Personally, I have never taken any anti-depressants. I do know that they can cause strokes, and sometimes heart attacks so be careful if you take them.

I don't like the thought of having to take pills that say "Anti-Depressants" on them..... I mean, what if you want to be depressed because you just do and then they force you to take these pills that are also called "happy pills"......I mean, come on!
I would refuse to take them myself, but that's because I can control my depression for the most part
if you're like, manically depressed, then you SHOULD take them, but if you're not, then you don't have to

Yeah. I honestly dont want to take them. But I really find it hard to control my depression. It terorizes me. ANyway, even though I dont want to, my mom makes me. So whatever.

hmmmm, I've been on them for about a year and 1/2...and they help, except for sometimes...but you really can't expect them to keep you in a good mood 24/7, that would just be ridiculous!
thats my opinion...not really much of one...ok so lets change that...
thats what i have to say about anti depressants. 3nodding

I think anti depressent's should only be given to the 'drasically needy.' Such as masocist's for instance. Somthing's wrong when they feel as if thats there only source of comfort. Of course, there are many other reasons why people should have them... But then again, this medicine is not a cure, but a nullifier of the true things that roam our minds. I used an unknown anti-depressent, it was some time ago, but I do recall it changed my out look on life entirely, and well...I in truth I can accept life for what it is... 'harsh.' I think anti-depressents are there for the people that cant handle reality.

anti-depresants are bad. they tried to putme on those they'll never take me alive! seriously they stuck me in a room with a psychiatrist and I didn't even talk to him and he said I was depressed. What kind of bullshit is that.

Most psych's are crazy too. Crazy people make the best ones. My mom hates it when I call them happy pills. I take mine for a plethora of problems. But only when I am going to be in a high risk situation. They keep the pimples away xd I hate pills evil

I've been experimenting with different anti-depressants since age 11. I do believe that my diagnosis of major depression (among other things) is correct, and I do believe that I need the medication. I've responded differently to the various drugs, and what's worked best for me is Prozac, though I'm currently on a new hybrid whose name I forget. Oh, and Tom Cruise is a ******** moron.
