Black eyes bore down on her as she stood between him and the exit, absolutely seething. Why did he think it was a good idea to ask her to come with him, again? He couldn't remember.
"No, I'm done." He didn't shove the bat back. Something told him it'd just get pushed back onto him. So he did the next best thing; tossed it over his shoulder, and let it fall where it did. "Hel, I don't want to talk about it. Why is that so hard for you to understand?"

Hel looked dismayed as Mac tossed the bat over his shoulder, and watched as it clattered somewhere behind him.
Her gaze shot back up at him though, and she stood her ground regardless. Never mind she was being a complete hypocrite. She’d be acting just like Mac right now if someone tried prying into her own business. That was the thing about Hel though…to her it was fair game to do it to others. She needed to remember the golden rule, but alas, she did not.
“You know what is hard for me to understand, Mac? It is hard for me to understand why you two are no longer together!” She stomped her foot. “Lizzy…Lizzy would just go on and on and on about you…so smitten she was! I do not understand why you two are split now!”

"You know what's hard for me to understand? Why my friend isn't respecting my wishes and taking her jackdamned nose out of something that I clearly don't want to talk about!" She could stomp her foot all she wanted, but in the end? Mac was aggressively stubborn, and would think nothing of shoving her away if need be.

Sadly, Hel was aggressively stubborn as well. Wah waaah. Too bad.
The reaper scoffed, and placed her hands on her hips as she stared up at him. “It is because I am your friend that I am sticking my nose into your business!” Hel snapped back. “As your friend, I am not going to let you run away from the matter at hand like a coward!” Go ahead Mac, shove her. She’ll shove back.

Hel let out a huff as she stared at Mac’s slumped form, and then stared at her raised fist.
Oops.
Welp…couldn’t get information out of an unconscious person! Hel let out an aggravated sound as she picked the reaper up and carried him back to the dorms over her shoulder. The ghoul was kind enough to dump him on his own bed with an ice pack. She even wrote him a lovely note and stuffed it into one of his jacket pockets.
This isn’t over.
Hel was a good bro.
A good bro that stomped out of the room in a huff and slammed the door shut on her way out.
