As soon as the boo appeared and Jude and Cass promptly flipped the ******** out at its sudden appearance, it was gone. Leon whirled around a couple of time just to make sure it wasn't trying to hide behind him or something but alas, no white shadow behind him. "Well, wasn't that interesting?" he said in a murmur, clearly upset of the fact that he didn't get a chance to punch the thing.

Peering over to Cass, he wasn't sure if he wanted to check if she was alright, might have been a moment of "Womanly Rage" popping up for the month or something.

What's that?

"Nothing that you need to know about right now Nid." he said softly to him, as to not get the attention of the others and what he was talking about and focus on the next room they were walking into.
He followed behind the two lovebirds quietly with only the scuffle of his shoes to be heard until the statues decided to speak up. Which was a sight to behold.

"So you give us no hints and just tell us to pick a door, like its the lottery?" he grumbled out and glared at one of the wolf body-human head statues, fully expecting it to ignore his question since they claimed that fishing for information was going to be worthless.

Jude shifted his shoulders at Leon as he crossed his arms over his chest seeming thoughtful for a moment, "One way or the other we have to go somewhere. We got places to be and things to do so we should just suck it up and pick a door if they aren't going to be helpful."

The young man's restlessness was showing through now that it was time to discuss a plan of action. People always took too long during this phase always talking and talking while time ticked away faster than he could blink. Opportunity would pass them by sooner or later if they kept it up.

"My vote is for the door on the left, since they aren't going to be helpful either way." Jude mumbled reaching up to rub at the side of his neck with a small annoyed sigh.

"Left? I could deal with that." Cass agreed firmly, seeming about ready to probably just go "LEFT LEFT LEFT" and barge through the door in question without giving anybody else a choice in the matter. Then again, she also seemed anxious and probably ready to break something if she needed to. Not that breaking things wasn't fun, but...
...
....

Well, between the talking statues (which she leered at suspiciously) and the boys in the room..
...
...

There weren't many options of things for the still unhappy huntress to assault. Well phooey. That was...uhh... shoot. Probably would have been a better idea to let her punch the ghost into submission, but it was gone now. For however long.

Leon watched with a blank face as Jude and Cass began screaming about left like some kind of parrot talking about "Mine." However he didn't see a reason why to question the choice, wasn't like the statue n the other side was bringing anything to the party.

"After being stuck in a freezer for heavens know how long, i'm willing to keep this moving, I'll pick left too." he said with a careless shrug.

If only punching the things was an option, the boxer would gladly oblige.

All Jeremy could do was stop and stare at Cass' rage and Jude's eventual smashing of the ghost. Uhh, wow. His team mates? Total rage cases. Huh. The Sun Hunter couldn't help but back up a step, just in case the rage was reflected and aimed at him. He might have been cast as front line, but he didn't want to die at the hands of his own team mates!

"Left is good; I agree with Muscle Man, lets keep moving, I need to get the feeling back in my everything." Jeremy was still hugging himself, frozen from the freezer.

To be honest Jude anticipated more of a fight at least from a couple of his teammates considering that a couple of them seemed like they'd argue with him nonstop but as of yet they hadn't they were getting along well but he supposed when there is a job to do everyone just set things aside.

It made Jude ... thankful.

He turned toward the doors and looked them over once more as if having only a moment of indecision after all one could have lead them to their goal sooner while the other could harm them but there was no turning back, "We've decided to take the left door," he announced to the talking statues and waited to see what they do next or if they'd have to open the left door themselves.

The first thing your team sees when the left door opens is bright pink light. A portal. If you observe further you'll notice that it leads to the inside of a tent of some kind. There is no time to ponder on staying or not staying as the room tilts and dumps you and your team mates in side. Not very kindly might I add.

You are now in the Backyard Tent, BUT, you can not leave the inside of the tent right now to join the battle out side.

OOC: You and your team mates are now in the tent. I will quote all of you when your next puzzle is ready.

Looked like Left was the right choice. Leon didn't even bother to rub the statues noses in it as he leo strut right past it and into the pinkish portal to heaven knows where, more like it just threw him in.

