Hikari felt her whole pelt get warm out of embrassment because this didn't look right since she was pinned by the 'womanizing' lion king. She quickly used her hind legs and kicked him off, looking to the other lionness with her ears lowering against her head because they were staring. Quickly she got to her paws not going to let Manaba get another change to pin her down before and batted his ear showing she wasn't really mad but was done playing because almost every lioness was looking at them and she didn't want to give them the wrong idea.

Manaba was not expecting to be thrown off the way he did. The moment back paws met his stomach, the king stiffened as he was kicked off. Not truly landing on his feet, he landed hard on his crippled back leg. Growling he bared his teeth, not at Hikari, but his leg as he swung his furred head around to look at it. Lifting it, it was already becoming swollen. Quiting his growling he looked up to Hikari in question. That was when he shyed away at swipes to his ear. Was Hikari mad? Close examination showed she wasn't. Green eyes looked at the faces of the other lionesses. Oh that was why. Ears flattened against his mane. Huffing, Manaba tried not to limp as he started to head up to the kings den towards the top of pride rock. Looking back for a second he noticed the other lionesses were looking straight at him. Growling he turned and continued his way back up before he entered the rock den. Manaba was starting to consider not changing at all. Well, he'd have to figure something out. Sleep on it.

The brown lioness turned on her heels and rushed away into the warm tall grass of the savannah deciding that one more walk around the pridelands wouldn't hurt even if she was tired and just wanted to rest. She needed to think somethings over before speaking to Manaba again.

Musa wanted to call out to the Outcast lioness, but his mouth was covered by Abaeze's tail as she shushed and hustled him to where the maidens laid watching Manaba play around again. Musa didn't understand the king. He acted on way on some days and another way on other days. The way the king had acted just a moment ago, before padding into his den, made the young lion curious. He didn't want to grow up like him, but he wanted to be a great leader so that his sister wouldn't have to worry and work so hard anymore like Ayita. Then his thoughts when to the king's injured leg. The dark male acted like it was nothing, but the cub knew it was best to never ignore an injury, no matter how small it may seem or if it was old.
The lioness, whose fur looked like storm clouds with sunlight streaming through them, wondered how Hikari could stand being in the king's presence for so long. They needed to get working instead of fooling around. After she made sure her little brother was securely in the paws of the maidens, Abaeze followed Ayita into the pridelands, though she was far behind the head huntress. Guess I'll have to follow her scent instead, she thought as she left Pride Rock for the great plains of her pride's territory.

Inside the King's den, Manaba strode to the very back of the large rocky cave. The flate slab of rock where the great King Simba once rested, along with any great king, or kings, the younger lion layed. It was the coolest stone in the entire den. Resting easily, he tried not to put too much pressure onto his injured limb. Sleep would reduce the swelling and when it was down, Manaba could check it out. For now, he was going to take a nap. He hadn't slept much the night before to begin with, but the stress of the day wore him out. Yawning, nice pretty sharp fangs were greeted with cool air. Shutting his maw, he rested his head apon his paws. The dark mane of the shade he shared with his sister, blended it with the color of the dark background. All you could really see was the dark brown of his fur, or bright green eyes. Until they were shut. "Let's see what I'll dream of..." Good question.

Hiraki began her stroll as she began towards the pridelands where she knew that it was peaceful, well half the time, and she could relax in the warm sun as it hit her brown pelt.

Musa made sure that everyone was gone and Manaba was soundly asleep before he climbed down the stones of Priderock. He took one extra glance around before he scampered off through the safari. He felt like he was old enough to adventure around. Why did he have to be stuck with the grumpy maidens and the boring cubs when thrilling adventures were just within his reach? Grinning, the mud-colored cub sprinted ahead, paying no mind as to where he was going. All he cared about was having some fun.

The first to appear at the might rock was Ayita. Whom the others seemed to notice was not her normal self. The green eyes they all loved glanced there way and moved directly away. Keeping to herself, the lioness moved towards a spacious flat rock a bit away from the others. Mumbling something, she flopped down. Head on her paws she took in a deep breath. The little mud colored cub was lucky the head huntress wasn't on his tail. She would not be the nicest lioness. He would probably hate her for the rest of his life. She'd voice her opinion much later. Much much later. Right now it was time for her eyes to slowly close so she may relax. Things were just not going right today. Thoughts crossed her mind of the male in the graveyard. Who was he? Why would he be with the hyenas. So many thoughts in one crammed skull.
Arriving at Priderock was a bit of a task, Soyali still watching over Abaeze's broken and bloody form. She'd wish to find her scared younger brother and make sure he was okay. So, the Kind King gave the lioness some much needed space. Moving away with a last glance to make sure in his head he thought she would be alright. Of course she would be. There was a strong soul in that body. Much like a few others of the pride. Huffing out a breath, the king was to turn his attention to another lioness. Of course, she had to be lounging. Meant to not disturb her. His job would have to wait for earlier.

[Enter Abaeze and Musa from the Elephant's Graveyard.]
Musa appeared out from behind a small pile of rocks that most of the cubs used to hide behind when they first walked. He was unharmed, but his mind was not. He was scared, scared for his older sister. His eyes scanned the space in front of his home, looking for his sister. When he saw her lithe form, his heart dropped. She was bloody and weary. She was even limping. Tears started to glazed his eyes, but he held them back. Ears pulled back in guilt, he slowly approached Abaeze from behind the rocks. "Abaeze...?"
Abaeze limped towards the rocks, climbing the stones with some difficulty. Most of her opened wounds had stopped bleeding and now simply stung. Wincing in the pain, she nodded to Soyali, appreciative of his help. Now she needed to focus on finding— "Musa!" The little cub came up to her slowly. She met him with full joy, running painfully up to him with her injured leg. When she heard him say her name, quietly and nearly a whisper. He seemed subdued, but she didn't care because he was unharmed, he was okay. "Oh, Musa, you're all right! I was so worried." She nuzzled the mud-colored fur-ball, and he nuzzled her again, but he wasn't as enthusiastic as he always was. She took no notice of it though because he was okay and alive. All that mattered her her was him. She wrapped her tail around his little body, her blue eyes filled with unshed tears.

