Okay…he was coming over. It was time now!
“Hello.” Hel greeted in return, watching as he leaned against the wall…and then delivered his line. What? What? That was so…corny! Hel’s mouth hung open…and then she face palmed. Roch was even laughing at himself, and the reaper scowled. “It was terrible. Aren’t we supposed to be taking this seriously?” She reminded him with a shake of her head. “Again!” Though was Roch moved away, he would hear a snort of amusement from the valkyrie.

He grinned as he heard the snort while walking away. Oh, yeah, he really sucked at this, but... He bet he could make her laugh!
Again, stop by the plant at the end of the half wall, straighten your clothes, turn-- Roch's way of walking changed. It turned into this saunter, one that had his hands in his pockets and a little grin on his lips. It was weird how natural the boil appeared to saunter, smoothly coming to a stop in front of her.
"Hi," he said. "You're a reaper, right? I can show you my scythe if you show me yours!"

Hel shook her head, wiping that amused smirk off of her face as Roch walked away. Okay, time to be serious again. She watched as the boil turned around, straightened out his clothes and then sauntered over to her. Whaaaaat? Oh snap! This reaper boil was pulling out some game, apparently! You know how one walked was a good indicator of their personali—
The effort was demolished as soon as he delivered a new line on her.
He was trolling her. Hel just stared at him.
“…No. I’m a spookie demon.” She started, staring at him with a flat expression. “How dare you assume I am a reaper. I don’t want to see your scythe.” Hel maintained this unimpressed expression for a good long moment before her lips twitched, and then she snorted in amusement. The ghoul looked off to the side and gave a short laugh. “Roch! I thought this was supposed to be serious! I hope these aren’t your honest attempts!”

He laughed. This was entertaining!! Except--"Hey, hey, ARE there spookie demons?? Cuz I would LOVE to get to know one of those!" he said, getting enthusiastic. "Demonic spookie powers--wait, unless they did the whole spookie outfit thing, that would suck... it DID suck... well, sort of. I swear he overbaked me."

Were there spookie demons?
“Uh…” Hel looked up at the ceiling, pondering. “…I’m…not certain, actually.” She just spouted off the first thing that came to the top of her head. Which were spookies apparently? Oh well. “Wait…” Hel looked back at Roch. “…Spookie outfits? You wore a spookie outfit?”

"Yeah, I'll tell you about it later, though," he said. "We're doing something here, right?" Before she could reply he walked away, stopping next to the plant and thinking for a second before turning towards her again.
This time his walk was serious, and a little frown was on his face as he stopped in front of her. "Hey," he said. "I'm havin' a bit of trouble, actually. Could you help me out?"

“Ah, fair enough.” Hel agreed. She watched as he wandered off, and then came back.
Oh..wait. What? Had Roch suddenly remembered something that was wrong? Hel was genuinely concerned! “Oh? What’s wrong? I’ll do whatever I can!”

"Yeah," he said, shoving his hands deeper into his pockets. "See, I broke my heart the other day... you think you could help me fix it?" Then he looked at her through his lashes.

She wasn’t sure how, but Hel suddenly stumbled to the ground after hearing that line.
That’s how bad it was.
The reaper laid there in a heap on the floor for a long while, in complete shock, before started to crack up. She then rolled onto her back, and just started to howl with laughter. “Roch!” She wailed in amusement. “That was absolutely terrible! You should be ashamed!” But she was laughing, oh was she laughing.

He grinned at her shamelessly, crouching down beside her. "But you are pretty cute when you laugh," he told her cheerfully. "Want to go on to the next part?" he added, holding out a hand to help her up. "We're surrounded by food, we should at least eat something!"

Hel was chuckling, until Roch called her cute.
She scowled, pushing herself into a sitting position. “I’m not cute!” She corrected firmly. “Mot told you to say that, didn’t he?” Damn that rascally cowboil! Regardless, she took his hand, allowing his help in being pulled back up to her feet. “Next part…? Alright…” She looked back at all the different vendors in the food court. Hmm.. “Yes…something to eat sounds good! You can pick, friend, I do not care.”

Roch blinked. Cute? She got mad at the word cute? Huh... Oh well, he thought, looking around. "Pizza?" he said. "I gotta tell you about this guy at school named Charlie if we eat pizza, though!" he said, tugging her towards the pizza place. "Have you met Charlie?" he asked over his shoulder, grinning widely.

The reaper perked up at the word pizza, and a small grin came to her lips. “I love pizza!” She announced, and looked even more amused when Roch brought up Charlie.
She was a bit taken aback that she was being dragged by the punk reaper now, but oh well. She followed along with him to the pizza place, giving him a firm nod of her head. “I have! I heard he was a master on pizza, so I sought him out and he took me to go get some! That was my first time trying it. It was delicious.”

He laughed. It was a wicked, highly amused laugh that clearly showed something horrible was about to be revealed. "Charlie REALLY likes pizza. But me--I won the school eating competition. Against a grue," he added. "So here comes this pizza delivery guy, looking like he's lost and with a pizza in his hands, so I figure--well, he's gonna be late, right? So I'll buy the pizza!"
He looked at her, shrugging. "Shame it was Charlie's, y'know?"

Hel looked up at Roch as he laughed rather evilly. Ooh, story time? She liked stories! Heh, Charlie really did like pizza, and that was right! Roch did win the eating contest! Ugh…the eating contest. She remembered getting thrown up on by that mind flayer. Gross. Anyways, back to the story! She continued to listen, and once the last line was delivered, Hel snorted, loudly.
“It was Charlie’s?!” She echoed, terribly amused. “Roch, that’s terrible! But finders keepers, I suppose? You know, Charlie took me to a pizza place in town…and then…” She leaned a bit closer to the punk reaper, her tone lowering so that they wouldn’t be overheard. “…When it was time to pay…Charlie had a brilliant plan…he ran out the door screaming, distracting the owners, and I scrambled after him…we skipped out on our bill!” The ghoul snorted, “But I had the seeds to pay! Charlie didn’t know.”
