Needing a rock was an understatement. She needed a mountain at this rate! She was still too afraid to move even in now-certain danger, where her limbs locked and that was it. The old blood tears continued to slide down her cheeks as Remi started to work his magic, but it wasn't until she heard his voice say her name again did she even consider listening to him; it was his repeated assurance that it was okay did she finally get the courage to peek an eye open. Her feet were still very warm with how close they were to the lava, but her eyes...saw grass. She smelled the grass, the soft wind, the pond.
Amrita's brain went BZZZZZZZFFFFT in a short circuit puff to try and figure out what was going on. But the Lava! The fire! Where did - What - How - Just - Her muscles were relaxing from their locks as she stared at the grass under her feet. What Remi was saying was only barely registering with her, as he tried to figure out what happened. In the end she decided to not look a gift horse in the mouth and instead scrambled forward onto Remi's square (D4), still clinging to him. Why wouldn't she?! He did something to fix it! She was still hiccuping from her earlier crying and she was still shaking, but at least she could move now.
Remi was still and forever be clung to though, sorry Remi.
Amrita yelped with pain as a stalactite came crashing down on her, grazing down her arm before spearing the poor turkey at her feet. It didn't hurt much thanks to her whole being undead thing, but the sudden pressure was enough to make her cling onto Remi all the tighter until it was over.

Xiu didn't move from her square--not yet, anyways--but she stooped down so that she could stare through the glass platform. Where there was once lava, there was now grass, flowers...and even that familiar scent of the outdoors overtook the previously unpleasant one. She nodded vaguely at Remi's reminder that this was all just an illusion, her gaze focused on the pond below. When she finally looked up, she cleared her throat and stared at the kitsune with wide eyes. "T-that's...very impressive, boss."
See? This was why he was the leader!
The Baku flinched violently when a stalactite suddenly crashed down on Amrita, her hands flying over her mouth in shock. After a beat of silence, she began to step towards the undead ghoul when she remembered that, considering that the glass on the previous step had cracked under the weight of two people, it would be a stupid idea to carelessly step forward. She had better stay where she was, or move forward. "A-are you okay, Amrita?" She reeeeeally wanted to get out of here!

Suddenly a stalactite fell on Raziel's head, shattering into a thousand pieces upon contact. It wasn't too damaging, but it did hurt a bit. He brushed the dust and rock bits off and checked himself to make sure everything else was okay.
Still holding onto the turkey from stepping onto the square, Raziel watched in awe as Remi turned the lava into a glorious green meadow. It was much less frightening, but there was still that itching reminder at the back of his head that there was lava behind the pretty image below. This time, instead of just stepping to the next square, Raziel had another plan.
Using the turkey to its fullest potential, Raziel thumped it on the tile in front of him a few times to test its reliability. He then slowly moved onto C1, keeping the turkey in his grasp. It could prove to be useful later.

exclaim THE TURKEY SQUAWKED LOUDLY (AND VERY DISAPPROVINGLY)Otherwise, nothing happened....... for a few peaceful minutes. And then suddenly, the tile Raziel was on broke away from the other tiles around it, moving first downwards, then upwards again...CATAPULTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!! ((Raziel loses 1HP! Please roll 2d8 to determine where you land! First dice = alphabet (just reroll if you get 7/8 the first dice) and second dice = number, IE. 4,5 is D,5))
In addition, the turkey Raziel was holding flies through the air, landing on the side of the group that the room needs to get to. Lucky turkey! Tile C1 settles back into place, and may or may not be safe to walk on again..

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH" was all that could be heard as Raziel began to fly through the air. His limbs were flailing and the turkey escaped from his grasp. This was not good. He landed with a THUD on A3. Slowly, he got up, his bum was definitely going to be bruised after this.
Looking around, he realized that he was only a step away from the safety of the other side of the room. Although his bum still hurt, he was definitely excited to not have to start all over at the beginning of this insane puzzle.

N..no, it seemed he wouldn't! Praise the turkey gods!
Apparently Raziel seemed to have skipped that stage, because the turkey, angry from being THUMPED on a tile, ran towards him and began pecking at him, all the while gobbling insults in turkey. Granted, it didn't do much damage, but then all of a sudden, the tile heated up, as if in Raziel's defense.. and the turkey dropped dead at his feet, with a squawk.
It appeared to be roasting.
But so did Raziel...... ((-3hp!))

"Ack! What the Jack?!" Raziel shouted as the turkey rushed him and began pecking at him. He was about to kick it when the heat of the tile began to reach his still grounded foot. It didn't take long for the heat to rise high enough that the turkey dropped dead in front of him. Also with this course of events, his own feet were burning from the temperature change.
Quickly, the alarm bells in his head began to go off, he needed to do something and fast. Raziel leaped from the tile to the safety of the ground just past the lava pit, doing a barrel roll in the process. His feet hurt really bad now, worse since he didn't even wear shoes. He sat on the ground holding his feet up just high enough so that they weren't touching anything.
Grunting with effort, Raziel reached out to grab the now roasted turkey and drag it towards himself. "Might as well make some use out of you.." he muttered angrily. He used the turkey to prop his feet up off the dirty ground. He was somewhat useless now, but hopefully he would heal enough to walk easily by the time his teammates made it over the pit of death.

