She seemed to have him at her mercy, which was amusing in its own right. "I don't think an enemy would be out for a tickle fight." The idea almost made her giggle. If only fights were like that. "You worry about it too much."

She continued to tickle, her body shifting so that she was facing him fully now, her legs straddling his lap. He was wiggling and shifting but hadn't really done anything else. But then she saw it. The corners of his mouth twitching and she couldn't help but move her hands to his sides, fingers lightly tickling him to see if she could be more of a reaction from him.

The instant Shun laughed Mitsu froze in her efforts her ears perked high on top of her head. Wide curious eyes turned to Shun's face as if she was completely lost by what that sound had been. Had he...had he really laughed? It had been strange and yet it made her heart flutter in her chest to hear it. She wanted to hear it again but...not forced out by tickling. Was it possible? She hardly gave a thought to the fact that in her pause to think that she had left herself open to attack.

The shift in his expression was what had alerted her that something was about to happen but she wasn't quick enough to avoid it. She let out a light squeal as his hands instantly found the most sensitive part of her neck, the hand tickling her side making her wiggle. She brought her shoulder up toward her neck as if trying to block, a giggle already bubbling up in her throat as she failed to fight back.

"Aaah!" Shun was ungiving in his attack, never letting up as he even redoubled his efforts to tickle her neck. It didn't take long before giggles turned to full out laughter and Mitsu writhing so much in his lap she finally fell backward off balance, hitting the soft grass behind her.

The laughter didn't stop though, it was almost contagious as she held her sides trying to catch her breath.

"Ehehe," Mitsu's laughter had eased back into giggling as she caught her breath, her eyes creased with amusement as she watched Shun come to rest next to her. "Oh? Ehehe, I think that's a challenge."

Perhaps not for today but eventually when Shun was unsuspecting and unawares she would strike again. Today the battle may have been lost but the war was not over, it had only just begun.....unknowingly to Shun.

Once she had calmed in her giggling a bit more Mitsu shifted closer to the reaper snuggling into his chest. This was were she liked to be and couldn't help but take this moment to steal a kiss.

Again his arms wrapped around her and when the kiss was finally broken Mitsu couldn't help by sigh contently. "I am." She nodded. "And you?"

She was then greeted with a semi-new sensation. Only semi-new because Shun had held her close during their field trip when she had been less than decent but feeling his fingers suddenly slip under her shirt to caress her back...that was definitely new. She didn't mind though, the contact was innocent enough and only made her snuggle closer so that there was no space between them.

"No, it did." She understood quite clearly what he was saying. She felt the same way. "I know what you mean. There is so much we have experienced and learned about in such a short amount of time. The field trip, the...Hunters, Red. It's hard to take it in at times but in moments like this...I can't seem to think about any of it because all I can think about is being with you."

A hand rested gently against the side of his face, a smile meant only for him touching her lips. "You make me very happy. I honestly don't remember ever feeling this way before."

There is was again, that smile that Mitsu was becoming rather fond of. It made her own smile grow warmer at just the sight of it. "I'm glad you're here too." Life here at the academy was certainly much better because of it. Mitsu had no idea what she would have done after the field trip if Shun hadn't been there. The experience had been rough but his presence had kept the nightmares away.
