"Unfortunate Junior Brother, Hermit's Philosopher, and Scrappy Protector" As Yue moved on and fed, he felt he was picking up at least a tiny bit of speed. He made a grab for a couple. Literally, a boy and girl who were trying to escape together. Young love was so grand. Unless it came to an early end at the hands of a distraught undead teenager who was at the wrong place at the wrong time, of course. Minori Koroko Eyes stared in disgust and pity, the guy that had just helped her turned into one more to the zombie army. The blond frowned, pushing herself back away from him, her weapon aiming at him, but missing the deadly shot to the head (grazing his cheek as he lunged towards innocent people). The girl cursed, crushing one zombie's face with the butt of her gun that had pulled too close to her, shaking her head. "Dammit... we were too slow."But she wouldn't let more of the survivors get snatched away by those undead bastards! The girl ran at the opposite direction, trying to get as farther away from the swarm of monsters as possible...but they were everywhere! Two more fell to her attacks, blood, guts and pieces of brain splattering all over the place. She gagged, and her eyes narrowed slightly, but...she needed to go on. Abandoned buildings blurred as she passed, shooting away one of the zombies that had gotten on her way. She jumped passed him, never stopping. If only she could get out of the streets...  Al AzifBodies dropped around Al Azif as she stood there, free from their bites and their hunger despite the incredible swarm that had seeked to pull the heroine of justice into the darkness. The girl swung the machete to the side, quite accustomed now to using it in tandem with the knife. Fighting for your life was a great motivator for learning, and the girl whirled around, beheading another zombie as it came at her. Indeed, though the darkness was trying, it had yet to succeed against her... and she smiled just a bit as she waved to Minori. Perhaps by fighting together, they could turn back the tide of darkness and give peace to these tortured souls. Or, uh, something. She was a little sad that she was getting to kick her opponents much less often now, but that was an acceptable thing in the face of killing zombies in a more efficient manner. Hopefully, this group would at least be whittled down soon, and they'd be able to take a break for a bit. If not, well, she'd just do what she could to end this zombie menace properly. Fighting evil things was an important part of being a heroine, after all. What mattered was that he was still moving, and still hungry for more humans. Unfortunately, the girl that had shot at him and caught his attention was soon gone out of sight, so with a grunt, he turned his attention to the panicked survivors caught in the ambush. He grabbed a boy by the wrist and when he tripped, he was caught by other zombies, Yue joining them. With a feral shout, he grabbed a woman nearby and sunk his teeth into her neck, hungry lifeless eyes already scanning for more.Quote: Humans Devoured: 2 Total Humans: 6

Head of the Raion Clan “Let the bodies hit the floor,” Jin sang under her breath, her eyes a blaze. There was so much chaos around here to feed on, this was a battlefield between the living and the dead and the lady demon couldn't help the blood lust bubbling in her veins. No, nothing could help that except sinking her knife into a few rotters and spilling their decaying life juice out onto the pavement. They were around her, shuffling on sluggish limbs, looking to feed and for a moment the lioness felt like taunting them. 'Come get a tasty lion burger,' she silently commented and leaped at the nearest zombie. Her knife entered the zombie's gullet and traveled upwards, the lioness applying both her strength and the momentum of her leap into the attack. They were on the ground now and she was stabbing and slashing like there was no tomorrow. Oh, the zombie been human once, but she didn't put much stock into that – it was deader than dead now. Jin pulled her knife out of the zombie for the last time and dove off of him, rolling quickly to her feet. She knew she couldn't afford to leave herself open, no, not when there were so many delightful things to take down.Quote: Zombies killed - 1 total - 1

"Unfortunate Junior Brother, Hermit's Philosopher, and Scrappy Protector" Yue was beginning to get his hands on more victims as time passed. Oh these panicking survivors. some of them had weapons of course, but if you didn't know how to use them...a knife cut into his arm, but he didn't seem to slow as he trapped a man and bit into his neck, slowly killing him. Another woman stopped, probably knew him or something, and Yue turned and used her panic as the perfect time to grab her by the neck and pull her int quite the deadly close encounter. Tossing both of them aside after he was finished with them, he seeked out another weaponless unfortunate and devoured the human, by now looking like quite the killer, bloody zombie.Quote: Humans Devoured: 3 Total Humans: 9

"Unfortunate Junior Brother, Hermit's Philosopher, and Scrappy Protector" Nothing came out of Yue's mouth except mindless grunts and groans of an undead as he devoured yet another panicked teenager. If it was remotely possible, he would be enjoying this feast quite well. His bandages were slowly removing themselves as he moved, but he didn't care anyway, as he avoided getting shot, by luck, by a passerby trying to defend himself and his buddy. Out of ammo, the gun clicked. That was when Yue grabbed the man's wrist and crunched into his arm. Screaming in pain, it panicked the friend and that second man went running, with Yue following close behind, only to find himself tripping, and Yue instantly on him, biting into the back of his neck hungrily.Quote: Humans Devoured: 3 Total Humans: 12

