 Cord smiled and said, "Don't worry about us. If we get infected you'll be next anyways." His smile was dopey and caring, but he shook his head and said, "I'm fairly certain my brother and I won't be infected. Our clan is resilient to most forms of disease, however we will see how things play out." He turned and said, "Right brother?"Kory looked over his shoulder and said, "I'm more worried about the student hurting himself with that naginata than I am about myself being infected. I'm not really worried about fighting close range, but try not to let them get in to close." He waved his hand and said, "Brother, you should rest until you are needed. For now you are of more use to me joined than you are separated. And you can still talk to the boy that way without wasting your energy. If you get weak and die because of it I won't forgive you."Cord's mouth curled up into that awkward smile before he said the words, "When your right, your right brother." He turned to the boy and said, "Your name? I don't believe you have shared it with us yet. I am Cord, and the blue haired individual is my elder brother Kory, though we were only born a few seconds a part."Kord snapped in with, "Seventy seconds is more than a few brother."With that Cord trudged towards his brother and merged with him, the skin melting together like Kory was made of water. The red haired brother was right about that. While Karasu could defend himself he wouldn't be able defeat some people. If they were infected ninja then he was sure that there would basically be some tanks out there that could take any hit he could throw. "Do you talk trash on everyone openly? A real people person.." He shook his head a little bit, but not too obviously. Then at the mention of names Karasu paused. Had he really forgot an introduction? It was so like him. "I am Karasu. Karasu Kaguya." As then talked about being born only moments apart it made Karasu think of Katsuro. Where was he? Was he sent here for this too. Was it possible that he was one of the infected?

It took no notice of the damage done to it. It rushed them some more, it had no morals, it had no mercy, it just wanted to devour all. ... and once again, Masaraku's verbal diarrhea proves her ignorance. Never once did he mention using healing jutsu on the zombies. However, he did come up with a plan.
Batsu scratched the side of his face and stared at the ground. "How about listening first before spewing off at the mouth? I have an idea, but it will take teamwork. If zombie blood can contaminate a human, then it's similar to poison. All one has to do is use chakra to suck it out and they'll be back to normal. That will add another member to the team and the more we do it then the better chance of survival we have."
"Being as I am a medic and I can manage my own chakra really well II just need someone that can weaken the zombie just enough for me to get the job done. Now if you want to go on a killing spree then be my guest. However, my proposed way will give us a greater chance of survival. After all, the only one capable of having a great shot of attack is you... and eventually you'll run out of steam."

She shot him a look of death. "I heard you, but I'm a bit more concerned with the matters at hand than waiting on these two to show up ..." She pointed at Mizurio and the kid that was wondering around lost. "Not to mention more concerned about the fact that I have to worry about the ditzy one, on top of worrying about myself and you." She didn't think she had to worry about Mizuiro as much. "And your plan has a massive flaw in it Batty-sue. You have to get in close enough to grapple a zombie ... good luck with that, because if it fails and you get turned I will have no remorse when I kill you for your stupidity." She got in closer to him and lowered her voice, "And I'm all about friendly name calling, but you need to stop treating me like I'm stupid. I think real time, not long term, that doesn't make me stupid." His disrespectful attitude was getting to her, so she turned her attention to her clansman, "Your fellow student seems oblivious ... is he new?" She wanted to ask him why he hadn't graduated yet, but felt it was neither the time or the place for that question.

Rai looks over and sees two people arguing. He tilted his head to the side and watched them banter back and forth. It was the only people he had scene since he left. He waved and started to run towards them awkwardly carrying the large metal fan. As his feet picked up pace the fan clipped his stride short and sent him head over heels. He slid to a stop his face in the dirty at their feet he sat up and spat out the dirt he had collected in his mouth. He brushed himself off and looked up at the two. "So what exactly is going on? I mean. I haven't seen anyone in a while. Luckily I saw you two in what looked like an argument and figured I could help... In some way at least. " He bowed his forehead touching the ground. "My name is Raikane. It's a pleasure to meet the two of you."

Tenshi looked at the girl who had just shown up and announced herself as Kaede from Konoha. He had never met anyone outside the village, much less worked with one, but he would have to deal. Not that he minded, after all she was good-looking and even though a little nervous, it wasn't like no one else wasn't either. Fighting a horde of undead... even though it sounded cool, the fight would be gruesome. He bowed his head to her, "Hello Kaede-chan. I'm Fubuki Tenshi an academy student of Kirigakure. So how about we kick some zombie butt!" For some reason he was rather excited to kill already dead ninja. How hard could it be to kill a corpse?
He assumed the other teams were fighting already and they hadn't even started yet. the buildings though were very intimidating. Sure the Fubuki Compound was large, but not as tall as these buildings. "Stick together and communicate, that's what I say. If we fail at communication then we won't know who is infected or not." He really wanted to avoid getting infected. He couldn't imagine how it was to turn...

