I'd like to check whether Kishin (an Archen colored like Ryuumama!) would be considered a shiny dominant/color variation recessive, like I think it would be. journal link

I can see a tad yellow as a base in the browns, so I think it can pass. xD

I was wondering if mewtwo armor from the movie would be too extreme of a lineart edit? Though I s'pose it'd be crazy expensive either way, right? The story, if I do manage to make this character, is that Team Rocket made a mewtwo by cloning some of my mew's (Shadow Mew) DNA. The armor is to help control her psychic abilities, just like in the movie. Either the Rockets made better armor this time, or Shadow's clone is just naturally more submissive, though. (Lemme know who I would have to go to to a-ok this plot, please? We need some Rocket Executive characters badly!) More on the clone's plot: Basically, Zinnia leaves Team Rocket and the Rockets aren't too happy about it. They want to punish Zin, or at the very least recapture her highly valuable mew. They manage to find some of Shadow's DNA (probably some shed fur) and use their precious time and resources to create a clone with the mission to subdue and bring back Shadow Mew. After the primary mission is accomplished, Team Rocket is sure to have other uses for the clone. (Not that I plan on the mission succeeding beyond a few close calls.) Thanks!

It's really an extreme edit...that I'm not against doing, but not sure what FFN thinks, as she's MIA e___e And yes, it would be crazy expensive for that extreme of an edit, especially since it will be an untemplated legendary. But I think that's a great plot ;o

JessicaH123 Would this Sneasal be considered as normal with color variation recessive? The black and light blue would make it normal with color variation recessive, yes :>

Not sure of coloration of these, a pair of snow dogs for a shy watcher/healer kid I'm hoping to play. I know the light colored lucario is full color variation dominant, unsure of dark Lucario(also CV?) and the Yena evo line versions (normal with CV recessive)?
Dark and Light Lucario, Mightyena Dark , Poochyena Dark

Dark and Light Lucario, Mightyena Dark , Poochyena Dark Lucario-- yes, also CV. If there's no blue, or the funny yellow color, it's CV. Poochy-- Shown is a CV dominant because of the white and dark grey. A normal coloration is a light grey (the 2 lightest shades on there count as normal). The two darker shades make it CV because of the portion of the body it covers (looks at least 50+%). Mightyena-- The mightyena would work as normal/CV recessive, however. :> (Are you kicking yourself about how the two's colors are in different places and thus, making customs that work for both really hard? 8D)

Lol! Yes, indeed, I have discovered that basing 2 Pokemon on one design is a pain in the butt, especially when I forget that poochyena's tail is almost a third of it's body and don't make adjustments. XP I don't really mind changing the poochyena up as needed if the mightyena is ok. *greatly relieved* Is this enough of the darker shades reduced for NORMAL/cv? I'd hate to have to leave it up to a poor colorist to interpret a poochyena design based on the evolved form's demo since I make pain in the rump designs in the first place, but I might end up having to, since I have that hardest time estimating percentages! ^^' Reduced colors 1,3,4,5

Would the color of red on this Purrloin be CV? And could the red brown on this Eevee be passed as CV if it evolves like this?

Neko_no_Yami Would the color of red on this Purrloin be CV? And could the red brown on this Eevee be passed as CV if it evolves like this? Purrloin-- Yep. Eevee-- Yep. You can say any color is CV, if you want it to stay that color when it evolves. I think the coat on the jolteon is a little too... brown/orange shaded to be normal, but it might be my computer... *squints at all angles*

D: these were the refs I used it it helps? x x x x Yea, but they're not jolteon sprites. xD The yellow on the jolteon doesn't look like a gold to me. If you're okay with a slightly more yellow tinted body, it could be normal. When I dropper tool the yellow on your ref, it's in the orange range, which is too far of a stretch to be called normal, sorry :<