It took a while of thinking to clear thoughts that wished were never in that mind. Ayita reopened those emerald hues, seemingly back to normal. That would only be clear with action. Lifting her head, eyes scanned the many fellow family members that was the pride. Catching the sight of a limping Abaeze, the head huntress was rather worried. Until noticing a bright cheery attitude about the way she hobbled around. Trying her bed to run towards a small cautious cub. Musa was still scared, probably feeling guilty at the way his sister looked. Rightfully so. The mud colored pain in the rear learned a lesson, sadly as the expense of his sister's pain. Yawning in a teeth baring action, that maw clamped shut. Continuing to watch the scene a bit aways. When they were done, Ayita would head over and evaluate her long time friend. Those wounds might get infected if not cleaned. Hopefully she'd be alright. It would be harsh and extremely saddening for many, especially Musa, if anything happened to her.
Everything seemed to be alright. Ayita was back, the light in her eyes returned. Abaeze was broken framed but happy to see little Musa. Musa himself was distraught and uncomfortable, tad but out of personality. However, it was understandable for what the cub had caused. Mistakes were learned. There would surely be realization where he was going from now on. Hopefully he learned never to leave Priderock without an adult. Soyali would have to mention to the cub later that if he ever wished to explore, and his sister was out with Ayita, he'd gladly take the cub out for a stroll. Show him the rounds of a king. Since, he could have the potential to be one someday. Only time and experience would tell. He had a long way to go. Maybe Manaba could mature up a tad and learn a few things as well. There was always room for improvement Soyali was always good to saying.

"Are you sure you're all right?" Abaeze asked him once again. Musa nodded and smiled up at his sister, plaster a reassuring look on his face. He needed to see Ayita, get her wounds treated, and rest. Fretting over him was a waste of her time. "I'm all right, sis. I promise. Now, go, I see Ayita looking at you. I bet she's so worried too. You don't look the best." Musa nudged his sister in the direction of the dark lioness, showing his usual stubbornness for her. Abaeze laughed and nodded, licking him on the head before padding—limping—away from him to their pride's huntress. He watched until she was almost in front of the huntress to turn around and pad over to the maidens, his tail limp and dragging behind him. "I'll be fine, and you'll never be hurt because of me again." He swore under his breath, looking back at his sister with guilty behind his amber eyes. Yes, he'd never let her get hurt again because of him.
Abaeze greeted Ayita with a respectful bow of her head, grateful for her help when they rescued Musa. "Hello, Ayita." The lioness took in her head huntress' expression, seeing she had been reeling in her emotions after their expedition. "Musa seems all right. He couldn't wait until spoke with you. I'll have him thank you and Soyali for your help as well." The lioness mused, a smile on her face at making her head-strong brother apologize to the siblings.

The way the siblings acted was a perfect example of family love. It brought a cheery mood to the giant of a lioness. Though, it was a little bit of a laugh seeing Musa sort of push his larger sister in her direction. Ayita set her head on her crossed paws, watching with interest. When her fellow lioness slowly and sadly limped her way over, Ayita stood and welcomed her friend with a gesture she hadn't done to any lion in a long time. Immediately bowed her own head, mostly to inspect her long time friend. "I'm glad the cub is alright. You however sadden me." Abaeze was bloody and cut in a lot of places. Surely places she wouldn't be able to reach herself. This was a problem. Abaeze would not be able to leave the rock until she was almost fully healed. If she tried leaving, Ayita would take care of her herself. "YOu my friend are almost beyond simple repair. Can you manage to bend to clean your wounds?" Tilting her head to the side, eyes glanced over her friend.

Abaeze chuckled, though she winced it pain from her injuries. "I haven't tried yet..." She shrugged, wincing once more as she moved her body. She turned her head to look down her body and felt the stinging pain of her injuries. She heaved a heavy sigh and ambled down onto her side. "No, not the ones in my blind spot. And...I need to fix my back leg. It might be broken." She glanced at her injured left hind leg swollen and angled off to the side. It wasn't suppose to look like that at all.

It was good to see that Abaeze was alright for the most part. Though, looking her over, Ayita was delighted to see that the lioness wasn't in that bad of a shape. Of course the leg was pretty bad. Moving slowly around, the head huntress had seen plenty of disfigured limbs. This was one she was familiar with. "Not broken. Dislocated and sprained." Putting her head down she inspected it a tad. "Tense your muscles." Ayita sat to sit back on her back paws, similar to how a dog begs. Lifting her paws she pressed on the limb. This was going to hurt Abaeze. And the head huntress would probably regret hurting her firned but it was for the good of her leg. If she ever wanted to be able to walk right again. Of course, the fellow lioness might have some issues for now. No hunting for her. Oh no, she's stuck to Priderock.

Abaeze nodded and obeyed her huntress' command. "All right, do it." The lioness braced herself, ready for more pain than she was already feeling at just Ayita touching her injured leg. She'd make sure to shred those hyenas' pelts into ribbons next time they met, and they'd be lucky to still be living when she's done with them.
