{ FINALE } Domain of Time (PAGE 2)

Yet another flash of light heralded the arrival of yet another Amityville student. The instant his feet touched the floor Herryk was frozen in place. It took a few disjointed, bewildered moments for Herryk to regain his composure.

One second there was an empty space between LW and Mei. The next, there was a rather curiously positioned zombie between them. Certainly he had his fists up as if ready for a fight, but his expression upon materializing was one of anxiety, worry. And, well, he was as sturdy looking as a stick. A thin, green-glowing-uniformed, undead stick.

It didn't help that upon arriving, Mortimer was bombarded with enough information to cause his brain to buzzzzzz audibly, like an old PreC that was downloading something at the slowest pace ever.

First off, the group of reapers (?) off to their far right. None of them he had seen at the beginning of the field trip, but apparently not a lot of the students seemed to like them. Second, the cloaked figure who had frozen them in place, commenting on something about arrangements. Third, the mention of people being taken - he only recognized Freya's name, as they had talked a little on Groanspring before the trip, but . . . Wait. Someone had taken them? The reapers? The cloaked one?

Fourth, Mei had a boilfriend. This was news.

Fifth, said boilfriend was explaining these reapers were "hunters". "Humans". "Armed, malevolent, and bitter". The zombie's eyes widened as a mixture of different emotions went through him. He had been a human once, his mother had told him, and it was only through a friend's IOU did she find him and bring him to Halloween Town. Could he have been this terrible in a former life . . . ?

Too much information, not enough time to process it. Mort's bewildered face towards his teammates said it all.

Even though the boxer had a frozen body, it still didn't stop him from trying to wiggle free somehow, grunting in effort but not even getting a finger to wiggle.

"Yeah, its a horrible time to get an itch on my nose though." Leon commented back to the cowled wonder as he twisted and contorted his face in a manner of ways as the itch continued to be a nuisance.

The moment Roch could move he took a step forward, his guitar coming up. Then he brought it down again, looking at the ghost suspiciously. "So we just go through that?" he drawled. "Last time I went through a suspicious lookin' door I got blown up."

But almost idiotically he headed for the door, stepping through.

Gale eyed the hooded thing in front of them as he felt his limbs move again, albeit a little stiffly. He wasn't entirely certain where they were headed, but something told him that it would not be pretty.

He slanted a gaze sideways at Bix. Then, wordlessly, he spun the rifle in his hands up onto his shoulder and disappeared through the door.

Remi looked up at the ghost curiously... as he felt him gain control of his body once more. Roch's words rang true in his mind... every door they have walked through up to this point was yet another trial.

"What the hell." He shrugged, and followed after. His hands shoved into his pockets as he approached the door. A door was a door right? They came THIS far...

Plus Roch made it through without blowing up. Things were looking up!

Almost as soon as he'd arrived Herryk followed the others through the door. There was no reason to stay here any longer.

As soon as Savior had stepped into the white light she found herself somewhere full of people - others that she didn't know - and across the way even more. A few of the students around her seemed agitated, did they not want to be here? And what were those things did it really matter to the monster? But...okay, well there was Holly.

"Horree." The Marrowstripe made her way over towards the fox-ghost once she was able and took her hand, a worried look on her face. Both girls were a bit beat up, West and Levi were not there, and Savior had no idea what was going on. The last part didn't upset her as much as the first two parts, but everyone seemed to be going into a weird door now what. "Wut now, Horree." Savior had told the magical talking dogs that she wanted to be with her friends, so whatever Holly did Savior would do.

Bul was no sooner prepared to leave when it was time, he was swift to respond. The time was now... but on the otherside Bul would have a bad case of DEJAVU.

Cady had probably been standing in the room for several minutes.

She had no idea of this because she had so far kept her eyes squeezed shut the entire time. That flash of light- that was what always came before the visions. The horrible, horrible visions. However, she could hear people talking - and at least one of them had been Bul!

She squinted out at the room tentatively, but soon opened her eyes wide in shock. What WAS this place? And...Why were they here? Cady hissed involuntarily at the hunters, fists clenching. She went to surge forward- and found she was frozen in place. It was all their fault, somehow. The dreams, everything. She was almost as afraid as she was angry. She couldn't let the visions come true. She had to maintain control.

"Where..." She barely had time to begin the thought, as the robed figure in front of them opened some kind of portal, and in went a somewhat familiar guitar-weilding boil.

She tried to make eye contact with her team. She thought she remembered seeing Bea come through before her...

As soon as she could move, she followed the other boils into the portal.

Annnnd they could move again. Her tail swished in part annoyance and part fear. She stared at the door and the fellow students shrugging and just walking through it. LW hesitated in doing so. It made her nervous and on edge that there was yet another hooded figure here as well as the humans. The she-wolf glanced to her side at Mortimer (thank Jack he had made it alright as well) and Mei. Oh and Bul was here too! But still no boils from Skulker. With a resigned sigh, LW took a deep breath and followed the others through the door.

W-what... What was this? What was happening?

The door. The door was open now. What would be waiting for them out there? Looking over at Shun and Mitsu, her eyes settled on the tick tocking guy before moving. "Might I suggest an off switch for that contraption?" Those were her last words before she too stepped through the door to Jack knows where.

Bea arrived brlinded from the flash of white light. When her sight came back to her, she found herself in a colorful room. She was clutching onto her side bag as she was looking around for familiar faces. Seeing as Bul and Cady arrived before her, she instantly gravitated towards them.

"Guys?" she said with an unsure voice and immediately followed them through the door.

As things came to a still, another figure stepped into the room, pacing himself without much trouble. Conquest walked with as much purpose and stance as he usually did. However, it seemed that even the Horsemen was put off by the appearance of the hunters when he entered, his mood seeming to foul up ever so slightly. For a moment, one hand held out in front of him - he was going to attack without a word.

But it seemed even he was to be a victim of the phantom of time, frowning in disapproval as his line of thought was interrupted. Only when he was relinquished again did the Horseman move again. They were to be herded, mm? He didn't like that at all. Instead he seethed as he walked towards the door they were being asked to exit.

Good luck? He did not need good luck. He would simply walk on his own and see what came of it.

Yes, he'd see what came of it indeed.

Cass crinkled her nose at all the quips from the abominable creatures about smell and stink. Peh. They were all disgusting..though she probably did need a shower when they got home, so that much was attributable to just working too hard.

Like these things knew anything about that, though.

It seemed after some time, however, they were relinquished to be herded on.

"Looks like it's time to bring this on." Cass grinned, also heading towards the door as well, her hands on her chain belt. She'd just whip that thing out the second she got outside.
