else for the youma to do, except to drag him closer and peer down at him, a toothless mouth made from black goo stretching into a maniacal smile.
Prey caught.
At the touch of Victoria's hands and the sudden, unexpected yank, combined with the enormous blast that seared across his face, Akee gave a horrible, half-strangled roar of pain, jerking his head away from the senshi. He staggered backwards, his furred chest heaving, and tossed his massive head, the pumped breaths escaping through fleshy lips clearly visible in the cool night air.
"Akeel," he hissed, red eyes glowing with rage as he stared at the magenta haired senshi and the little cat that stood beside him.
"Akeel."
Fortuna was enjoying this far too much, revolving slowly around Metis like a jungle cat encircling her prey. Her blue eye remained fixed upon the senshi as though it would be physically painful to look away, though her two normal eyes remained shut, her hands still moving continuously over and around the crystal ball she held in her lap.
She wasn't, however, expecting the senshi to lunge towards her.
With a raspy gasp, Fortuna jerked the crystal ball away, just out of reach and just in time to receive the full brunt of Metis' fist against her side, rather than on her precious possession. Fortuna let out a shriek, tumbling sideways as all three eyes flew open, staring down at the senshi and breathing rather heavily.
"Fortuna - " she snapped out in fury, cheeks reddened as she clutched the crystal ball to her chest. Her hands had started to move again, smoothing over the surface.
The screaming caught Cherie off guard. She stopped skipping, turning wide eyes towards Egeria as though confused by her actions.
"Cherie?" she questioned, and then her expression shifted, becoming more irritated. "Cherie! Cherie!"
The squawked, impatient sounds were clearly ones of annoyance, the little youma gathering up her weapons again into her arms and preparing to throw them.
Except something slammed into her side, a shriek escaping Cherie's pale pink lips as something blue and hot seared into her. She staggered sideways, gasping and crying, her skirt singed up to the waistband.
Dark eyes turned towards the one responsible, rage filling the tiny youma's face.
"CHERRRIIIEEE!" came the wrathful scream. "CHERRRIEE!"

Chamela watched as her blade struck Iris, letting out a shrill squeal of delight. She wasn't going to leave it at that, though, even if Iris still seemed intent on ignoring her.
How very rude.
Lifting her tail, now languid and curling in the air like a cat's, she called her scale back to her, which meant it would be wrenched out of Iris' back regardless of damage dealt. It wasn't sentient, not like its barely lucid master, so it just responded to the impulse to get back to Chamela as fast as possible.
Jagder did not like being pulled back like some kind of common house animal. her every instinct was to rebel against the idea that someone else was trying to control her. No one controlled her: she set the rules of the game. Her game, her hunt.
She snarled as Eunomia tried to run off, wrenching herself free of the hold when it faded and charging after her target like a lioness on the hunt of something that had already gotten away once. She wasn't going to fail a second time, damn it.
Kanna seemed just fine now that her vines had grown back in. She watched impassively as the senshi and cat collided, and something seemed to be happening amongst them. It was not really her concern.
She moved to follow Hygiea, seeing the girl running, lashing out with her vines once they were close enough to one another. This time she didn't use them to grab, but rather as long, thick whips. She was attacking, though she still hadn't said much beyond some very soft sounds lost under the fray. Her face hadn't changed, either.
Needla might not have been the brightest in the bunch, but she did see that Irene had hurt herself, and turned around to come back and get her. She was definitely going to seize her advantage if her opponent was down: why waste the chance?
Even if it was a little unsafe for her. She was growing more and more confident.
"Needla, need!" She bellowed as she came charging back over, preparing to throw her needly self at the fallen senshi. A hug from Needla was never a good thing.

