Chaoe watched as everyone else thought about the situation, still shakey from what she had saw. That one finder with his insides...brought back some unpleasent memories. She tried to stop herself from shaking by pricking a finger on her weapon. Hoping the small pain would help her to her senses, which it did.
She blinked when she heard Sil offer her a piggyback ride. Her face broke out in a deep red, "I-I'm not a kid-" She seethed, but taking another look at the countless fast sharp objects in the room made her bite her lip in embarassment. "..b-but...a piggyback ride..doesn't sound that bad.."
She looked at the ground in shame, knowing she couldn't get through all that without help.

Knowing the red headed girl hadn't completely disappeared, as she had been in Road's grasp just a moment ago, Road remained in the spot just a bit longer before she pulled away. If she hadn't already been in Noah mode, she's be in it in a heartbeat and attacking Cross, then again, they'd had a history even if it wasn't acknowledged, and neither of them would speak about how they'd been connected so long ago. Her eyes though glared at him knowingly, and she almost didn't want to speak to him. "Exorcist... watch your place..."
A smile spread to her lips and with the umbrella still at her grasp, Road jumped onto it once again and swooped over to Cross. "What? You don't like the way I was playing...?" A fake pout sprung to her face to cover up how upset she had been just a couple minutes ago. To replace it, she spoke in haughty tone and her eyes sparkled in a dark merriment. "...How's Allen Walker..?" That was all she had to ask and she knew that Cross would feel uneasy, even if he wouldn't show it. He'd always been a bit of a stubborn faced fool, even way back when, and proud to boot, but she Allen Walker was some one that made both of them flinch. Turning her head in the opposite direction, Road stared at the only doors in the room. They were a pair of double doors, and they were obviously where the group needed to go next, however, there was something else there she wanted to deal with before that, and she turned her attentions back to Cross as she sat on the umbrella and got close to him. "You won't be able to hide away forever..you're just making this game of hide and seek all the more fun...and once the Earl gets what he wants... then you'll be 'it'"
Almost as if she had completely forgotten her siblings' deaths, she giggled excitedly and clapped her hands together, hovering in the direction of the door.

Sil didn’t have time to argue with her, and when her answer soon turned into a hesitant yes. Lavi had decided the answer to his own question, and with hesitation Dominik climbed onto the young man’s back with his eyes still locked on his dear friends, his arms a little tight around his neck. There was a haunted look in his eyes, deep and expansive; it was obvious that the loss of the two other young men had affected him deeply and broken something deep inside of him.. The look worried Sil, and she wondered if he would even make it through this ordeal if he had already broken beneath the weight of their gruesome discovery.
“Hold on tight,”Sil quickly said as she scooped Chaoe up and tucked her arms tightly beneath the girl’s knees, making sure she was very secure on her back. With a small bounce she took a moment to revel in her new sense of balance with the extra weight of the girl and looked to Lavi—she trusted the young future Bookman’s one eye for timing better than her own, as he always seemed to have a keen eye for detail and memorization that she couldn’t help but admire. As soon as the blade had been stopped and the instruction given, she took a complete leap of faith that Lavi’s shout had been an indicator of timing. Her faith was rewarded when a spiked wall didn’t spear her from the bottom up.
Adrenaline coarsed through her, the blood thudding through her ears at an alarming rate; her foot slipped slightly on the blood spattered on the floor, leaving a long drag mark in sanguine across the wooded floor as she barely managed to keep her balance. With a few more quick footed steps, she and Chaoe had safely made it across the room to the other side of the blades and spikes. The wall with the door was the only one that wasn’t trying to close in on them, so as the eastern and western walls continued to move they were still in danger.
“Lavi, hurry up! The wall behind you!” Sil cried in more concern than an actual command; the back wall was quickly pressing in on him and Dominik as he held the blades back. He had to move quickly; Sil’s hand rested on the door with her back to it, not prepared to go through the door with Chaoe until they absolutely had to. They couldn’t simply leave them there. As her hand fell onto the doorknob, she felt something smooth and papery beneath the curve of it, and her eyes widened slightly.
Another note? It would have to wait. Gently releasing the girl to the floor, she slid it into her pocket.

Liv was taken aback at how rude Cross was to her, although she probably shouldn't have been, given what she had heard about him. She watched as he pulled of his magic trick, making Michiyo disappear before Road's eyes. She wondered how he had managed that, given that she thought Road was the only illusionist around. As Road backed off and started to converse with Cross, Liv became a little confused, but trusted that Road knew what she was doing. She finally picked herself off the floor and turned her back on the bodies of the twins, wiping her face. She wished they could just leave already, but she had a feeling that would be an impossibility.