But the Boxer wanted to imagine that he had the choice.

"Hey, that wo- HOLYSHI-" Cass's anger seemed to be exchanged for complete surprise as the room tilted and dumped her a** into the pink portal, clinging to Marcus's arm the entire way down.

At first he didn't think much of a portal. Not the most unfathomable thing, given the freaks they had encountered. But when the whole room decided to up and move on them, forcing them into the portal? God damn it that wasn't on his game plan. Okay it was but he'd go on his own. Damn house from hell!
Pink portal waiting he figured it could have been worse. It could have been into a pit of death.

"Oh great, candyland." Was Jeremy's only comment to the mass of pink that the door opened to. He didn't have much time to think on the sudden appearance of the tent though, as the room was too busy playing slip-n-slide with him.

The summoning bell is rung. The room seems ready now that its rearranged it self to hold its guests. It rings out eerily for the group. A song only meant for their ears, and only their ears.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

The group will find them selves in a freaky sort of mirrored room. EVERYTHING IN THIS ROOM seems to be made of mirrors. Mirrors of all sorts! Ones that make you look fat, skinny, or even make your head look like a potato!

Is this a carnival mirror hall? Or perhaps the ending of a Bruce Lee movie? Or maybe this is that one scene from Batman the animated series with that freaky doll girl.

What ever sort of mirror room this is, your the main characters now. And you need to be getting to that door as soon as possible. You need to get through this maze of mirrors in one piece. Think you can handle that?

Quote:

OOC: To brave the mirror maze, you will need to go through four sections. Please roll the dice specific to the area you are in:

Section 1: 1d6
1, 3, 5: You stumble around, disoriented. Roll again.

2, 4: Success! You make it through the first part. Proceed to Section 2.

6: SCREW THIS! You become frustrated. Or angry. Or very sad over the fact that you're lost. Whatever you're feeling, you manage to hurt yourself for -2 HP. Roll again.

Section 2: 1d8
1, 2: After walking around for three minutes, you realize that you're right back where you started. Roll again.

3, 8: While navigating the mirror maze, you manage to trip over a mirror-table and nearly drop a mirror-vase filled with mirror-flowers. You klutz! Take -1 HP damage. Then reroll.

4, 5: Success! That wasn't too bad. You proceed on to Section 3.

6: You come across a mirror-toilet, and decide to spend a little while there. Mirror epiphany toilet! It doesn't seem to have gotten you any further along, though..

7: How did you...? Somehow, you made it back to Section 1. Please scroll up and roll a 1d6 and follow the listings there.

Section 3: 1d10

1: Hello, person, look at your maze, now back to me, now back at your maze, now back to me. Sadly, you're alone in this maze, but if you stopped getting separated from your group and started keeping a close eye on everyone, you could be as awesome as me. Look down, back up, where are you? You're still in the maze being watched by the GM running this room. What's in your hand, back at me. I have it, it's the luck you need to get through this maze to proceed on. Look again, the luck is now a minipet. Anything is possible when you roll a one in the middle of a dice game. You need to reroll a 1d10 and quote Marushii with your minis SN.

2, 3, 4: You're so lost. So, so lost. So reroll and try again!

5, 6: You made it! You continue on to the final section, Section 4.

7: You're lost. So, so very lost. What do you do? Easy: you follow someone. Pick a random group member, don't look at their roll. Treat what they got, what you got. Reroll or proceed as needed.

8: No. No. Hell no. You did not just go back to Section 1. But you totally did. Except you somehow navigated it and Section 2, lucky you. Reroll 1d10 and try again.

9, 10: Yep. Still lost. Reroll the 1d10.

Section 4: 1d12

1: Uggggh this maze is so trippy! First you move and it's like. WOW! So many other-reflecections of you move too! It's so disorienting! You need to roll again as a result.

2: Navigating the maze would be easier if you stopped trying to walk INTO the mirrors. Take -1 HP damage and reroll.