That moment when the Rainbow Ribbon vanished.
It had everything to do with Chamela's summoning of that bizarre scale that was lodged in Iris' shoulders. It was jerked rather suddenly from its place, causing the tomboy to lurch forward, loosening her grip on the ribbon. Such would allow Jagder to resume her hunt of Eunomia.
Hopefully her teammate had managed to use that brief reprieve to get the hell away from that funky furry.
The eternal senshi still couldn't help but snort out a bitter "Damn!" She'd already used a decent amount of energy. One Slicer and one Ribbon gone, which meant she had one Ribbon left, and one use of her Revenge. Those odds weren't very promising at all. If she was the careful sort, she might have tried to reserve those attacks for an emergency.
However, the horrific roar of Akeel ruined any chances of Iris being careful. With a grunt, the blonde straightened herself up, then rushed towards where Victoria and *********> were cornered. With a cry of "Iris Rainbow Ribbon," she flung the lasso of light towards the youma's large horns. With as strong of a yank as she could manage, she tried to derail the strange minotaur from focusing on the redhead. "If ya want a real fight... gimme a shot, ya dumb Bull!" she taunted.
Without saying a word to Victoria, she tried to motion her head in a manner that screamed out "Get going while I have it distracted!"
The cat, however, would not be taking that sort of clue. Instead, she found her way to Iris' white boots. The fur on her back was matted down from the blood from her previous injury. It wasn't too bad, but it didn't mean that it didn't hurt or that it wasn't annoying to have her fur sticking down in such a manner.
Awkwardly, the eternal senshi leaned forward and scooped up the small animal in her free hand, lifting her up so she could talk to the guardian. "*********... I need a favor... think yer up for it?"
With absolute sincerity and a kindhearted smile, the manx replied "I'd do anything and everything I was possibly able to for any of my girls, Iris."
There wasn't a smile upon Iris' face, for the situation was growing far too grim for any sort of optimistic expression to linger upon her lips. "...I need you to get the attention of the youma again... just like before..." Dipping down, she almost seemed to chuck the guardian away from her. "Get a head start... go!"
With a slight jingling sound, the manx began to move as fast as she could, abandoning the baseball diamond and moving outward to the outfield.

Victoria squeaked as Akeel jerked his head away in pain and staggered backwards. His skateboard lay on top of him in ruins but he wasn't going to think on that for the time being. He scrambled up trying to get into a fighting position.
This would help right? Right.... He paused when suddenly a rainbow seemed to latch onto the beast's horns. He was staring how many of those did she actually use? He knew she'd charged right into battle without a bat of the eye.
He paused when he saw her motion to get out of there. "Right." He muttered as he scrambled away towards one of other others in the group not really sure who he could help out if anyone... There was a frown on his face. He didn't know what to do, "Okay, Okay.... We need a plan..." He muttered as he looked around towards everyone. His chest felt pretty bruised now that he was able to be up and moving. He was watching everyone getting their a** kicked, but how do you beat something that.... was unstoppable?
He paused looking around before spotting Irene. She seemed to be in trouble and hurt, he started moving towards her and the pin cushion that was Needla. He pondered, if only his board hadn't broken. "Leave her alone!" He moved quickly to put himself in between the two of them aiming a kick towards Needla. Of course this was going to end in nothing but pain as Victoria felt the needles dig into his foot.

True to ********* thinking, Sailor Hygiea wasn't able to do much after ********* wiggled her way out of the death grip. The little senshi's arms had flailed and tried to grab at the cat but it was much too late and her flapping arms could only help in keeping balance from the sudden rocking in her running.
Which was leading her unknowingly right towards Kanna, the youma who had set its sights on her earlier. Well, that was rather convenient. Orange eyes turned their attentions back on the leafy monster just in time as the vines began to swing towards her violently. A quick dodge allowed her to escape at least one strike but even managing to dance around that almost landed her right into another set of aggressive vines, causing her to trip and fall hard to the ground with a roll.
"Aa!" Hygiea gasped, covering her head in her arms as she pulled herself into a little ball and continued to roll [still towards Kanna] in a half assed barrel roll kind of way, while obscenities flew from her lips.

Egeria stopped screaming in time to see that the youma after her and changed it's plan.
"NO YOU DONT." Was pretty much what she shouted as she stormed right up to the youma, hands on hips and screamed some more in it's face while kicking and hitting it with all the strength her small body had left.
She wouldn't stop screaming.
However if you listened closely there were words in the screaming, words that had been learnt from one in their group. In fact Iris seemed to have taught Egeria quite a few words that she screamed at the youma as she kicked and hit it, ignoring the fact it still had those balls in it's hands. She wanted it dead, she wanted it to hurt and to stop hurting her friends and she would scream and hit till she could no more... in a dramatic way of course.
