Well, since it looked like West was still in a bit of a mood like it differed from the usual? so she took Lark up on the double dance offer. Yew got it, ghoulie. Let's take 'it up on tha ... on tha thing! Yeah!
She took her place on one of the platforms and waited for Lark before choosing the song and settings.

Lark hopped up on the platform and fiddled around with the controls for a brief moment. Unlike many other songs, the one that Lark picked was kind of.. really old. Really old and compared to many of the other DDD songs, pretty slow. Lark didn't give a sheeeeit. She danced her a** off, even singing along in a horribly off-tune voice. Levi was pumped to get it on with Lark. When the tune previewed she thought- Hey, this is pretty good!
But when it came to actually following the song step-by-step, she had trouble keeping to the bat... as it was hard for her to find. The arrows that were appearing just didn't seem to co-ordinate with what she was hearing, so the combos just weren't piling for her. She was lucky to get in the steps that she did. The tatzel spent so much of her time staring at the colorful arrows that the song ends rather abruptly for her.
Eh... reckon I' did 'lright... She scratched at the back of one ear.

There, much better! Chuppi had been watching the others get at it on the game and she thought to try and mimic their steps. An undead boil that had gone before was amazing, his score right up there among the top (if not the top) and Chuppi felt like she wanted to dance as easily as he could. She was pretty glad to see him move and when it came time for her to act she did her best to copy, keeping herself as light on her feet as she possibly could.
The result was a decent score much, much better than her very first, and the monster was pleased. She was no where near as skilled as the two ghouls running around, nor the undead boils, but at least she was holding her own? It must have been quite amusing to watch someone so small try their hand at the game, what with the screen towering over her, but she was hitting the buttons and that's all that mattered.
If she recalled correctly she'd have one more shot for today, but she wanted to wait a bit to see if others around her would go again. Watching them was just as much fun as actually dancing herself.

Oh, that was bad. Not even so bad it was good. Just plain bad.
When he was helped up, it took Mortimer a few seconds to lift up from the fog of public embarrassment (as this surely was) in time to see the last few seconds of the other undead's score. OvO "Wow . . ." Easier level or not, it was still impressive. Once he was sure he was on good standing with his legs, Mort shook the boil's hand.
"V-Very good!" he told him with a shaky smile as he pushed his glasses back up. "A-Alex-Xander. Is Mortimer, Mort is short. Kinda new, b-but not as." He noted the boils torn clothes and discolored skin, as well as . . . bony leg? It looked so cool. owo "Undead dorms? I-Is zombie."

He stood off to one side, arms crossed, just watching. It even looked like he might have been taking the tatzel's advice and attempting to learn from the more agile dancers. Alas, West was just thinking of ways to humiliate and injure all of these peppy assholes. That bony kid though... maybe he could learn a thing or two from that one.
When Levi lost to Weirdo, West smirked but surprisingly didn't utter a single word to the pale ghoul, taunting or otherwise. Instead, he approached the blonde one, holding out a hand to shake.
"West," he said. "Play ya?" He was going to beat them all. maniacal laugh

Lark, pink-cheeked and obviously having the time of her life, took hold of West's hand and gave it a firm shake.
"Lark," she chirped, "n' I'd love t'whip yer a**." She let out a laugh after that, grinning at Levi before clapping the other ghoul on the shoulder. Lark loved to win but her teasing was all done in pure fun. She'd never purposefully hurt anyone's feelings.
"I'll even letcha pick th'song."

West's smile widened as he shook Lark's hand and hopped back up onto the squares of pain. He scrolled through the song list, choosing one that was conducive to stomping. And stomp he did. When the song ended, he looked over to see how his opponent had done, confident that the only asses getting whipped this round would be hers. Aw, yeah. Lark was thrown off of her game the instant that the monkey sounds blared forth from the speakers. All that followed was screaming and angry guitars and screeching and more monkey sounds. It was like no music that Lark had ever experienced before in her life. She was stumbling over her feet and lividly cursing by the time she stumbled off of the DDD machine.
"Tch," she grunted, narrowing her eyes at their scores before she turned to West.
"Almost got'cha!"

