Zeke Redgrave  Zeke couldn't help but smile at the curiosity radiating off of the girl in front of him. "Well, the outside world, from what I've seen, is very beautiful. I've been in large forests, lively towns and cities, and a bunch of other places. The air is crisp and fresh, and looking at the clouds in the sky is always relaxing. My only complaint is the city guads telling me not to run on rooftops." He told her. He enjoyed the freedom he had, and from the look on Kumiko's face, she wanted that kind of freedom he had. She wanted to explore, to discover....to live.

Her tail sways a bit more and her ears remained perked up. She was resting her head on her hands, propped up on her elbows. She didn't have a lot of Princess manners, which most Prince's hated. Listening to every word he said, her left ear flickered. She then remembered the festivals outside. That her parents would attend to but she would have to be stuck inside, in her room. She felt like one of her story book characters, Rapunzel. Long beautiful hair, trapped away from the world like she was but she eventually got out and had long hair."What are the festivals like? I know mother and father have fun and I hear laughter outside when there is one."She said looking curious. Kumiko was happy that Zeke was kind and not a stuck up over protective body guard. He was more like a friend than a bodyguard, which, she didn't mind. She was tired of royalty; manners, never seeing her parents, always being taught how to do something proper, meeting Prince's from different lands and regions. Zeke Redgrave Zeke smiled at Kumiko's excitement over the outside world. Her desire for a new life was obvious, and he was glad to be helping with her curiosity. "Well, I've only been to one, but it was exciting. So many people having fun. All sorts of games and music, and a lot of energy in the crowds. I came there mostly to swipe food when I was a kid, but I had fun when I got there." He told her. Zeke was glad to see that he'd be with Kumiko and not some stereotypical princess. She seemed more like a friend than a boss, and he enjoyed that. Zeke wanted to give her just one taste of the world, if he could. Something then sprung up in his brain. "I think I just had a crazy idea. I heard that there's a festival coming up in a few days. Maybe if we found a good disguise, I could sneak you there for a bit of fun." He suggested. This would either be his best, or worst, idea ever. The theif had a strong desire to make her happy, and he would do just that, if only for a little while.

She couldn't help but to smile. She was finally going to be able to go outside. And even to the festival."Really? You can do that for me? But I don't want you to get in trouble if you get caught. You've been so kind to me and this is your first day. The thought is nice, but I don't think I can disobey my parents orders and get you in some serious trouble." She held in her hands in her lap, as her tail stopped swaying and her ears lowered. Kumiko looked down sadly and sighed,"But, what do you want to do now?"She looked back up at Zeke, her ears perked up a bit. ☀`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´♕`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´☀

Zeke Redgrave Zeke nodded, with a sigh. "Okay. Just an idea." He told her. He was hoing she would say yes, but the plan failed. He would take the heat for it with her parents, though. He's gotten into a lot of trouble before, and he would gladly do it, since she wanted to see the outside world so badly, despite saying no. Well, he didn't want to press it, since she said no. As for what to do now, the theif had no clue. "I don't really know. You have any ideas?" He asked Kumiko, before biting into another apple. He was starting to form an addiction to those things.

She lowered her head a bit and said,"I'm sorry. I would say yes in a heart beat. Really. I want to see the outside and experience the outside world, but..."She paused and looked down, rubbing her heads,"I just don't want you getting in trouble for my selfish wants."Kumiko looked back up at Zeke and said standing up,"Then, search inside your heart. Maybe there was something you wanted to do when you were a kid. Zeke Redgrave Zeke thought for a moment, but couldn't really think of anything. He had done a lot as a child, even without parents. He'd soared across rooftops, he played games with other children, he'd done almost anything a kid could do legally, and even some illegal stuff, and there wasn't much to recapture as an adult. Hell, Zeke may have been a street rat, but he had a life of excitement, and he didn't have any desires for himself, really. " I can't really think of anything." He told Kumiko. "As for the whole getting in trouble thing, I have a long history of that, so I'm used to it, but I'll drop the idea, if that's what ya want." He added. He didn't think her desire was selfish. It was perfectly normal. Plus, the festival idea sounded fun.