Masa just stared at the boy, dumbfounded. She looked at Batsu and motioned back and forth between the two before saying, "And you expect me NOT to punch him in the face!?" She stared at the kid a little bit longer before reaching out and smacking his candy bag down. She closed her eyes and her body shook in rage. "Your gonna be the guy that causes us to fail aren't you? The weak link in the crew." She paused and squared off with him before continuing her speech. "Put on your thinking cap and wake the ******** up. Your on a mission, and obviously you skipped the briefing, how you even got to the city, much less the right part of it is a complete mystery to me, but you are off to a bad start. There is an infection in this city that has raised the dead, we have orders to kill every last one of them and cleanse the city of the infection. It is spread through fluid exchange, don't ingest their blood or spit and don't get bit. Sever the spine or brain to kill them." She walked back toward Batsu and said, "If its going to be like this, he's your problem. I don't have sympathy for him at all. I'll take care of Mizuiro, he's blood so I have a bit more of an attachment, but if Raikane becomes a liability and jeopardizes this mission ..." She turned to her clansman and said, "You were briefed on all of this beforehand Mizuiro?" It came out as a question. A question she expected to be answered yes.

Rai looked abashed. He quaked with anger and moved the fan to strike her. He stopped half way before it left the ground and looked her over making mental note. 'Hot-headed but goal oriented. Quick to judge. Low self esteem? That would explain the anger easily. Oh well. If she thinks I'm just dead weight that just makes it easier to go under the radar. I just need to remember to stay out of her way. I don't stand a chance against her.' He moved the fan to help himself up. He knelt down and pick up a wrapped sucker. "I see... How I see it.. I thought would it hurt to have one more person? The least I can do is be a distraction if I can't pull my own wait. Don't be so quick to judge someone...Hot-head." He unwrapped the sucker and glared back at her. He wasn't going to be afraid just cause she's up in a tiff. He leaned on the fan waiting for her to explode. Or for an objective. He figured the first was going to happen and THEN if he was still alive an objective.

Kamesori's flurry of lightning quick strikes had left three of the four zombies chopped up on the floor. Still, it appeared that one of them, who was in very bad shape, was still holding together by a dangling piece of skin. The zombie gathered just enough strength to launch one extremely slow attack at Kamesori who barely had to move aside to dodge.
As a riposte, Hiru and Kamesori both struck the zombie with crossing blows, Hiru striking counter clockwise with Samehada at its torso and kamesori clockwise at its neck, hoping to chop it down like a pair of scissors.

I don't need arrogant little pricks on my team who stroll up late without even knowing that they were on a mission because they were to good to go to the debriefing. I need capable fighters and level headed thinkers that can react to things in a moments notice. Your lucky that you didn't get grabbed by a zombie on the way over here, wondering around like a lost child and sucking on your lollypop like you're completely oblivious to the fact that you may very well die today." She stuffed her ponytail into her hood, pulling it over her head and pulling her mask up. She looked at Batsu and said, "I don't care if you object, but I'm going to take charge here. If we can restrain a zombie, we'll try things your way, but I would rather you first try to remove the virus from a mostly dead one, something tells me that the virus is the only thing keeping them alive." She looked at the group and said, Mizuiro, you and I will take the lead, I'll take the right flank, you take the left. Rai, stay in the middle. Your the weakest link, but you still have a set of eyes. Batsu, bring up the rear, we'll plow em down from the front and you pick off the scraps in the back. We'll need your superior vision as well. If you get into trouble, or if you see trouble, yell. Stay close, stay tight, stay away from their mouths." She looked at the group for signs of disagreement.

"Take the lead. I don't care. But when the plan fails, its over your head not mine. ... and your formation sucks. If I'm in the back then how will you utilize my sight. If anything, put me up front or close to it. That way when the zombies head our way then we can prepare faster."
"One more thing, you put me in charge of the new kid. Therefore if you lay so much as a finger on him then you'll catch an arrow through the head before you knew what was coming. You do as you wish with your fellow Hoshigaki. Leave the other alone."
Batsu loaded one of his arrows straight into his crossbow before turening and looking at Raikane. "I'm Batsu. Your friendly medic and archer. Just do your best and I'll make sure you're covered." The genin then flashed a friendly smile at the other.
