He began to take her coat off and Candace eagerly helped, untying his scarf from around his neck and tugging it off to toss away carelessly. "You did, you did." She purred, easing him out of his own coat. Candace wasn't really sure where he was going with this, but there was certainly a direction she'd like for it to go! She'd just go with the flow. Yes. It was like coaxing a cat to come closer when it was scared; one wrong move would send it running back to square ********, she really didn't deserve him. She kissed him again at that thought as if to make herself feel better about how terrible of a person she was right now. Where was this coming from? Just because he was 'feeling crazy'?

"A mistake you make in the heat of the moment." Candace suddenly paused, helplessly stealing one more kiss from Jerry as a hand pressed against his chest and gripped almost desperately at his shirt. A mistake. Right. What if...what if he really wasn't ready and ********. She didn't want him to regret this later. He was too sweet for that.

"Jerry." She paused, stealing another heavy kiss. "What are you doing?" Her tone wasn't accusing or unhappy, simply curious. She needed to know where he was going with this. Getting her hopes up three times was not going to happen.

********, he was so cute when he blushed. Candace giggled and stroked Jerry's cheek with the back of her hand, giving him a small smile as he attempted to explain. "More comfortable for what, honey?" She paused a moment to take off her own gloves and put them aside, settling beside Jerry and snuggling close to him.

Why are you playing stupid? You're going to embarrass him. Candace didn't react with more than just a sweeter smile, pulling Jerry in for another kiss. Because he's too sweet to take complete advantage of. She wanted him to be sure. Candace wasn't usually one for lovey dovey things but she couldn't help but be that way with Jerry.

Candace just stared. Oh no. Hell no. He was not doing this to her again. Despite their need to visit Harrison, yes, Candace was not ready to leave this bed yet. "Baby, Harrion isn't going anywhere." She tugged at his shirt and eventually pushed herself up to leave a few lingering kisses against his throat. "He probably isn't even awake right now. It'd be better to wait until he's awake so he can know you visited." A hand slid up his chest until it was on his shoulder, pressing against it to try and ease him back down.

Even as he protested she was still pressing kisses against his throat, purring as she pulled herself closer to him. Oh, wait. He still wanted that date? Candace pouted a little as he squeaked and jumped, propping herself up with one hand against his chest and her elbow on the bed. "Ah...that's very true. Well, I don't want to do anything you'd regret but..." Maybe they could compromise! Please. Please. Please. Second base at least? Maybe even a little third? Eh? Eh? Karma was testing her.

At his apology about Roar Candace chuckled and nodded, actually blushing a little. "Atropos did that too...but Jerry, honey.." She dragged a finger down his chest, stopping just below his stomach. "There's other things we can do if you want to have fun without...well...going all the way~? Before we finally get a chance for that date?" Candace looked hopeful now. Maybe she could convince him! Even without the date!

He yelped and got out of the bed, leaving Candace there to stare at the wall with a 'you have got to be ******** kidding me' look that eventually fell into a look of defeat. He won. She was done. He had made it clear he didn't want her right now despite how much he had made it seem that way. Candace was ready to accept that she was not going to be getting any satisfaction today except from herself.

She heard papers rustling and rolled over to face Jerry and see what he was up to, watching as the man looked through papers. Wait..he forgot something? What did he forget, exactly? "...Jerry? What are you doing now?" Candace sat up again, looking more curious than upset now. What was he up to?

He was blushing again. While it was cute she was confused as to why he was blushing. Candace tried to get a peek at what was on the paper until he started to..sing? She blinked. Hey! He said s**t! How come he could barely say jerk but he could toss around a word like that no...problem...wait. She didn't know this song. Candace sat up, folding her legs so she was sitting lotus style with her elbows on her knees and cupping her cheeks in her hands. Wow! What a fitting song! Where did he find things like this?

Wait. That...that was her name.

Her eyes widened and her hands slowly fell away from her face as she sat up straight. This..this wasn't just some song Jerry knew because he loved music, it wasn't something from the seemingly endless repertoire of musicals in this man's memory. He was singing...something he wrote? For her? He said her name again and her head throbbed almost painfully in her chest. He wrote a song about her. He was the sweetest, most thoughtful man in the world. When Jerry stopped singing she looked hopeful for more, leaning forward a little. Her eyes had taken on a glassy shine that she was trying to ignore. No. No crying, Candace. Crying is for pansies but oh god she didn't deserve him at all he was so amazing and sweet and just..just...!

"U-unfinished?" She almost whined, clutching her knees tightly. Don't cry. Don't cry. But it was so beautiful. "That...was for me?" Candace couldn't help but smile. "That is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me. That was...I..I don't..." A few tears rolled down her cheeks and she was quick to wipe them away, laughing at her own foolishness. "Ah ha. S-sorry I..it's...I..Jerry oh my god." She couldn't think of what to say!

Candace was still shell shocked. He hadn't written much? He still wanted to write more?! Oh god how did she get this amazingly sweet man to keep her? When he asked her if she liked it she gave a very enthusiastic nod and pursed her lips, wiping her eyes again. "Jerry, I love it. I..I don't...even know what to say it's...that is so..I...y-you'll let me know when there's more?" Doh! Stupid question! It was a song about her of course he'd let her know! Idiot! But..!

She reached out to pull him up close for a tight hug, hiding her face against his neck and clinging tightly to the man. The sweetest, kindest, most thoughtful man in the whole damn world. "Thank you so much, Jerry. "
