Name: Caldecott
Species: Meowth
Gender: Female
Coloration: Normal
Markings: Main color is a more cream color than the basic Meowth in the Extra pokedex, the brown is the average brown. Yellow eyes, many small brown stripes, paler along the belly and front paws. Stripes should be in the same place and amount as in the reference, though you can tweak the exact shape of them as you like.
Personality:
(not sure if I'll go with this any more, since it was written in the old shop when I only had one character)
Since she's young and inquisitive, she either explores and examines everything she can get her paws on, or constantly barrages Felix, who she views as a father-figure, with questions. She's a bundle of neverending energy and has a Meowth's typical love of shiny things.
History: One one of her few trips to Katarina, Anise was walking downtown with Felix, as usual, out of his pokeball and by her side. Suddenly Felix, both heard the sound of a young Meowth meowing pitifully coming from a nearby alley. They ducked into the alley to find that the little striped Meowth kitten, which was not yet old enough to be on her own, was inside a cardboard box, apparently abandoned. She brought the kitten to the Pokemon Center anyway, asking if anyone had lost such as kitten, and then to the police station. Since nobody claimed ownership for the baby Meowth, and since both Anise and Felix were now concerned for the little one, Anise took it upon herself to raise the kitten until she could fend for herself.
The kitten was thin and slightly malnourished, and although she had no real injuries, for a little while it was a struggle to care for her. Anise had plenty of use for her skills as a healer as she fed and cared for the little Meowth. Felix eagerly took charge of keeping her warm and comfortable, alowing the kitten to nestle beside him and grooming her carefully. Under the attentive care of Anise and her Delcatty, the kitten soon improved. When the kitten began to show her curiosity and tendancy for exploration, Felix tagged along with her and kept her from getting into any real trouble. Eventually Anise pronounced the kitten kit to be living on her own, but by that time Anise and Felix had become very fond of the kitten and did not want to see her go. Felix in particular seemed upset when Anise proposed that the kitten be returned to the wild.
Yet the kitten showed no inclination to leave, even when they set her down in a forest and walked away (with several backward glances.) The kitten had stood there for a moment, then meowed after then as they walked away. When she realized they were not turning back, she bounced after then and stuck to their heels. They tried ignoring her--or at least, Anise did. Felix, however, turned back to her and began washing the kitten with almost fatherly care as soon as she reached him. Anise soon agreed (with a show of reluctance) they the kitten could stay with them. The Meowth was soon named Caldecott, a name with all three of them agreed on.

Origin of the idea:
Many years ago, when I was just a kid, I drew a Meowth and happened to add stripes all over it it. I fell in love with the picture, and although I had never really cared much for Meowths before then, they quickly became one of my favorite pokemon. Since then I've drawn Meowths with the same striped markings several times.
Later on, I joined a pokemon RP/battling thing on a forum, and managed to obtain a striped Meowth. She was female and, through a trick of breeding, had yellow eyes. I named her Caldecott, after my cat's last name (my siblings and I gave him a first and last name, Oliver "Ollie" Caldecott), which in turn came from a book award (the Caldecott Medal.)
Now, since I love cats, Meowths, and my striped Meowth in particular, I wish to recreate my favorite Meowth.