Al AzifAl Azif sighed a bit as she looked down at herself, then at the carnage that surrounded her. Literally dozens of zombies had been beheaded or otherwise rendered ineffective at the moment, and it seemed like their numbers were starting to thin out in this area... but she couldn't really hold back and not do anything else, right? It was more important to keep going and kill all of the zombies she could, rather than allowing them to keep rampaging. Besides, the bodies around here were really starting to pile up, and she didn't want to lose her footing because there were too many bodies around. Humming slightly, the girl began to move away from the gun store and towards another street, looking to get some footing that was at least still fairly secure. Right, then. She whipped around, beheading another zombie, and all the while cast her eyes about the area. What could she best do to take down the greatest number of enemies? She was starting to get tired, and for now, a short break wouldn't hurt... Al AzifBodies went flying as Al carefully carved a path through them. Though she did enjoy the idea of ludicrously over-the-top heroics, she was also sensible about doing them. Well, relatively sensible. The fact that she did them at all was the mark of a girl who was less than normal, but at least she usually took the time to try and do it right. The most ridiculous attacks were for single targets. Individual foes, such as these zombies, were best dispatched in small, efficient movements. She had to pay attention to her surroundings... keep escape routes open... and remember that everything she was doing was for the sake of great justice! And otherwise? She was looking forward to returning home; nobody would ever believe she'd been a part of this, of course, but hey. It wasn't like she committed acts of justice for the purpose of fame; no, she had other, more important reasons for the things she did. Which meant that though these zombies kept coming, she intended to keep killing them for as long as she possibly could. Oh the sweet sounds of the kill... well those were mostly missing, the zombies couldn't scream much or trade witty banter with her, or even get annoyed if she slipped back into her usual laid back self. That however wouldn't stop the lioness from taking out as many as she could until she succumbed to their numbers. Not that she was expecting that outcome, victory was what she so desired; bloody victory was calling her name, it's siren song so sweet and tempting... It came at the price of the lives of infected humans, as disgusting as they were, and possibly her own. But she could take them on, she had such a lovely knife. Jin kicked at a zombie that had gotten too close to her and knocked it back. As it stumbled back into attack mode she dove at it with her knife. Her blade striking true as she mercilessly carved at the undead being, taking care to avoid it's flailing limbs and it's teeth. Soon enough it was down for the count and she was left desiring a better blade. Oh, this lovely little knife would do for a few more zombies, but she desired something sharper.Quote: Zombies killed - 1 total - 2

Al AzifIdly, Al wondered what the United States Government was doing at the moment. Did they even know about the zombies? Reason suggested they might, but on the other hand, who'd actually believe something they were told on the internet about a zombie attack? Any footage might be thought to be filmed and touched up by special effects, and any phone calls could be written off as pranks. Americans were said to be pretty jaded about this sort of thing, she'd heard, so she supposed it was up to her to try and to her best without expecting too much in the way of help. The girl sighed a bit as she rested in a safe area, one she'd thoroughly cleared of nearby enemies. Once that was done, though, she looked up and smiled. She had faith in her athletic ability, and she always had been good at getting her energy back quickly. Though maybe she really ought to go look for some food in the near future, just to be on the safe side. It didn't hurt to plan ahead, after all, just in case. Far better to be safe than dead when you were dealing with the minions of evil, after all. Chasing them around the store when the idea of running out of the store hadn't crossed their scared minds? Minori Koroko  A pause to catch her breath. A small pause to brush away drops of sweat rolling down her forehead with shaky hands. But it was just that, a brief moment to recollect herself, and to start all over again. Swiftly, she reloaded from within her vest, smirking at the small 'click' the gun made, ready for action once more. Several bloodied corpses laid outside, the girl having found just the smallest window to hide inside one of the buildings before the undead spotted her. It was quiet for a moment, though, she couldn't say it was less unsettling than the moans gurgling from the monsters' throats. A quiet sigh escaped her, and with a quick inspection, the girl frowned to her tattered clothes and ripped sleeves. She had liked that blue shirt. Taking the cowgirl hat on her hand, and passing fingers through her now dirtied hair, Minori shook her head. How many had already died in hands of the creatures? How many of them had they killed already? And still, they kept coming. Idly, she brushed the small daisy on the hat before setting it back on her head. And that was when she heard it...
This place hadn't been as abandonded as she had initially believed, staggering and limping monsters starting to surround her from inside. "Give me a break..." Slamming her hands on the counter, fingers found the trigger of her revolver almost mechanically now, aiming at the zombies. Two shots...Three shots, and they were down.
She needed to move again.

And if he couldn't be one of them anymore, than might as well make a good meal out of them, right? He only seemed to be hunting more and more as time passed and he wasn't stopped.