It was tempting. She wanted to say yes. She hesitated and shifted on one foot to the other. Kumiko looked back at Zeke and said,"Are you sure you really want to do this?"She only get's to live once, and she didn't want to be living in here for the rest of her life. She nodded silently, saying yes. She wanted to go out and have some fun for once. What's a little outside going to do to her? Zeke Redgrave Zeke gave the princess a nod and a warm smile. "Yeah, I'm sure. You should be able to get outside and have fun like everyone else." He told her. He saw her nod, and his smile grew. "Alright! Looks like we have our plans for the next few days. First, I'll get you a disguise for the festival. Something that covers the horn. No offense, of course, in fact it looks good on you, but I don't want to blow our cover." He told her. He looked in his bag and pulled out a brown cloak with a hood. He handed it to her, knowing that it would work well. Zeke was happy that she went along with the idea. It would be a positive thing for Kumiko to get out of the castle for once and enjoy life.

He was like an excited kid with candy and friends. Kumiko recieved the hooded cloak and pulls it on. She pulls the hood down and asked,"How does it look? Zeke Redgrave Zeke smiled and nodded at Kumiko. "It looks good. No one will know it's you!" He assured her. Zeke was happy to help the girl out. She had been so kind and accepting of him, regardless of his background, and he was happy to help the beautiful girl in front of him get a taste of freedom. Also, he was excited for the festival. He liked the energy and happiness of the crowds.

You've been so wonderful to me."The princess couldn't help but to hug him happily with a little squeeze with all her might. Her tail sways happily behind her and her ears flickered. Her right ear brushed up against his cheek softly as she hugged him. Kumiko was so happy that she was able to go outside and had someone that was helping her. She lets go of her body guard and takes off the cloak before anyone came in, seeing what their up to. A maid knocks on the door before entering and said, "Another prince is here to meet with you, Princess Kumiko. It's Lord Roy, from the South Kingdom. His father sent him here, responding to your Father's request a week ago." Kumiko looked at the maid and her ears lowered and her tail stopped swaying."Thank you Elli. Please tell Lord Roy that I will meet him in the indoor gardens shortly.""Yes ma'am," The maid bows and Kumiko bows back. She crossed her arms not wanting to go and said,"I thought I was finished with meeting princes. I'm only going to be rejected again... Being judged by either my looks or how I act. You don't have to company me with this if you don't want to. If you want you can unpack and get situated. Zeke Redgrave Zeke couldn't help but blush at the hug he got from Kumiko, but he gave a warm smile, clearly enjoying the contact, her ear sort of tickling his cheek. As the maid came in, gave her announcementm then left, Zeke turned to Kumiko. "I'll come along with you. I'm your bodyguard, after all. I'm gonna have to get used to following you into stuff that might be a bit boring." He joked. He opened the door and walked out, waiting for her to exit the room. Something about her meeting a prince rubbed him the wrong way. Sure, that's part of the job description when you're a princess, but something just bugged him. Who's to say this guy wouldn't be an a** like the others who rejected her? Hell, who's to say she'd even like this guy?

She was glad that he was going to join her and giggled when he said he had to join her with things that might also be boring. "Well, to spare your sanity, you don't have to join me for every little thing, Zeke. Somethings will probably need you there and other times, I may not need you there. It all depends on the circumstances."Kumiko walked down the steps and sighed a bit,"I do not look foreword to this... Sometimes I feel like cow that is on a marketplace. My parents are trying to give me away, wed me away. i understand that they want me to find love. But you cannot push it down someones throat."She opened the door and held it open for Zeke then goes inside after him. The uni-person princess walked across the room, past some plants and stopped seeing the Prince, waiting impatiently on the chair. Her ears lowered instantly and curtsied, "Good evening, Lord Roy. I'm Princess Kumiko and this is my body guard, Mr. Zeke Redgrave. He will be accompanying me during our meeting."She stood up and looked at the Prince. Zeke Redgrave Zeke chuckled and gave her a nod when she told him about not having to always be there with her. He could feel the uneasiness about her when she told him about her parents trying to wed her away, and he nodded once again, as that was all he could do. Sure, he didn't know how royal stuff worked, but he believed that people should find love willingly. As the two met up with the prince and Kumiko introduced him, Zeke gave his third nod for the post, trying to remain silent, as this was a royal affair that could go south if he did anything stupid. Seeing the disgust on the guy's face made him wonder which of the two the prince was aiming it for, him or Kumiko. All Zeke could do was be a good boy and keep his mouth shut, but what if this guy said or did something out of line?
