Musica's eyebrow raised under his mask as the third ninja made his way into the fight. The Mist ninja recognized him from the Chunin Exams, but only in passing as one of the fighters from Lightning. A wave of worry washed down his spine for Sai, thinking that a two on one fight had multiple way of ending badly. As Musica played those multiple ways in his head, he was surprised to see Notwen attack the third ninja. Musica winced when the clone burst into flame from the man's strike, more from sympathetic pain than anything else. A blow like from a Gentle Fist user would detrimental to a ninja's chakra, even if it was sent to the shinobi through a clone. Even Musica couldn't see Notwen from where he hid, he was certain that any attack he tried now would exhaust him. Being someone who was rather fond of using ninjutsu, Musica never cherished the idea of being locked from his jutsus. What stuck out to Musica, however, was that Sai was hardly a participant in this fight. While Notwen sent more clones to engage in the Lightning ninja, forcing him to move at blurring speeds to dodge, the redhead pondered the logic. It could have been just bad timing that the third ninja showed up, kind of like how it was that Notwen showed up. Musica was willing to accept that. What the Genin didn't understand, however, was why these two were fighting each other. By all reason, even Notwen blew this out of proportion, both of the Lightning shinobi should be fighting Sai, not each other. Musica took another look at the battle below, zooming in on the visible combatants with his Heikougan. For all appearances, Sai was sitting there, curled into a small ball with his furled wings. The entire time, than man had done nothing but defend from possible attack. Musica deepened his crouch as a second gust of wind came from Sai's wings, knocking the young man's hood back and almost knocking the young man from the roof. Musica changed his focus to the third ninja, just barely able to keep up with his movements as he weaved in and out of the clones. While this man was doing more attacking than Sai, none of it was unprovoked. Like Sai, this man looked like he was just defending himself and his friend from an attacker.
Before Musica could go over the rest of the details, or find the real Notwen, the air was suddenly clouded over with a thick fog. Being from Mist, Musica had no real problem making the shapes of the fighters in the cloudy atmosphere. But there was something odd about this fog. Musica closed his eyes and reached out into the fog with his senses, trying ti pinpoint this sensation. It was a jutsu created fog; Musica knew that already. But there was this essence to it, this feeling as if it were a living thing of it's own. A steady pulse beat against Musica's extended chakra senses, ba-bump, ba-bump. Like a heart beat. Musica's eyes widened and his senses retracted as the fog coalesced into the more tangible form of a giant. The young man was astounded with the sheer size of the thing. Musica glanced down to there his brother stood. Rodah nodded and, as the giant was still rising, Musica pushed chakra to his eyes in haste. His Heikougan started to rapidly spin, nothing more than a whirl of black and behind his mask. Rodah's body burst into an orb of black and white energy, and flew like a comet to Musica. The young man's body glowed faintly with the same light for moment, just as the giant raised it's arm up. Below, the onlookers screamed and started to run away in a panic. Musica shamelessly followed suite as the giant's arm came down, releasing a wave of water that destroyed any building it crashed into. The young man jumped from the building he was on as his perch started to crumble, landing on the next one. Immediately that building would crumble and he would instantly go to the next one, his cloak flapping in the wind. Musica looked down at the water and could feel the same presence as he did in the fog. He didn't want to know what would happen if he touched it, but judging by the people who were too slow to get out of the way, he guessed that it couldn't be good. Musica landed on a building that was far away enough that the giant's attack didn't reach it, turning to face the fight again. Without the zooming of his Heikougan, the only thing he would have been able to see was the hulking form of the giant. But, then again, other than Sai and the Lightning ninja, that's all there was to see. The young man watched as whatever buildings near the giant that it didn't collapse crumbled and fell to the ground as a large tremour shook the ground. Musica stared at the fight, his cloak and red pony-tail flapping in the breeze, a sudden desire to go home washing over his body.

Through her peripheral vision, it was not hard to see another ninja jumping atop the rooftops to escape the destruction that the colossal summon was creating. As the ninja approached she turned her head from the fight (Though it took all her willpower to glance away). He wasn't looking towards her, which means he was not after her, rather he was focused quite intently on the fight. The only distinguishing attribute that was visible on the ninja was the shock of red hair. And as he perched only a few feet away from her he seemed to not even notice her. While this was a good sign, Saru didn't like the feeling of being ignored, she had endured enough of it through her childhood and now she rather liked all the attention on her. Sitting on the ledge she Huffed indignantly, crossing her arms, turning her attention back to the fight.