It took a moment to steady themselves, but thankfully they were both on a new and safe square. He felt something grab his coat once more, looking over his shoulder at the little Baku. "Thank you... i think we are ok though. That glass only seemed to crack when the rock hit it." Was it safe to have 2 a square? He hoped so.
Remi had to admit, seeing the other boil catapult and then have a turkey attack him, under different circumstances, might have been funny. As her were, he stood silently watching and only when Raziel was safe and..using the turkey as a foot stool, did the corner of the kitsunes mouth curl up into a smile.
"Good aim bro." He yelled over, of course meaning the other boils flying lessons.
He had a moment before he heard a familiar noise above, a crack. Thankfully he made his illusion only cover up the lava.. so they could hear it. Little too late though. Remi tried to pull Amrita out of the way, pushing himself to step on the C4 square, but she was still hit. While he did not know these people.... he had to admit, he was worried for them. Did not want to see them hurt. Near death situations do that to a person. "Amrita? Xiu? Lacie?" Were they ok? The dust from the falling ceiling was clogging his vision somewhat.

"Oh!" She was certainly amazed by Remi's illusionist ability, only one step away from actually wanting to touch it. It was only Remi's warning that actually drew the little reaper back, sighing. A grassy meadow with flowers and a pond certainly sounded safer than a boiling lava pit.
On her way to C6, at the entire common of the catapult and turkey, Lacie could only look up -- over her head -- and to where Raziel landed before her eyes sparkled. "You didn't tell me you could fly!" Nobody had told her Raziel was a bird which made her go wide-eyed.
And Lacie also mistakenly believed that Raziel and the turkey were friends *a*~
Stepping onto the panel, she heard Remi's voice but did not see him. "I'm all right." She offered in a voice just loud enough to carry, hoping that their actions would not disturb any further stalactites. Remi, Amrita, and Raz had not escaped unscathed but Lacie believed they were all right. They had to be all right.

It explodes, leaving him pantless! Thank god for garments of the under sort! Remi finds himself flying through the air, landing with a crash on tile D8 and losing 3hp.
There is now a HOLE at C4! If you land on this square, -5hp!

wahmbulance INTRUDER ALERT! wahmbulance  exclaim WHAT JUST HAPPENED?! exclaim You are now in a battle! Lucky you! Hunters, please first roll 2d8 to determine which tile you land on! Halloweeners, you may move one tile each, and also react to this sudden intrusion! Please try to let the Hunters post first, so that you can properly react to them!
Please DO NOT start attacking until the next GM post! Instructions/ Explanations:
- Hunters, please read the first two posts on the first page to get an idea of what's happening!
- To keep things simpler, you will no longer need to roll 1d20 to see if stalactites fall on you. Safe from stalactites! Yay!
- Also, you may (for now) neglect trying to reach the other side of the room; BATTLE IS MORE IMPORTANTER, ok? : D
- For the purpose of RP, PLEASE ASSUME that there are tiles covering the entire lava pool.
- The map image in my post will show the status of tiles. At the moment, RED tiles are known safe tiles.
- Different tiles will result in different things happening to your character!
- Special effects from tiles only apply to ONE character! That is, stepping on a special effect tile NORMALISES it for anyone else!
- PLEASE STATE WHICH TILE YOU ARE MOVING TO, ie. [A4 to B4] at the top of your post!
- Otherwise, feel free to interact with your surroundings! Seriously, go wild!
Battle-related info:
- Please refer to the battle guide! You will need to post your status with each action post!
- In this thread, battle will proceed in ROUNDS.
- You may only attack/ heal once per round. You may continue to RP though!
- You can MOVE THEN ATTACK/DEFEND, or ATTACK/DEFEND THEN MOVE, preferably with both actions in the same post! One tile only, horizontal or vertical please!
- In addition, UNLESS your fear/weapon is long-ranged, you can only attack/defend someone on the square next to yours!
- Here is a chart showing attack ranges!

"Y-yes...I...I'm f-fine!" She wasn't all that convincing, but at least she had control of her voice now. Sort of. "I-is everyo---AH! RAZ!" The Vetala's words died in her throat as Raz went flying. Her backwards hands released Remi long enough to cover her eyes (palms facing out), which didn't work since she insisted on looking through her fingers. When he landed she squeezed her eyes shut, and once most of the noise calmed down she peeked an eye open.
"A-are you okay, Raz?! Do you need shoes? I have shoes!" They were in her bag, yes they were! It would be a shame for Raz's feet to get hurt again, and since she didn't really need hers...well, that was lucky, wasn't it? But in order to get the shoes to him, she needed to actually get to him!
Amrita had been about to step on C4 with Remi when he was...exploded and tossed. Oh no, Remi! But, as this trip seemed to continuously do, she was once more blocked from going to see if he was okay; people were raining from the sky, WHAT?!
WHAT WAS GOING ON?!
"REMI LOOK OUT!" Amrita cried out, pointing to the sudden person near him. She didn't know this Reaper-looking creature was bad news, but she did know if one person rained from the sky, there'd probably be more.

After having sat out for a good little bit, Raziel's feet were feeling much better. They were still sore, but at least he could walk. He stood up slowly, double checking the tile to make sure it wasn't going to burn the jack out of him again. Once standing, he released a swift punt to the side of the roasted turkey, sending it flying in another direction.
"I think I'm alri-" he was cut off as somebody began to rain through the ceiling. "What the?!" was all he could manage to get out afterwards. He wasn't sure who this new being was, but he decided that while he was nearby, he might as well go for whatever the shiny PING thing was.
He took a step onto A2 and picked up his new turkey weapon. Perfect for thumping.
