((Are you sure? It doesnt say anything about it on the Battle Format page...I fixed the last two posts anyway, and the last one was 100 not 150 from burn. 1st=50, 2nd =100, 3rd=150))
Rio tried to dodge Erebos's attack but was slowed by the burn and was hit by the attack. 'Well, two can play at this game.' Cara thought. "Time to up our game. Use Cross Chop too, Rio!" Rio took off toward Erebos in the same fashion the foe Lucario had been coming at him. He prepared himself for the attack and waited for the right moment.

((I think the battle system was made based on the game and, if so, then it should be? O: I'll post in the judging thread to make sure.
And I meant 150 as a combination of the first and second burn that was disregarded, not just the second. xD

And the right moment Rio had gained. Erebos had just finished his own Cross Chop, and the brief fraction of time it took for him to recover from the force his legs had gone through left him vulnerable. A powerful Cross Chop, enforced by the spikes protruding from the Lucario's paws, hit in the back of the neck, and he was out instantly.
Inside, Genesis' mind was at turmoil. She knew that the two would be evenly matched, but she had expected in the back of her mind for Erebos to come out victorious.
Still, such emotion would not make sense as the persona she played now, and she kept it hidden. Recalling Erebos into his ball, she went to the middle of the now-smooth field to offer the other a shake.
"That was a great fight," she said, smiling. "I hope we'll be able to battle again sometime."

Cara climbed down and Rio ran to her. She hugged the worn out Lucario to her giving him tons of love, affection, and praise. "You did AMAZING Rio!! You were awesome!!" She said, hugging him tight. Rio sort of wrapped around Cara, happy for the affection and the warmth she provided. Cara looked across to Genesis and nodded, smiling. "It definitely was, your Lucario is a great fighter. We'll definitely have to do this again sometime." She agreed. Cara had known this would be an interesting battle from the start, and it was most certainly that. Her emotions showed clearly on her face and they likely always would. "What'dya say we head to the pokemon center and get you all fixed up, huh Rio?" Cara said, kneeling down to Rio's eye level. Rio sat and gruffed in agreement, which made Cara chuckle, and the two then made their exit.