"I thought I was all alone here too" She sighed, speaking aloud to gain the attention of the stranger who was admiring the view beside her. Saru, now that she had a better vantage point of the combatants was somewhat confused. At first she had thought it was simply a fight that had gotten out of hand between two lightning nin, as the Hitae-ate signified them as so. But now the Summon was destroying one of the most beautiful and oldest cities of lightning. Pursing her lips she watched as people were caught up in the water that was not water, being pulled in. She shivered, not wanting to think of the fate that befell them. "It's sad, huh" Saru said again, mostly commenting out loud about the destruction of the town. Saru realized then she was still gripping the peach pit in the palm of her hand, and holding out her hand she dropped it from atop the building, not watching the thing fall down to the water that lurked before.
She wondered idly, what this Nin beside her would think of the monkey-girl. In this form, she looked boyish, and it would be very easy to mistake her for one. She also didn't have on her Hitae-ate, which signified her as a ninja. Perhaps he would think she were just a child civilian, that had somehow managed to get on top of the building as an escape from the waters below. Of course she didn't bother to hide her feet-hands or her tail, but she figured that the man would probably be too interested in the fight to pay much attention to her anyways. As the lanterns of the city were wiped out, so was much of the visibility of the fight itself, concealed within the darkness. Saru thought herself lucky that she had a technique that allowed her vision even in the darkest areas as if it were daytime.
Discreetly Saru focused her Chakra to her eyes, and slowly the scene began to brighten to her. Everything was Monochromatic, with only hint of color in the most saturated of colors, and even then it was still dulled down exponentially. However, what the scene lacked in colors made up for in the visibility in the darkness of each of the figures.

All around him Sorain watched as the giant summon crashed against innocent villagers home and shops, the likes of which were many folk lively hood. "I thought I was supposed to be the bad guy?" Sorain thought to himself as he quickly began to anylize the situation in search of his next course of action. Obviously this water summon was the creation of who ever it was that had sent the clones out to attack him. Which meant that rather than go toe to toe with the beast and waste not only his own time, but risk even more unwanted damage to the town, Sorain figured that it would be better for him to locate the source of the jutsu. Through his Byakugan eyes, Sorain traced the source of the summon's chakra, all the way from its large shoulders, down to a coiling tail that ended by a single humanoid figure located just in the concealment of a near by roof. Instantly knowing that this was his true foe, Sorain changed his course, heading directly down the center of the town towards the building without hesitation or restraint. Just as he was approaching the front of the building Sorain curled down into a crouch before exploding into a leap, sending him high up and above the roof itself. As his body soared through the crisp night air, the sound of Sorains fur lined jacket fanned in the wind like a bird leaving its perch. Tilting his body forward, Sorain took a gentle fist stance in mid air. "Five palms!" he yelled as his body rapidly changed from an upward leap to a downward strike, landing two solid blows to his enemies shoulders followed by two to the neck and one directly in the center of his chest. "Ten palms!" he continued with two open handed strikes over his left and right lung, he then curved his index and middle fingers down so that only the middle knuckles of each hands were extended. Using them, Sorain quickly attacked the victims temples before finishing with an uppercut from the lower end of his right palm. "Twenty Palms!" Sorain continued his assault with ten swift strikes towards his targets rib cage, with each strike his arms snapped rapidly against his targets chest before whipping back to strike again. "Forty Palm Sweep!" Sorain finished his assault by repeating the entire series once more, thus doubling the amount of damage that he dealt out. Without even giving his opponent time to breathe Sorain returned with another combing attack. Spreading his hands open and slinging them back, Sorain's hands began to become surrounded in blue spiraling mist. As the mist continued to circle, Sorains entire body began to radiate a deep coldness that crept onto his opponents skin, creating chills. In an instant, Sorain tightened his grip into a fist, resulting in the spiraling like aura to become harnessed into his hands. "Fear the mighty hands of the Hyuuga!" Sorain snarled before unleashing another full twenty point barrage on the enemy, each strike hitting more devastating than the least and each strike specfiically targeting his enemies