Shuffling forward cautiously, she winced as a tile somewhere behind her shot into the air and slammed against the ceiling. She was close now! If Lattice was right about the tiles, a few more steps should get her to the end... That made her almost smile. Almost.
"Just keep walking, walking, walking~" She continued to sing, unaware of how creepy it sounded.

Close enough... "Are we nearly at the end? Is there a door there, or something? I don't see any light. Don't tell me we'll need a key to unlock it...?"
If there were a key lying around, Lattice.. would have seen it, wouldn't she? And mentioned something? She couldn't see any sign that they were near an exit- granted, she couldn't see anything at all- did that mean they were stuck in this room?
She would bash a hole in the wall, or something, if she had to. Vieve did not like this room one bit.
.. Or wait. Did one of the exploding squares lead to a hole in the ceiling, or something? That would take you to safety instead of crushing you? Questions.. so many questions. She wasn't quite ready to take the risk of getting squished up against the ceiling again, though.

Lattice didn't linger.
Lattice didn't want to linger.
As soon as she was on the last tile she simply made a quick step off of it hoping that in the middle it wouldn't suddenly shoot up into the ceiling once again. Pain is beauty but there was no beauty in this pain.
Once off the tile she turned toward the others, "You are all getting closer. I am at the end," she said trying to raise her voice a bit and even trying to sound encouraging, "I'll check to see if the exit is open."
..If the exit was available to them already.

Edel inched another square right in slow motion. Really. Slowly.
Not like that would have helped, a toe onto the next tile triggered off yet another slam against the ceiling. She paused to ponder for a while - for those rare instances that there was no sound of a tile smashing into a ceiling, was it because there had been no interruption? Or that the ceiling didn't exist there?
The frost demon brushed the thought aside. If it had been something like that, Lattice would have been first to know and perhaps told them already.
Edel stretched out an arm to her right, trying to feel for a wall of sorts. She had to be near the other side somehow....

Lattice saw Edel get to the last tile, she paused her looking around to move forward to give Edel some hope and help she reached out and gently grasped the other Ghoul's hand, "You're at the end Edel, just one more step," she said softly with a small smile to her voice.
Gently the ghoul tugged at Edel.

Her questions went mostly unanswered, which she took to mean 'no', for now. Somewhat irritatedly, though, the salamander moved forwards again. The trauma of being pressed up against the ceiling had mostly faded away, though she was still cautious as she moved.
This was the last tile, if Lattice was right. But what... would happen after they reached the end?

Ah, Lattice must have seen an ink stained hand waving about because the next thing Edel knew was that someone had grabbed onto her hand and tugged her across. Was she on the other side?
Still holding onto Lattice's hand, Edel stretched her foot out to the right. It tapped lightly against a wall. Nothing happened. As if the frost demon didn't already know better, she decided to do the same with her left foot, stretching it out to the left. Nothing happened though, how strange....
Squeezing Lattice's hand slightly, the frost demon inquired, “Have you spotted an exit anywhere yet?”

Lattice seemed rather happy that Edel was now safe on the other side though her attention was now toward Vee as she quietly led Edel toward where the ghoul now stood on their own last tile, "Just one more step, Vieve." She murmured softly.
"As for your question and Vee's earlier one I hadn't had a moment to get a good look around just yet," Lattice replied, "I am pretty sure there is a door nearby I was more focused on helping you guys."
The Engraver hoped the ghouls didn't loathe her for not looking around as well as she ought to have.

Lightly hopping off the last tile, Vieve bumped into what she assumed was Lattice- something scratched her arm, and she pulled away.
Were they safe, now they had crossed over the grid? She supposed Lattice could concentrate better now they were on the other side... unless the tiles started moving towards them, there seemed to not be any immediate danger present.
"What else do you see?"

The room is plain and featureless, save for the ink and erupting tiles. But there is a door, and in front of it...four special tiles, each covered in an intricate pattern. Upon closer examination, the shapes of a mask, a spider, a salamander, and a snowflake emerge from the patterns.

I'm assuming that it is okay to just assume Lizzy got out, seeing how even if I roll next turn, nobody would be affected. :'D]
Lizzy, on the other hand, was still making her way across the room. The voices of her teammates were becoming clearer and closer though, which she took as a good sign, seeing how Lattice had mentioned that she was already off the tiles... And it seemed like Vieve and Edel had already joined her, meaning she was the last to finish.
The thought caused her to quicken her pace, walking with her hands out until she felt something... Soft. Immediately, her hand withdrew and she blushed - not that anyone could see it in the darkness - before muttering a soft, "Sorry." to whoever she had touched.
"Uh, so... Maybe we should all hold hands and have Lattice lead us...?" She suggested, tilting her head, "Getting separated sounds like a bad idea in this room..."

Lattice uttered a small sound of dismay when Vee bumped into her, "Sorry!" she uttered softly. She really didn't mean to be so pointy, honest! The ghoul shifted restlessly as took a gander while waiting for Lizzy she soon spotted the door as well as four other tiles that would need to be looked at.
The Engraver blinked lightly and then looked back at Edel and Vee, "Stay here for a moment and I'll go get Liz--.."
Pause and then she stared down at the hand that touched at her chest and it was just a quiet thoughtful sort of stare, "That wasn't my hand." Lattice pointed out helpfully. The apology was wordlessly accepted as she nodded her head a little, "I think I see a door. It has four tiles on it. There was something on them so maybe we should step on them?"
Hopefully they wouldn't rocket up into ceiling.

Oh, so she had accidentally- Ah, Lattice... Oh, Lattice...
Lizzy's blush darkened, and she silently thanked the haunted house for making it so dark that it was impossible to make out anything at all, "Uh, yeah..." She murmured before lowing her hands to try to hold onto something below the chest instead, "Four tiles...? What sort of something on them? Oh! Could you lead us there?"

Edel nodded in agreement before realising that the rest wouldn't be able to see that. “Yes, please take us there Lattice” she sounded in agreement.
Four tiles with something on them – a puzzle perhaps? And for some reason, the frost demon was sure that they had to step on them.
Hopefully not so they could hit the ceiling.

More tiles, now? After they'd just crossed a room full of them? And they were supposed to step on these tiles, too?
"You know, it's probably going to be a trap, or something?"
She followed the rest of the group, but cautiously; if there was a trap, she didn't want to get caught in it.
"More details about the.. tiles, Lattice?"