West seemed to do better at these particular sorts of songs. Figured. They had a~ quality about them that was very much reminiscent of the wrath demon. What was Levi to do? Well- she wanted to take him out of his comfort zone, of course. If that was the type of song to make him succeed, then he needed to work on the opposite. The tatzel hopped up onto the place where Lark was before West had any say otherwise. Ain't over yet! Looks like ya got yer game back, eh? C'mon, boil! Let's go!She scrolled the list and came to something that sounded overly flashy. The words didn't make sense, but she could follow it better than the last tune she'd done with Lark due to the beat. "Almost," he agreed, his smile remaining plastered to his face as Lark stepped away from the game. He had planned on getting away from the thing as well, not because he was tired of course, nor because he was afraid of losing aga--
His eyes narrowed as Levi stepped up beside him and chose a song. He was going to lose, wasn't he? At first he was horrified by the chirpy, incomprehensible mess blaring out of the game's speakers, but he quickly got into it, kicking arrows like they were minipets. As the last notes reached his ears, West turned to face the tatzel, jabbing a finger in her direction.
"It's you makin' me lose! Pickin' 'em ghouly songs I can't dance...to..." Wait.
He had won? He had won! He had... won. West glanced around at the crowd. He really hoped Damien wasn't watching.

He happily shook the other undead boils hand "Mort, eh? Ya, I'm in the undead dorms too....and zombie too, yes!" He took his hand back to cross his arms over his chest, tucking his hands under his arms as he turned and gave a low whistle, leaning back slightly.
"I've never actually played before...I mostly try to stay away from this kindof stuff. But when I saw the crowd..."
His voice trailed off as one of the ghouls shouted a compliment his way, and he smiled back at her and winked. This was great!

Maybe it was because she'd watched two people go ahead of her that had been amazing, or she'd watched a battle that seemed fun, but either way Chuppi's last attempt at playing for the day actually gave her a much lower score than the previous round she played. It brought a frown to her lips and she stepped off the machine, waddling to the side so someone else could play.
Perhaps it would be best if she came back the next day and tried to pay more attention? She hadn't noticed Mort's failures or his falling, all she'd seen was him making a new friend, so there wasn't really anything else she could be doing for the time being other than watching and waiting.
That being said she opted for going home, or at least back to her dorms, and the Chupcabra turned on her heels and moved out.

Levi returned the wink to Xander, who'd motioned to her with a wide toothy grin. If this boil could move, she water a chance to get some moves going with him as well. Like she had thought with the cowboil, dancing was something to be respected in some form. Even if they were boils, they'd recognized the appeal of dancing which earned them some weight in Levi's eyes. As West's words trailed off, Levi cut in with a chuckle. Okay- so he hadn't just been winning based on the song choice. He'd could do the ghoulie songs too. Rather than feel like less of a dancer than the danged boil, she was more humored that he'd done better than her on this particular song. He was able to keep the beat. Heh.Yeeeep~ She curled her tail up and leaned against the back bar. Ye sure won that one fair n' square. But ya'know- I'm sure it was just beginners luck since ya'ain't usually dancing' ta that sorta thing, eh? Let's go 'again. Fer tha practice. Since yer doin' so well. The next song she chose after Chuppi had taken her turn (she gave a wave before the ghoul left) was only seen as the first two words. Had Levi noticed the last word- she likely wouldn't have chosen it. When the music began, she moved as usual, and then that word came up. She couldn't stop moving, but her nose crinkled at the tiny figure with a crown on the screen. Jack dangit! She was able to get some combos in, but a distraction cause her to ... She was taunting him. Had his EPIC WIN gotten under her skin? West simply nodded in response to her desire to play again and crouched slightly, prepping his tired legs for more flailing and stomping.
He frowned as the full title appeared on the screen. Was this some sort of joke? Mrr. He'd take her joke and shove it up her a**! West danced until he could dance no more, panting and sweating by the time it was over. It was way more difficult than the others had been, but it seemed he was having a winning streak all of a sudden.
"Ha!" he shouted when their scores blinked onto the screen. "Princess can't even win atta princess song!"