When Sil and Chaoe had made it safely across the room, Lavi kept his eyes on the spiked walls moving up and down in front of him and the Finder hanging onto his back. He didn't bother to look back at the wall slowly creeping towards them from the back when Sil warned him as not to break his concentration. Then, when the wall directly in front of him had almost completely disappeared back inside the ground, he kicked off of the ground, his hammer shrinking back to its original size. The spinning blades behind him continued their motion with a loud clang as their obstruction had finally been removed.
His hands now free, he hold onto the Finder's legs tightly as he made his way over the first few walls succesfully. The copious amount of blood on the floor, however, and the umcomfortable weight of the man on his back made him slip. When he had regained his footing, the last wall was beginning to rise again, threatening to spear him and the Finder from below. Quickly, he aimed his anti-Akuma weapon towards the ground at an angle. "Shin!" he yelled, and the hammer's handle extended, shooting Lavi and Dominik off of the ground and away from the rising wall. They flew into the wall at the end of the room with a crash, the hammer just narrowly escaping the spiked wall as it shot back to normal length.
Lavi ignored the throbbing pain in his back, turning towards the Finder next to him. "You okay?" The man groaned a bit, but otherwise seemed unharmed. Lavi helped him back up and made his way towards Sil and Chaoe, smiling nervously. "Well, that was a close one..." He was still gripping Tettsui pretty hard, expecting all kinds of crazy things to fly at them at any moment. He glanced at the door Sil and Chaoe had gathered at, not wanting to think about what lay behind it.

Cross bristled at the way Road spoke to him, but he too knew of the things they couldn't speak of. It was history now, even if they'd never forget it.
"Now isn't the time to play, Noah...and Allen is none of your concern," he kept his tone even, to show no hint of anything that had been going on lately with his first apprentice. He ignored what she said about the Earl.
"We need to move on," he stated simply, releasing the Grave of Maria, unveiling Michiyo.
"I'll be watching you, Noah. If you try anything foolish, I won't hesitate to make you regret it," he turned his back on Road and moved to where Michiyo sat.
"Do you remember anything at all?" He knelt down beside her and checked her over.
"And do something about that pet of yours, she's pathetic," he shot back at Road, obviously talking about Liv.

Sil had the urge to chew her nails to the quick being on the other side of the action and watching Lavi’s daring attempt to traverse the room, watching the walls to the left and the right to gauge when she and Chaoe would have to make the ultimate decision to back through the next unknown door. When they made it across, regardless of Lavi’s wince worthy slide into the far wall, she let out an audible sigh of relief before hesitating a moment longer over whether to dare the next door or not. The young woman was well aware that they had no other choice, but a part of her knew that there may be something in the next room twice as terrible as this one. It was obvious now that they were trapped in a sick, twisted fun house.
Dominik nodded in response to Lavi’s question, still staring at his fallen comrades with his dark eyes wide and confused. It was if he couldn’t really believe that both of them were dead, and he was now realizing that the likelihood of him surviving this ordeal was rapidly declining. “We can’t just leave their bodies here… They… need a…”
Sil cut him off as gently as possible, knowing that her actions were probably going to make her look callous in the eyes of the Finder. “There isn’t anything we can do… We have to keep moving forward,” she gripped his shoulder tightly with a sympathetic look touching her features. It was moments like this where she hated being an Exorcist, and even-more-so the voice of reason that came along with their macabre job. With a deep breath, Sil twisted the doorknob and threw the new door open with vehemence, met once again with darkness. However, the walls were dangerously close to them now, so she slipped through the door with Chaoe and Dominik trailing behind them and Lavi bringing up the back.
However, with a startling bang the door slammed shut behind them as if an unknown force had slammed it with all their might just before Lavi could make his way through the doorway. Dominik jumped and Sil couldn’t stop herself from yelling Lavi’s name before running back to the door which disappeared completely from the wall by the time she reached it. She called the fangs of her Innocence back along her knuckles and gave the wall a hard punch, but it was solid; it did nothing more than hurt her and cause a vibration that seemed to reach down to her bones. First Michiyo, disappearing down the violent dark pit where they knew not where it lead, and now Lavi, trapped in a room that surely spelled out death for him, she clenched her fists tightly and tried to push the thought of Lavi’s potential death from her head. She couldn’t think negatively right now.
“He’s fine,” she said outloud—she didn’t know who she was trying to convince, the confused Finder and the Exorcist girl or herself. Lavi had survived worse things before, right? They would have to keep pushing forward… and prey… there was no going backwards.
However, when she tried the next door, the doorknob wouldn't budge no matter how hard they jiggled it-- it seemed that they were trapped inside of this room with no where to go. There was a small passage way on the far left side of the room, just large enough to fit the form of a child... ---- Narration:
The death room seemed to refuse to let Lavi leave it, and as the door slammed shut in front of the red headed Exorcist separating him from his group. As the walls continued to close in it seemed like it would only be a matter of minutes until Bookman, Jr. would be ground into nothing more than thin slices and finely ground paste. The house, with a mind of its own, seemed to have its own ideas. With a startling creak the boards of the roof began to split, and like dark tentacles an inky fabric-like substance snaked violently down from the new hole moving at a startling speed. Before Lavi would have a moment to react, it wrapped around his shoulders and threw him violently from the room below through the jagged hole to no-where like nothing more than a mere ragdoll.
The separated Exorcist quickly lost all of his light as the floor hole closed up; the room had no lighting at all, nothing more than pitch black darkness where he would have nothing but his sense of touch to guide him… That is, whenever he landed from the violent throw.

