Athena sighed two wasted pokeballs, she was tring to decide wether she should try a third time, but she also needed to catch a healing pokemon. She made a quick dession, she could always come back with more pokeballs to get a healer later but who knew how long this wigglytuff would stay here. She tossed her last pokeball, she hoped she wasnt going to be the fool but she was out of chances if this one failed. Victor looked at her like she was stupid but he didnt let her know he thought that. The pokeball would shot staight for the guardian's forehead, would Athena get lucky or fail again.

The Cherubi stood up then. He got the message, he was on his own ....and since he was okay for the most part he shivered. Then looking up at the Gligar as she cursed the girl's family tree declares to her.
~If you are looking for the amber ....you have to travel through to morning~
The pokemon declares sharply.
~You need to go to the Timeforest, and that only appears at the end of edge of this forest in the morning hours. So you might have to camp over night.~
He declares and then he looks back at Jasmine with a bow of his head.
~The debt has been repaid~
Then the Cherubi took off with a quick sprint. It didn't want to stick to a human for too long ...some say the scent will get stuck on you.

The Wigglytuff pretty much destory the pokeball in the air as his hands would come together to crush it in between. A single pound, and Athena found herself failing to capture this pokemon as the Wigglytuff laughed openly and seemed to dance on one foot. A quick punch outwards once, a quick punch outwards twice, and he had his second wind and was ready for more ...as he waited for the attack to come or another pokeball.
It no longer mattered to him which.

Riku would entered a place that at noon could literally cook a man while he is walking and at night got so cold that insects would freeze in mid-flight. Purgatory desert was as the name suggested, a hell on earth, and it would seem that this was the place that Riku was to travel as she took the path of fire, but where that would lead her might have been hard to figure out ..if her first steps hadn't been upon the hole of a sandshrew. A pokemon that survived the desert heat by literally going underground ...as one head would pop a few feet away to take a good look at the girl.
Eyes the color of coal blinked as she tries to figure out what to make of this trespasser to her home.

::Jasmine could only look on in perplexion, bowing in turn for the Cherubi as it seemed the only option applicable for her, before it suddenly sped off into the undergrowth once more::
...Take care. ::She added, a little sadly as it ran off, but she couldn't complain, as long as she knew the Cherubi was fine...::
::Then there came a flap, before the familiar winged form of Lindbergh appeared, hissing irritably... message received... now she knew she had been wasting her time in all that searching through the trees...::
Any luck?
::Lindbergh rolled eyes... now how was she supposed to tell Jasmine?::
::How to explain to this stupid human they had to go to the forest edge and sleep over night?::
::Her eyes wandered, then fell upon the map Jasmine had been making, the drawings made with that stick... and sudden inspiration fell upon her, her tail swaying happily, before it struck the ground! Carving back and forth, until she made the symbol of flame, a single shape of fire::
::Jasmine looked down, studiously...::
Fire? ::A shake of the head::
...Flame... Ember- ::Jasmine stopped at a nod, realising:: Amber!
::Lindbergh sighed, this wasn't much better, but arms folded she kept going...::
::She carved a crescent moon slowly, then, making sure Jasmine watched, smoothed the shape clean, drawing instead a sun...::
...To find Amber... we need to wait until morning...?
::Lindbergh shrugged, good enough, at least the girl was quick on the draw, she just had to lead her in the right direction and hope nothing else happened here to them... hopefully the girl had a good plan with all this good karma, keep the forestfolk happy...::
::Jasmine looked up at the forest canopy, considering the light for a moment... feeling her stomache slowly, then looking to Lindbergh:: We're going to need to gather more supplies... if we're to stay a night here.
Food is one thing.
I guess we'll need to hunt down some Berries.
::Lindbergh turned her head up to the trees once more... she could start leading Jasmine through... the question was, could she remember having spotted any berries about nearby?::

Though Jasmine has a lot of luck ...whether it was good or bad was hard to figure out as a screech would rip through the air and both Jasmine and Lindbergh would find themselves under assault as a flock of Chatot's shrieked and cawed at them as they seemed to erupt from the trees.
Though one bigger than all the others went straight for Lindbergh with it's talons outstretched as it caws in human tongue.
"Intruders ...Intruders"
The bird declares sharply over and over before trying to ram it's beak quite literally down Lindbergh's throat.

::In an instant, the forest was a mass of rushing battlecries, of birds in human tongue, the colorful feathers swirled round and round, almost sealing them in place before Jasmine grabbed her trusty crutch again, trying to stadn as ready as she could::
Lindbergh, the big one-

[On it!] ::The pokémon positively hissed, the thing now closing upon her, she wasn't about to stand in place for a moment, she backed up there quickly, but it wasn't just to try and dodge backward, as she backed up, her tail stayed in place, pinned to the ground... and then, as the Chatot came in to land, her tail lashed the ground, propelling the Gligar skyward... if it was a batle they wanted, a battle they'd have!::
::She propelled herself up, the two passing each other in mid-air... and while it would try and land a blow with its beak, Lindbergh lashed out with her tail, looking to catch the side of the Chatot's face and that eye in particular with a nasty Poison Sting!::
::Jasmine didn't see what the Gligar was going for immediately, she stood ready... unsure herself what to expect... if they could stop the large one issuing orders, maybe the others would back off, but she looked back and forth:: We do not wish to disturb your forest... but we will not back down when challenged!
You know human tongue... if you do, then you can speak with me instead of fighting!