3: When you see it, you can't believe your eyes. There's... There's a mirror-couch. A couch made out of mirrors. It's not comfortable to sit on, but it's sturdy enough to stand on. You use it as a boost to peer over the side of the mirror-walls and look around. There's the exit! You cheating cheater: you navigate your way to the exit.

4: You have just about HAD it with this maze! Maybe you're angry. Maybe you're filled with despair. No matter what you feel, you either accidentally or on purpose give the wall a good shove. It falls over. Then it knocks down the mirror-wall after that, and the one after that, and the one after that until you have a clear path to the exit. It's too bad the walls sprung back up before you could run across them! Try again.

5: Navigating the maze would be easier if you paid more attention to where you were. You manage to hurt yourself for -1 damage. Reroll.

6: Through much trial and error, you manage to find the exit. Horray! Now all you need to do is wait at the exit for the rest of your group...

7: You have just about HAD it with this maze! Maybe you're angry. Maybe you're filled with despair. No matter what you feel, you either accidentally or on purpose give the wall a good shove. It falls over. Then it knocks down the mirror-wall after that, and the one after that, and the one after that until you have a clear path to the exit. Lucky break! You run across the fallen mirrors and reach the exit. Behind you, the mirrors spring back up into place.

8: Feeling lucky, you take random twists and turns... and get nowhere fast. Roll again.

9: When you see it, you can't believe your eyes. There's... There's a mirror-couch. A couch made out of mirrors. It's not comfortable to sit on, but it's sturdy enough to stand on. You use it as a boost to peer over the side of the mirror-walls and look around. There's the exit! You abuse this knowledge to reach the exit, except the exit isn't where you remembered it to be. In fact, you turned yourself around. Go back to Section 3 and reroll a 1d10.

10: You are so, so lost. But that's okay! You manage to find someone else in your group who's also lost and in Section 4. Through teamwork, the magic of friendship, and dumb luck the pair of you manage to make it to the end! Pick someone who is in Section 4 at the same time as you. Both of you exit the maze. You must pick someone at the exact time you roll a 10; you may not wait for another team member to get into section 4. If no one else is in your section, proceed by yourself to the exit.

11: You navigate this section of the mirror-room with ease. Why is everyone else having so much trouble? Your section of the maze is a large empty mirror-chamber. It feels like whoever built the maze forgot to add twists and turns to this area: it's an open room with nothing in your way. You practically waltz to the exit.

12: You know what's awesome about mirrors? Mirrors break. Sure there's the whole "Seven Years Bad Luck" thing associated with them, but you know what? Stuff that. You pick up a mirror-object and throw it at a mirror-wall and proceed with the destruction. You smash your way out of the maze, unaware that the maze is repairing itself behind you. You're out, but at what cost? If the next room requires you to roll a dice, you will AUTO FAIL that roll. If the next room does NOT require a dice roll, then you get away. Scott free. Lucky you.

The bell brought forth opportunities to forget himself in a task though the tasks up until now were either easy (thanks to the help of others) or just seemingly trivial in general and required him to choose something or another it seemed like a scoff worthy thing for the young Hunter as he now found himself facing a maze. He stared at it and pondered thoughtfully as to whether or not he should wait for his fellow teammates and they could all tackle this together.

Then again they did enough standing around and talking. Good idea or not the young man went ahead and entered the Maze.

Yom just made a small scoffing sound waiting to see how this would pan out.

The myriad of Judes stepping forward and walking seemed to do one thing and one thing only and confuse the ever loving crap out of him. He stumbled about and bumped lightly into the reflective surfaces trying to figure what end was up or down.

'Confussed my little Jude?' came a soft hissing voice from within his mind.

Jude's lips pulled into a thin line as he shook his head, "No I'm fine."

He turned into a dead end and stared at the distorted shape staring back at him somehow even more babyfaced than he usually was. With a small snarl of frustration he lashed out and punched it forming only a small crack in the mirror and a major pain in his hand.

Shaking out the pain he whirled around backtracked and tried what was hopefully a new direction.