Lavi followed the rest towards the door, mentally readying himself for whatever lay in store for them next. However, before he could enter the next room along with the three others, the door slammed shut in front of him, momentaringly stunning him as he came to grips with what was happening. When he realized he was shut in a room that was soon going to kill him, he rammed against the door with his shoulder, but it wouldn’t budge, the wall of death moving all the while closer towards him and threatening to squash him like a bug. “Damnit!”
He looked around the remaining sliver of room he was standing in, searching for a possible exit but not finding one. Then, an ominous sound from the ceiling could be heard, and Lavi had a frightening mental image of another couple of hatches opening up, ropes uncoiling, his three comrades ahead of him dangling from them. And the ceiling did open up, but thankfully no bodies fell out of it. Instead, strange, dark strands shot towards him, coiling around his arms and violently pulling him up through the ceiling. “What the hell!?” the last word was stretched out as he flew through the air into darkness for a few seconds before crashing into another wall and fell to the floor beneath it. He groaned, wondering how often that was going to happen to him today.
As he staggered back to his feet, he felt his hair flop over his eye, realizing he’d lost his headband somewhere while he was being tossed around. He didn’t bother to look for it, as the room he was currently in was pitch black and it might’ve dropped back in the death trap room below him. Johnny would make him a new one when he got back to the Order. Lavi said a quick prayer inside of his head for Sil, Chaoe and Dominik, hoping they didn’t encounter anything bad in the next room and were safe, before busying himself with his new surroundings. Judging from how high he’d been tossed, he was obviously in the room above the death trap one, meaning he was on the second floor right now. Touching around him, he could feel the wall he’d crashed into behind him, but nothing else. "Where have I ended up this time...?"

Michiyo kept her eyes decidedly away from the corpses on the other side of the room, her gaze flickering between Cross and the Noah as they spoke of things that had little to no meaning to her. She had heard stories, everyone had, but the details were very much top secret and she was not. The switch in personality that the Noah displayed however was very disconcerting. From murderous to childish excitement in mere seconds.
A slight rustle of clothing made her look back - it was a reflex, one she cursed when her eyes fell on the corpses again. She quickly focused on the woman kneeling next to them. She seemed to be crying. The Exorcist frowned, scrutinizing her appearance. Had she been with them before? The woman must have been with the Noah, but did not look like one of her family. Yet she wept for the slain Naoh as if they were.
Her attention was brought back to her own situation as the shimmering light that had covered her melted away, revealing her once more. "The last thing I remember is falling through the floor in the entrance hall," Michiyo replied as the General knelt beside her on the floor, "It was pitch black down there, and next thing I knew I woke up here. I don't even remember hitting the ground." Wincing, she hesitantly examined the lump on the back of her head with her fingers, "Though I have the pain to prove I did hit something at least."
She got to her feet, a bit wobbly at first but quickly getting a surer footing. Better stick close to the General she reasoned Who knows when that Noah decides that murdering me now is a lot more fun than finishing the game?"

Cross, Michiyo, the Noah and the human had no other way to go but forward. The door that had been lurking on the other side of the room for their entire ordeal was calling to them. Surely, it too would disappear when they entered the next room, just as the door preceding it had.
In the next room they found, to their surprise, Sil, Chaoe, and Dominik. Lavi was nowhere to be seen.

After everything was said and done, Liv didn't really think that the young orange-haired Exorcist girl had been the culprit in the death of the twins either. She seemed far too weak, and something dreadful had happened to the boys...she didn't want to think about it anymore, so she took it upon herself to lead the way through the next door. Opening it slowly, she peeked her head through first.
"Oh-" She looked around the room, and nothing sinister seemed to be lurking around; she was relieved.
Liv was surprised when they found in the next room, two of the other Exorcists and a Finder. She hadn't expected them to meet up again so soon. But...someone was missing. The red-haired young man. She wondered what had happened to him, and thought it was a bit of a shame that the cute boy was probably dead or mangled. Just like the twins... her eyes were still wet, but she sniffed and held back the tears, trying to buck up.

