"Honorable way to go..." She echoed softly before going silent, thinking about Hel's words as she stared at the grass, a faraway look in her eyes, "Yes, I think Professor Red died that way... I know I won't forget her." She did give up her life for the students, after all; if she hadn't done that, who knows how many of them would have been captured and taken away by those hunters...
"I suppose for many of us, death is not permanent so it doesn't impact us as much..." She mused, "It still hurts to see someone you care about die, but... There's always that hope that they would respawn somewhere and that you'll see them again... But thank you," She smiled at Hel, "For sharing that." She definitely liked the idea of the professor being remembered for what she had done rather than by her death.

Hel rolled her shoulders, frowning as Lizzy brought up that point about death not being permanent for many.
“…Bah! That bothers me.” Not that Hel was wishing that death wasn’t permanent. “It’s…it’s like it cheapens our existence…that sentiment that…it’s okay to fall, because we’ll just respawn…no.” Hel shook her head, brows furrowing. “Just because we can respawn doesn’t mean we shouldn’t fight like out life depended on it…because…look at the professor! She’s not coming back…who is to say we might not one day.” Hel looked over at Lizzy now, her eyes alight with conviction. “That is why I need to get stronger. That is why I need to fight.” She pointed a finger at the spider demoness. “That is why you need to get stronger. That is why we all need to get stronger.”
The ghoul huffed loudly and then stared back up at the sky after that little rant she just had.

She listened without interrupting, although her eyes widened when she was addressed directly, "Ah, I didn't say anything about not fighting like our life depended on it." She frowned, although her expression was rather sheepish, "I had been fighting and growing for a year now. Three field trips... Before school, the only fighting I had was with the sewing machine when it just would not start for some reason."
She paused, playing with her hair for a bit, "You probably have a lot more experience than me... I mean, my instinct when I have to protect Lattice from a hunter was to kick him between the legs, like Xiu told me to. Jericho said he almost felt sorry for him." She seemed almost depressed for a moment before perking up again, "Ah! Care to exchange pointers some day?"

Cheap shots, huh? Hel gave Lizzy this look again: The reaper snorted softly. “ Ah yes…I’ve been training and battling ever since I was young friend…even before I could summon my weapon…” She trailed off before startling and staring back at the spider demoness, surprised. “… Exchange…pointers?” She echoed dubiously, her brow furrowing. “… Oh…you mean you want to train with me?”

"Y-yes, train..." Sometimes it slipped her mind that there was a word that could sum it all up, "I think it would be beneficial to actually learn some moves that did not include hitting a boil... There..." Yup, she was definitely feeling a little depressed about that, especially after Jericho's comment, not that she regretted doing it... They took down Lattice, after all! That attack was justified!
"Whenever you are free, of course," She nodded, not wishing to be too much of a bother.

Hel just stared.
Oh so many possibilities.
Not all of them were good.
Secretly…the thought of being able to rough Lizzy up a bit was way more appealing appealing than it should be.
Who was she to turn away a friend in need though?
The reaper gave a thoughtful hum as she now scrutinized the spider demoness. “…Alright…I will train with you, but only on one condition. You can not hesitate to attack me, understood?” Hel was stating this rather seriously. “If you’re going to hesitate, then you’ll just be wasting my time, and yours.” She held a hand out to Lizzy. “Deal?”

"You shouldn't say 'deal' and then shake a demon's hand," Her expression darkened for a moment before she fidgeted, almost uncomfortably, "J-just in case, anyway... But of course! I mean, I wouldn't have it any other way... I promise, Hel." She then took the offered hand and shook it with a smile, glad that the ghoul was agreeable.

What was that about? Oh right…contracts or something like that? Did Hel care? Nope.
“Bah.” Hel dismissed Lizzy’s warning with a shake of her other hand, wiggling her other hand at her. “A deal, a promise, your word, I don’t care what you want to call it, it’s a pact between two friends and warriors.” When Lizzy finally did take her hand though, she shook it firmly before releasing it. “…I don’t think there will be any training today though…ah…you do need to go see Mac still, right? I think I’ve held you up long enough.”

"Don't take demon pacts lightly," She frowned, obviously worried that Hel didn't seem to be bothered at all; sure, she didn't want everyone to freak out whenever a demon asks to shake their hand - she's thinking of you, Mac - but it was good to be conscious at times, "Some demons will make pacts just to use you and there is no way out of such a deal except for permanent death..."
She returned the firm shake before nodding, standing up and dusting her skirt down, "Yes, I do... But I'm glad we got to talk. I'll see you again soon!" With that, she smiled and walked back to the path heading for the reaper dorms, feeling like she would be able to sleep a little better at night.

Yeah, Hel probably wasn’t taking the topic as seriously as she should have been. “I don’t make promises I don’t intend to honor or keep, Lizzy.” Was all Hel said further on the topic.
When the spider demoness stood, the reaper did as well. “Yes…talk…I am as well.” Hel rested her hands on her hips and watched the spider demoness make her way into the reaper dorms. She didn’t feel any better than before this conversation…and maybe if anything, she felt worse. Lizzy was totally unaware of what Mot was feeling…and yet he was…
The reaper sighed.
This was more complicated than it needed to be.
Hel went for a walk.
