Adona Benedicta For this battle, I just wanted to check my calculations following Ane's VENOSHOCK attack. (The one that hit.) Joltik was poisoned, which bumped the base damage up to 150. So that would mean the crit hit would be 300, yes? Plus the 150 for the third-round of poison, so a total of 450? Yup :3

For this battle, a status condition-inflicting move was used before the previous one could wear out. P: It was an ice type used on a burn, so I thought it would make sense to have that override the other, but in the game, I think status doesn't work until the old one disappears? <_> So, basically: Does the original condition stay and the second one fail? Does the second one override the first? Or do they both affect my Pokémon together?

Does the second one override the first? Or do they both affect my Pokémon together? Uh, you can't inflict a status until the old one disappears unless it is confusion/freeze. I should go edit this in the attack dex P: DJ can get a re-do if he wants

Another doesn't-matter-now; future-reference question (for this battle). emotion_awesome Stat Boosts affects status conditions (ie. a +50 Defense would render a first turn Poison ineffective). Yea / nay?

Ryuukishin Another doesn't-matter-now; future-reference question (for this battle). emotion_awesome Stat Boosts affects status conditions (ie. a +50 Defense would render a first turn Poison ineffective). Yea / nay? Stat boosts do not effect status conditions at all ovo -needs to add that-

More questions! 1) Super Fang is supposed to do damage equal to 50% of the opponents HP. How come the Attack Dex has it as 6 sided dice roll with 100 base damage? 2) If I use sleep talk and roll the move rest, do I gain another 100 HP and have to re-roll the amount of turns I stay asleep? Or am I "Already alseep?"

THE Jehan More questions! 1) Super Fang is supposed to do damage equal to 50% of the opponents HP. How come the Attack Dex has it as 6 sided dice roll with 100 base damage? 2) If I use sleep talk and roll the move rest, do I gain another 100 HP and have to re-roll the amount of turns I stay asleep? Or am I "Already alseep?" 1) I took out/adjusted moves I thought would be too unbalanced in the battle system 2) You are already asleep xD

No, going by game dynamics, if you use rest through sleeptalk, the move will automatically fail yay bulbapedia

My question is Rest related as well, actually.
In the games, you may use rest to clear yourself of a nasty status condition, such as poison or burn. Is it the same here?

Qixel My question is Rest related as well, actually. In the games, you may use rest to clear yourself of a nasty status condition, such as poison or burn. Is it the same here? Yes, but if it is paralysis/confusion/love, you still have to randomize for the attack to go through

For this battle ihave a two part question. A) My HP should have been 675 where i put 600? B) that means my current HP should be 450 right?

If a trainer used Toxic in the City Streets Field, which gives a bonus to Poison attacks, would Toxic do more damage? Or, since I notice you already said stat effects don't affect poison damage, is poison damage unable to be altered by anything?

Or, since I notice you already said stat effects don't affect poison damage, is poison damage unable to be altered by anything? Poison/burn damage are unaffected by everything/anything except...you can't poison a steel type obviously 8C