"What is it..?" Cross asked Liv, eager to see what they had stumbled upon.
Aiding Michiyo into the next room, he kept a watchful eye on Road all the while. He too was shocked to have met Sil, Chaoe and Dominik so soon, but didn't hesitate to ask the begging question, "Where's Bookman Jr.?"
He could see that the trio looked very frazzled and had definitely had a rough time with whatever they had come across. He could only hope that nothing the likes of what happened to the twins had also happened to Lavi... He was at least glad the little girl hadn't fallen behind.
"What happened? Decchi?" he looked to Sil for the answers, "There's something going on here, I need you to tell me everything. I'll explain about our situation after. "
Cross knew they would want to know how Michiyo had gotten covered in blood and how they had found her so quickly. He'd give them the details later.

Chaoe bit her lip in frustration and fear as she stared at the place where the door and Lavi had once been. She quickly looked up when she heard Sil talk and nodded slightly. Although she still had a bad feeling in her gut. Chaoe growled, hating the thought of being stuck in this room while everyone else could be out there getting killed...or worse. When she spotted the small passage she opened her mouth to speak but was stopped when the door opened and in walked General Cross, Michiyo, Road and the human travelling with her. She felt a little relieved but was still uneasy. Shifting from foot to foot nervously she gripped Cerberus closely, staring at the bloody Michiyo. Just what happened...She hoped that whatever was in their room wasn't as bad as what they had seen, she knew she would be haunted with the scene of those two finders for a few nights atleast, if not longer.

Sil had been pacing the room like a caged animal for several minutes now, trying to keep her blood pumping as she tried to figure out a way to liberate herself, Chaoe and Dominik from the room that currently acted as a wooden walled cage. The door sat there, taunting her. No matter how she jiggled the handle, kicked a bloody gripped boot against the door and slammed her shoulder into it, the damn thing simply would not budge even in the slightest. The longer she paced the more agitated she was becoming, realizing that there was a good chance that damn murderer Road was going to beat them to the Innocence unless Cross could stop her from getting there first. She had faith in her General’s abilities, but Road withheld powers that very little knew the extent of, and there was no telling what that human girl pet of hers was hiding. It seemed that whatever was going on in this house had quite possibly killed Lavi and Michiyo both, and was going to leave her, Chaoe and Dominik here to starve slowly to death, the worst way to die when they had no idea what was going on with their comrades.
A hatch on the left side of the room flew open as Liv entered the room, making a door where there had previously been no door before. The Exorcist made a noise of surprise and reacted quickly with a defensive stance until she saw the tall, lean form of her red headed General enter the room after her. Then there she was; the little spiky haired Noah brat. The sight of her brought a wave of strong emotion akin to burning hatred to the frontline. “Isshou, that horrible… horrible…” she couldn’t even think of a word to call her by, “that girl slaughtered two of our Finders. Slaughtered,” she emphasized. “They were hung from the roof and gutted like game… Lavi,” Sil’s voice cracked slightly at the mention of the missing Exorcists name, “recognized her purple candles sticking out of them before…”
The young woman shook her head slowly, trying to get herself together better for explaining. “The room before this was a death trap… Spiked flooring and swinging blades… We managed to get to the next door, but before Lavi could get through the door slammed shut and disappeared…” she hesitated, not wanting to say the words that everyone was probably thinking. He's probably dead. “I’m not sure of his whereabouts. But… knowing that Michiyo is okay brings me hope.”
The female Exorcist eyed Michiyo, covered in blood and looking rather shell shocked from whatever she had endured in the room with Cross, Road and Road’s blonde pet human. The odd part about how she looked was that there appeared to be no scratches or cuts on her at all, which was a relief to see. However, that made Sil wonder where that blood had come from. Amongst it all, the black and red uniform and the spatter of blood, a pristine clean white sheet of paper stuck out of Michiyo’s pocket and Sil’s eyes widened. “Michiyo, what’s that?”
Before she could answer, she tugged the note out of the girls pocket and unfolded it. After she had read it over silently, she pulled the note she found on the door knob out of her own pocket and compared the two. They were exactly the same, in that familiar handwriting. She read it out loud with a puzzled tone to her voice:
You may have all come in together~ But can your trust last this tough bout of weather~? I’ve taken a face to call my own~ But which face to you will stay unknown~ The one who stands on your left or right~ May be the one who holds the knife~ I will not follow the rules of this dimension~ Time is nothing but an extension~ I move freely back and forth to slay~ And keep you here with me to play~ Until you find the face I keep~ It is your souls that I will reap.~
