He grinned at her. "Okay, and how about I prove to you that playing a real guitar beats pushing buttons to try and keep up with a guitar that's being played by someone else?" he challenged her, bringing his guitar over his shoulder again. Then we'll both see if the other's right. What do you say?"
He tuned his guitar just a bit more, then looked at her expectantly for a reply.

Tahki already some how magically had a game boil in her hands. She'd pulled it out while Roch was telling her what he wanted to do. Buttons pushing? Tahki could do that all day if he wanted. She jumped down from the branch she was perched in and landed.
"Your on ~" Her voice was still very meek and small but there was a bit of a fire of competition laced in there. The game boil was turned on and followed shortly by its greeting chime. Tahki was ready.

"Wait!" he said quickly. "We need to get another guitar for you to try," he said belatedly. "Mine doesn't work for other people. But I can play for you! And you can play and tell me what's NOT button mashing, how's that sound?" he said. "You wanna go first?" he asked, moving to sit next to her. "I can already tell my music's better, though," he said evilly.

Oh no he didn't - Tahki looked up in shock and then frustration. This time she didn't say anything though, but her ears were back a little. Then it struck her that he may have been teasing her. The tension calmed quite a bit.
"Would you do the honors? Since your music is better then mine and all ~ " She was teasing him now. There may have been a cocky little smile stamped on her face.

He laughed at that, then nodded, looking down at his guitar for a moment as he thought about what to play. "Okay, beat this," he said as he started playing Super Colossal. The song rocked through the air, far faster and tougher sounding than the song he'd played at first. He needed a drummer and all that, but he did a really good job just with the guitar.

"B-beat THAT?" The gryphon frowned not sure how he expected her to beat that. But the gryphon started to push buttons on her game boil and made some electric sounding almost technoish sounds from her game. "M-maybe I should actually use an instrument."

He laughed, clearly enjoying his "win." "But it'd have to be some sort of gaming instrument, right? Cuz we're proving that games are better than guitars, right?" he teased. "And that my music was better than yours on that thing," he added, pointing to the game boil with a wicked grin.

"But that doesnt prove much Roch." She squeaked and then put her hand over her mouth. Tahki put the game back in her pouch and revealed drum sticks. "Its like comparing .. umm... Swimming to cloud watching? The activities are different and hard to compare." She gave a nod, " But if you want a music battle..." Was that a drum stick twirl and a cocky grin?

He grinned. "Oh, I'll take a music battle," he told her, leaning forward. "Any time, any place, any style--other than country," he added quickly. "Where's your drums?" he asked, getting to his feet. "Let's do it!"

" Drums umm.." He was right. She was lacking drums. How could you play an instrument with out... she scanned the area and pin pointed two trash cans. Tahki dove out of the tree and glided over to them. With a side kick, she knocked the two down with a loud bang. Trash and a few stray minipets flooded out of the contents. Proudly, Tahki stood over her destruction with her drum sticks read, "You were saying?" Her tail swung from side to side. The predator was ready.

"Alright," he said, grinning evilly. "Then let's see who wins!"
Which, seriously, you didn't win when it was guitar versus drums, but hell, it seemed like an entertaining way to spend the day! Besides, he enjoyed that cocky look of challenge. And either way, this totally gave him another person to hang out with!
"But I'll warn you now, I'm not going to go easy on you," he told her.

"Who said I was asking you to?" She was grinning. And being a bit of an a**. Roch had made her comfortable enough to show this side of her. Yup, there were two sides to this coin.
