Vic gave Mical a secretive smile. "I might have." He shrugged. "Then again, you won't know unless we finish for the day won't you?" He leaned in close to Mical. "Or...I might have you wait until we find 'the one'." With a wicked grin, Mical exited the den they were looking in.
That might inspire Mical wouldn't it? Not getting any until they settled on the right den. Of course, it inspired Victorino too, but if it kept both of them focused on the task at hand, it was worth it. Right? Outside, Victorino surveyed their surroundings. Which direction seemed the best to go next?

He pouted, how mean of his mate to cut him off until they found the right den. But in a way it was also an interesting little game that Vic was playing. And it was making Mic want to try tempting him into being naughty all the more. Grinning to himself he walked out of the den and smiled at him mate.
How far would he be able to push Vic before the younger male cracked and was begging for Mical to make love to him. Lucky for the brown fox, he knew all the right buttons to push. And he had every intention of pushing them. Repeatedly. Chuckling he walked up to his mate, "So which way?" He ran his tail along Vic's back invitingly.

Vic twitched at his mate's touch. That was all he allowed himself to do. He would not get distracted from what they were trying to accomplish, no matter what Mical threw at him. Besides, it wouldn't kill Mic not to go an entire day perhaps without what he wanted.
"Well, we could always try the forest. Or, even though you said it'd be cold in the mountains, there might be something along that way, yet not near enough to actually be cold." Besides, if they had so many kits, it wasn't like it would never be warm.

Mical smiled at his mate, "Either idea is alright with me....though I would prefer to leave the mountains as a last resort. I don't really fancy the mountains myself...so I doubt the kids would like it." The male leaned into his mate and nuzzled against his neck, smiling as he nibbled on his ear. "How about we stick to the forest. I like the smell of the flowers too."
The older male rubbed along Vic's body enticingly as he grinned.

Vic's ear twitched as he moved away from Mical slightly. "Sounds like a plan." After all, they had to be comfortable in the new den as well. He cast a sideways look at his mate. "What about the mountains is it you don't like besides the cold?" Sure it could be rocky and dangerous, not a lot of scenery right outside. But it could help protect their kits. And their could possibly be a grand scene to see from high up.
Then again, the dangers did outweigh the risks....So Vic turned towards the path to the forest, gritting his teeth against the other male rubbing himself against Vic. They needed to find a new den soon, before either of them went insane.

Mical looked at his mate, "I guess what it is really about is that i Have had very bad experiences with living in the mountains and thus I do not like them now." He shrugged his shoulders, "So I would prefer just not to live there anymore." He smiled at his mate, "But if you really have your heart set on a den in the mountains then I think I can stomach it." Leaning in he licked his mate lovingly.
"Your happiness is much more important to me." Mic quietly followed behind his mate, making sure to occasionally brush against him temptingly, seeming to do it by accident of course.

Vic smiled and gave in a brief bit by nuzzeling his mate. "Just like you're happiness is important to me Mic." Vic never knew that Mic had bad experiences in the mountains. As much as he wanted to hear what they were, Vic wasn't going to pry. If Mic had wanted him to know he would have said something. "I don't have my heart set on anyone place. As long as its with you. And perfect to raise a family in."

Laughing at what his mate said he smiled. "I feel the same way...though I would prefer not the mountains. I would do it in a heartbeat if it made you happy." Returning the small nuzzle he straightened after and looked around. "Alright. This way." He followed a pathway that led them by some beautiful flower beds. "The scenery is nice...You know that we could always make a den of our own if we find a location that we are particularly fond of."
Looking back at his mate he tried to gauge his reaction to the declaration. It sounded like a good idea to him, though it would require much more work for them. But it wasn't as if they had children right this moment.

Victorino looked around them and lifted his nose up slightly, taking a deep breath in to smell the flowers. This was a pretty place. Smelled nice too. The brightly colored male walked around a little, keeping an eye out for signs of prey they could hunt.
"You do have a point Mic. And we already mentioned what we wanted in a den location." Vic sat down. "A water source. Game. Space for the kits to play and grow in. Protected, but not so much that we can't keep an eye on them until they're grown..."

Mical smiled at the younger male. "So far this place looks like a nice specimen. The only thing that I have yet to see is a water source and game....but that might be close enough to reach in a day, but far enough that it wouldn't endanger the kits. You know how they can be so curious and reckless at the same time. I don't want any predators to be able to walk off with them, but also I don't want them to be able to fall into the water. At least until we can teach them to swim."
Thinking about it while he was talking, Mical realized that his ideas on a den were far more detailed then he had originally thought. He wanted much more then he had though at first. but that wasn't a bad thing, it just meant he cared very much about his family.

A wide grin spread on Vic's face. "Why Mical, I do believe you'd make a good father." His tail swished back and forth. "We don't even have a new den or kits yet and you're already planning safety for them." He scratched at an ear.
"Do you want to relax for a moment and then explore the surrounding area for water and game?" And if they did..."As well as a spot where we could start building the new den?"

Mical smiled at his mate, "I can't help it if I want the best for our future children." He chuckled as he nuzzled against the younger male. "You are very important to me, and so are our kids. I want to make sure that we pick a place that will make everyone happy and safe."
Cocking his head to the side he smiled, "Sure....i think that it would be best if we did scout the area. See if it's the right place." He grinned. And maybe he would get the opportunity to jump his mate in the process.

Victorino grinned and leaned into his mate. "Not only to see if its the right place silly, but to also see what we have to work with before you get carried away with all these grand plans of yours."
Although, Victorino would have no issue with whatever Mical planned. He had been around longer yes, and no doubt had thought more about kits that he had. Victorino wasn't going to deny his mate the opportunity to make his dream den.

Mical chuckled as he smiled at his mate, "Right, right. I forget sometimes that I tend to get carried away." He leaned in and nuzzled the male's neck lovingly, "Why don't we go look for the watering hole first, then we can see about looking for the game around here." He grinned, then cocked his head to the side. "Which way should we head in first?"

Which way indeed? "I suppose we could continue walking the way we entered. It might lead to the middle of something. Or the very least a small bit of water we could then follow to a bigger one." Who knew. Maybe they'd find other things they would need too. "After all, if we get lost...it's no big deal. Right?" He looked over at Mical with a grin.
