Why bother putting the trans* part in the LGBTQ when talking of subjects like this when it doesn't even pertain to the trans* community. It's honestly like the Gays only care to fight for their rights and the Trans* have to fight for their own. This isn't a community.

As for what you were going on about, it might just be that since it's implied, people expect the last 3 or so letters to be covered in a tacit manner when concerning a gay issue.

I'm slightly hostile towards the Lesbian and Gay community at the moment, that's where this stemmed from. I understand though.

Rick, deary, that's not how you win an election. Also, children DO celebrate Christmas in schools - they just don't celebrate CHRISTmas.

Just an update seeing as someone mentioned Bachmann I think; she just ended her presidential campaign due to extremely low vote in the Iowa caucases (only 5%). Perry is still in the running but he also did horribly (10%). Hope it's some good news. smile

You're right, she dropped out.
Part of me is thrilled, she clearly hates gays and the clinic her husband runs is considered dangerous to the mental health of gays.
But I'd be happier if we had a republican candidate that was reasonable, had a chance of getting the nomination and didn't hate gays. sad

The GOP doesn't want to win anymore. That's why they put out nutjobs out on the forefront. They're a joke.

Thing is, people will vote for the GOP candidate.
