Asch's fever had come down significantly that morning and was barely even there anymore. However, that didn't mean he was well yet and he still looked and felt like crap. Although not quite as much as the last two days. While Asch had appreciated Vahy'n's efforts during his illness, his thoughts were obviously elsewhere at the moment for he didn't notice the Vaporeon's confusion.
"" Saber explained to Vahy'n. That had been Saber's impression of the situation anyway. Judging from his master's reaction to the news, it seemed to be correct.
Tyke whined softly and jumped up on the side of Asch opposite from Vahy'n to lean against him, trying to offer comfort.

Vany'n glanced over to Saber when he explained, but she didn't reply, blinking a couple of times, the striped Vaporeon lowered herself slowly into a sit, her fins lowering back down a little.
This was a life where they died... it was typical for a criminal life, gangs lived like that, and what was Team Rocket but an organized gang... but with children. so young...
She lowered herself down next to Asch, looking up at him quietly. She couldn't say she felt for this organization, she didn't like them at all. But she saw a very human reaction in Asch, a sympathetic one.

Asch stayed like that for several minutes, silently trying to sort out his feelings and grief. Saber and Tyke stayed with him, quietly offering their support. Eventually he lifted his head and looked at the sparkling Labradorite necklace in his hand. It was a precious thing, especially if it had meant so much to her and she had actually wanted him (and Izaya) to have it. He didn't quite understand why Izaya had turned down the pendant, but he would hold onto it. If Izaya ever changed his mind, he could come get it. Asch wouldn't deny someone of that.
However, he didn't really know what to do with it.
Sighing softly, he looked to Tyke and Saber, then to Vahy'n and paused. The beautiful Vaporeon was bedecked in jewelry. What would one more piece be?
"This was hers. I will trust you with it for now." Asch told her quietly, before reaching around the Vaporeon to place the jewelry around her neck, above the finned ruff. He would let her borrow it until he found some other use for it. It suited the Vaporeon.

Vany'n continued to watch Asch in silence, unsure of what she could do to help with something like this, or even if she had a right to. Losing someone close to you was a pain no one should face... but it was a reality everyone would at one point have to face in one way or the other.
Large yellow eyes blinked at the young man when he turned his green gaze onto her, lifting her head a little wondering why he was watching her like that. It wasn't until a golden chain, a beautiful golden chain was placed on her, and he expressed the use of it that she tilted her head.
"Vapor...?" Her fins flattened a little, looking back at him with a puzzled expression... why her? why would he want her to look after it for now?

But her question went unanswered as Asch's expression was a bit of a distant one, likely thinking to himself and not noticing the puzzled look on the Vaporeon's face. He stared at the pendant on the necklace that now hung around Vahy'n's neck, the labradorite sparkling in different colors.
Eventually his gaze focused again and he looked back up into the Pokemon's eyes. "There will likely be a memorial for her. Will you come with me?"
After all he'd put Vahy'n through, he wouldn't be surprised if she refused. However, he was giving her an opportunity to go out beyond this room.

She was left to figure out her question to herself, she wasn't upset about it, he seemed to have more on his mind then that. She just let it be.
Then a question was addressed to her. and she tilted her head to the side once again. go to a memorial. Here Vany'n remained quiet for some time. remembering the last time she went to a memorial... a lot of it really does depend on the ones you go with... the kind of support... it was more important then one could imagine. Still... once again, why her? why was he considering her in so much.
It confused her. but she had a good heart... how could she honestly say no to something like this? when asked so genuinely. Plus, it was a chance to get out of the room.
Again, she nodded softly "Por..."

Asch simply nodded and sighed to himself, tilting his gaze away again in thoughtfulness.
He was still sick though, and that fact was settling on him again as the physical and now emotional exhaustion crept up. With the meds and some more rest, he hoped to kick this virus within a day or two.
With that in mind, Asch quietly crawled back into bed, where he had been before he left.
Tyke and Saber, who had been watching quietly all this time, turned this gaze from their master to Vahy'n. This had been quite the turn of events. Both of them were a bit confused as well. Tyke's ears also drooped in sadness.

Wordlessly, she watched Asch crawl back over into his bed, and lay down... her shoulders relaxed a little, he was where he should be while he was sick. Once he was settled in, she turned her head toward the other two pokemon, sighing softly as she stepped over and gently nudged her muzzle under Tyke's chin.
She couldn't exactly say anything though, she continued her job, making sure Asch was comfortable, and his fever was not going to be worse, with him getting up, and the added stress.