pressure points in an attempt to not only disrupt his chakra flow, but to potentially cancel out jutsu that were currently active, specifically, he hoped, the massive water summon. The water that had been part of the water embodiment's hands was torn apart by the human's technique, dousing the surrounding area in a small deluge. All over the small village, the people who had come in contact with the water from the earlier assault stopped running and grabbed their right hands, some crying out in bewilderment. The pain the summon felt had afflicted them equally. Calcifer swayed backwards from the blow, but as he swung forward to retaliate the human had managed to bore a hole through him. At this the creature collapsed backwards, badly damaging the buildings behind Notwen. Meanwhile, several of the afflicted villagers collapsed and went unconscious. The tougher people in that group fell to a knee while clutching their chests. A few went to help the fallen, but many stayed away, afraid of what might happen if they got too close to them. Back at the battle scene, Calcifer had regained his balance and was beginning to stand up again. The water at his chest reformed to its proper shape as he looked around to see where the insolent ant had gone only to see it run quickly towards his base. Alarmed, Calcifer shaped his arms into shields of thick water which he rammed into the ground just in front of the ant's path, one behind the other. To his incredulous dismay, the human burst through with relative ease. The water embodiment could only watch as this ant was able to keep going towards Notwen, plowing through his wall of coils. The dark-skinned blonde turned around to see if the water embodiment was okay, and was relieved to see him get back up. Sadly, Calcifer's mind was too archaic to try and connect with, but the Chuunin understood that Calcifer had his best interest at heart. Calcifer... I'm sorry... thought Notwen, closing his eyes and concentrating on all of his chakras. In a few moments all of the energy centers in his body began to spin at faster rates. I will not let your downfall be in vain! This technique's activation cost seemed to take more out of Notwen than it usually did because of whatever ailment Rizu had put on him earlier, but he did not mind. Memories of the time he lost his arm began to resurface. As Rizu barreled through Calcifer's last resort defense, Notwen's skin began to darken until it was nearly black and his hair went from dirty blonde to white. It was at that moment that the understanding of the full situation that had taken place since his Urajjo Chakra, the chakra of Understanding, was overtly active. What have i done... thought the Chuunin, at which moment Rizu began his strikes. The shoulder strikes landed, but Notwen's skin had toughened up. The pain was dulled enough to allow him to be able to knock away the strikes to his neck and a handful of others from finding their mark. However, over fifty blows landed on his body and the last one sent a cold sensation creeping into his chakra system. The three-eyed Uchiha held on to Rizu's wrist just before he had a chance to removes his hand from the last place he struck. Above them, Calcifer's rings disappeared in a cloud of smoke and his frame sagged before collapsing on top of Notwen and Rizu. The sheer weight of the water falling on top of them brought Notwen down on one knee. It took the better part of one minute for all of the water that Calcifer had been composed of to finish falling and disperse into the surrounding village. " Why...? Why didn't you help me take him down?" asked the dark-skinned blonde in a hoarse whisper. " Why did you attack me when it was clear who the true enemy was?..." The chuunin was wracked by a fit of coughing tainted with blood, but he held his ground and held Rizu in place. Notwen wanted some kind of explanation, even if it killed him. By no means was Musica an expert at law, but he was positive that destroying part of your own country had negative consequences. Watching over half of the old village of Gryu'jiong fall to the ground, Musica couldn't help but imagine just how high insurance was going to be. Rodah's chuckle echoed over Musica's thoughts. 'Shouldn't you be worrying about Sai?' His brother mentioned with an amused tone. 'He's not going anywhere,' Musica shot back, locking on to Sai with his Heikougan.. Sure enough, the terrorist was still sitting in his little ball, probably sleeping through the commotion. Musica shifted his gaze back to the giant. As expected and previously noted, it was huge. Musica's eyes traveled down the things body, leading his vision down it's liquid torso and across it's tail. As he kept examining it, he saw how the tail coiled itself around, what Musica was assuming was the real Notwen, finally come out to play. Musica scanned the immediate vicinity for the other Lightning shinobi, but without the use of a jutsu like the Byakugan, there was no way to find him. Musica figured that, like himself, he was avoiding the water created by Notwen's giant.
