Crown blushed and shook his head, "No.... I wasn't there. My mother was pregnant with me during that fight, she can't fly properly because her wings are so small but she wore herself out none the less to get a message to your Scythe, your great-grandfather. She knew it was the only back up Maion and the others would get if things went wrong." He consdered who the green stallion was, "Ab.... I think his name was Ab, Abloec or something. I don't know much about him."

Shaking her head and shruging, feeling better and dryer, but it was so snuggly under his wing. Wiggling out after a bit of time and smiling up at him. "That was so nice and warm. Thank you!" Looking round having lost interest in the random green stallion as it wasn't Crown, but the hero worship was still in her eyes. "I'm gonna ask daddy as soon as I see him and then I'd really like you to teach me some things, please!" Looking up at him and smiling, on cloud nine because this stallion had treated her like she was big, feeling much bigger than her small frame could manage.

Crown nodded, feeling the loss of her small frame. "You're welcome." He smiled at her, his body feeling worn out after his long exercise. Tomorrow was his night off then he would have a full week of duties, they had decided to try and give Maion some slack so he could spend time with his pregnant daughter, no one was really sure how the old guardian felt about it but everyone was secretly happy for Io and her mysterious partner... perhaps that was Maion's issue? He hadn't met the stallion, at Least Chandra had introduced Sonnet to him first, Crown had heard the pair had been inseperable since foals, learning to fly and play together from the beginning.
Crown sighed, "Let's take you home. I am sure you Dad will be back soon." Sure ther herd land was afe, but Crown was still protective of the little filly.

She grinned and nodded. "Ok!" Bouncing, and butting against his side. "Don't be sad, you were all smiles just now! Besides when I'm bigger I'll be able to kick your butt till you smile!" That probably not something that would make him smile if she actualyl did it but she was definately happy at the idea of being able to take Crown on, of being on equal footing with him and the other protectors. She was going to do it too, and she would get a lesson or two with Sofiel, and maybe if she asked really nicely, the old flutter would let her friend come along to. Bouncing round Crows legs, still full of energy.

Crown smiled down at her, pure and innocent. He admired her for that, all energy and dreams. "I'm not that sad," he said nipping her mane gently, "Not when you smile up at me like that." he winked at her and started to walk towards the tree he had seen Chandra and Sonnet use since Chandra had first fell pregnant.
It didn't take long for them to get there, Crown nodded to Heze's mother Chandra before turning his attention to Heze, lowering his head next to her ear so only she could hear he said, "Be good for your mother.... and one day I may just let you kick my butt!" He smiled, nodded his goodbye to everyone and started off to his own bedding down spot.

Heze turned as he left, having taken a moment to process what he had said, stomping a hoof and calling after him. "There won't be any Let! Just you wait and see!!!" After her outburst she decided not to blow a rasberry after him, she liked him too much to be THAT cheeky and disrespectful. So she turned and snuggled up to her mothers side, and behaved as she had been asked to.