As Riku walked away from the pier and the area she had been dropped off at, she noticed the temperature rising rapidly. Soon it was getting hotter and hotter, and the girl swore it felt like a desert. Not like she'd ever actually been to one but still she had heard about them. She saw her surroundings seem to change as the trees started to thin out. The heat seemed to grow in intensity and the girl hoped she wasn't sweating much. She wasn't paying much attention, so she didn't see the Sandshrew pop it's head out.
Though his trainer didn't notice the pokemon, Ryuu did. He saw that Riku wasn't stopping and she was getting really close to where the pokemon was looking at them. The pokemon rushed forward, barely managing to get in front of his trainer and pushed her slightly backwards. He then turned around and glared at the Sandshrew before taking up a defensive position. >Don't come any closer or face the consequences.< Ryuu remarked, eyes narrowed.

((Sorry, but that only works in a true double battle. sweatdrop ))
Jasmine's swing would keep the Chatots away as they swirled and cawed. Though none wanted to take a chance on a broken wing to get at her ...at least not yet, while meanwhile the bigger Chatot had found her attack countered as she lost only a few feathers in that attack. Her wings spread wide as she floated on the winds in an attempt to get a bit further up as she moved backwards.
The Gligar had more of a sting to him than she had thought.

It was hard to determine if that was meant to be a warning or a challenge as the sandshrew snorted. This was her territory ...like hell she was going to let some new comer tell her what or what not to do as she pulls herself completely free from the ground. There was no hiding now ....as she shakes some of the dirt and grim off herself.
She smiled dangerously as she came closer and closer to them, and then dropping any pretense at kindness or gentliness as she came at her opponent with a straight claw out scratching.

((As for last posts, no prob, I can see you've been going through a lot of files today, make sure you get some full rest =D))
::The situation looked grim, surrounded by these Chatot, this meant there was truly no escape from this fight... none of them seemed in a particularly chatty mood either, everything was concentrated on Lindbergh...::
::The Gligar had hit, but this time, there was no further one-hit KO... she would trust and hold back, waiting until she was needed...::
::Lindbergh and the Chatot swirled, their wings filling with the wind, the pair spiralled up and around with each other in a strange type of dance, in one of the oldest dances there was in fact with battle joined...::
::Her eyes were fixed on her opponent... maybe she hadn't beaten the Chatot like the others, but she knew that she needed to hit, she needed to make her hits count and drive this home...::
::She turned in mid-air... and then the wind caught her, flinging her almost violently forward, but in control, as again she'd launch past, she struck, that infamous stinger now was onto her game, but could the Chatot stop the oncoming attack, or would she even feel it yet?

Riku had been walking along, more bothered with the heat then anything else when she was pushed backwards. She staggered, trying to regain her footing and barely managed not to fall. An almost one hundred sixty pound pokemon pushing her was not something to be dealt with lightly, even if he hadn't meant her harm. About to voice her protests, she then spotted what her Larvitar had noticed all along- a pokemon. To be more exact- a Sandshrew. It obviously wasn't friendly, well the girl didn't know about the communication between the two pokemon that had happened already, as the wild pokemon charged towards Ryuu with it's claw.
"Dodge it!"
Ryuu resisted the urge to roll his eyes. Oh so now his trainer finally noticed the pokemon that she had almost stepped on- which would totally have been a bad thing. It would have enraged the pokemon to attack her directly and this was not something he would stand by and watch. Ryuu watched wearily as the Sandshrew pulled itself out of the hole. It came close with a smile and then lashed out at him with claws. The Larvitar let the pokemon get close and then turned quickly letting it Scratch at it's back. Hopefully his armor would be strong enough to take an attack like this, as he hadn't had a chance to try and run to avoid it.

Through the Chatot is a bird of true flight, while .....the Gligar can only float. The pokemon almost sneered at the fact that it was imitating a traditional dance of flight. It wasn't a true creature of flight, and that anger made her spin on her own wings as she suddenly did a single upthrust to soar even higher than the Gligar ...much faster as she made it a point to cut through a swift right wind. A move that would force the Gligar if she followed to be buffer by it ...and more than likely pushed to the right and stopped from following her through and higher.
For she was a creature of true flight and she was going to show him what that meant as she started to charge up for Sky Attack.

It would work as the pokemon's claws wouldn't even put a dent in the lavritar's armor as she bounces back with a snare on her face. She hated to lose, and she hated it even more when it seemed that her opponent hadn't even bother to dodge her. Her eyes showed her rage as the sandshrew skips backwards a few paces ....and prepared for the incoming attack.
One claw would actually bend to egg it on. This was her territory, and like hell she would allow anyone to disrespect her on it.