Musica was about to remove his mask, as he was no longer worried about being spotted, before an indignant sight reached his eyes. The young man's body twitched in reflex as he turned to look at the source of the unexpected sound. The Genin quickly spotted his roof-mate, the only other possible reason for the sigh. 'Oh, it was just a monkey.' Musica thought calmly, slowly turning his head back to the fight. The young man watched the giant for a few seconds before a thought hit him, and his head whipped back to do a double take. Musica crouched low, face level with this new being. By all respects, it looked human, though the gender was kind of hard to tell. At first glance he thought it was a young boy, but upon closer inspection of it's features, he soon realized it was a young girl. Musica met the girl's eyes with his own, his blank expression hidden behind his mask. “You.” He responded, slowly. “Are a monkey.” Rodah suddenly burst into a fit of laughter inside Musica's head. 'How did you not notice a monkey-boy-girl-thing sitting right next to you?!' Musica's eyebrow twitched as he mentally shot back 'I'm sorry. I was too busy trying to /survive!/' Musica followed the young girl's gaze to the living water, listening to the screams of unlucky citizens. He closed his eyes and repressed a shudder, focusing it all out. Musica looked at the girl's eyes as she looked down, noticing something odd. Something he wouldn't have noticed without the higher quality vision his Heikougan provided him. Her eyes, when she spoke of the destruction, were suddenly heavier, more experienced. Filled with life someone this girl's age should have experienced. And just how did she get up to this building? It was only a hunch, and a small one at that, but there was something interesting about this girl. Aside from looking like a monkey. “You shouldn't be here,” he continued, turning back to the fight at the same time she did. “Your family would be worried sick if they knew you were here.”

At the Man's comment Saru had to turn her head and give him a very unsurprised look. Propping her head on her hand she sighed "Close, but no cigar. But I can see how someone as Smart as you could get the two confused" she muttered, putting emphasis on the word smart, her voice dripping with sarcasm. Although she was used to people comparing her to the animal, the sheer fact that they had to comment on something so obvious usually annoyed her. Or perhaps she was just tired of being told something that she already knew. Either way she watched the scene from afar, though she was unable to make out any of the fine details of the combatants, she could see basic movements and the glimmer of techniques used whenever the Chakra became visible.
When he continued to talk with her Saru grinned, an almost childlike grin as she thought about his question. Leaning back she glanced back over to the man and swung her legs back and forth before responding "My Parent's also told me to not listen to strangers, so does that mean I should be here?" Her golden eyes held a glimmer of her playful attitude, before she tilted her head to the side. Her mother was of course, dead, and her father might as well be..... but this man didn't have to know her life story. Plus is was just so much more interesting toying with people, especially in this form where she could get away with much more than if she were in her older form.
Her eyes were brought back to the fight when the huge monster fell, an obvious sign of who was garnering the upper hand in this battle. Saru was surprised though, for something so large, it didn't seem to put up much of a fight, and to be honest was kind of a let down. She sighed, obviously disappointed with the lackluster performance of the behemoth, although the tremors were still happening and with more intensity as time went on. It was almost as if the earth was a time-bomb, just waiting for the battle to reach it's crescendo. Turning her attention back to the man who sat beside her she spoke again, "Anyways Mister, what are you doing up here? And what's with the Mask?" It was obvious that it was only an imitation of an ANBU mask, and that he probably wasn't an actual ANBU, but she figured she would post the question regardless

'So as I was saying, there's no real way to bypass standard travel times, even by horse the animal eventually gets tired. You should research more into wind to get an airship running; you'll be riding high in the steam era while they're looking up in awe; and machines never tire like horses!'Where in hell would I park an airship. Does it look like we have docks for those things here? I mean sure its a nice idea, but I can just learn teleportation and travel just as fast.''But not nearly as much style as an airship would bring. Plus, it's the chance to have a jolly crew of sky pirates and-''Oh just can it. I'm a ninja, not a pirate. And there is no such thing as a Pirateninja; it's a recipe for people wanting to murder you and hang your skin out in a tannery.''You should really have that temper looked at. It can't be healthy for you. Sure you can keep a relative calm in combat, but a few taunts from the voice in your head and you go apeshit? That's a bad sign my friend''Because you're in my head, I can't just block you out when I want to! If I could just put a perception filter on my mind I could very easily ignore you unless I wanted to be found; but no you have to creep into my mind and taunt me and put outrageous ideas in my head. I don't even like being on a boat, let alone some deathtrap that mildly resembles a boat and could drop me a thousand miles out of the sky as opposed to a nice splash in the water. At least I know I can swim! And don't you even try thinking of suggesting Bukujutsu; I lose control of my levitation going higher than sixty feet. A thousand feet is impossible to use Bukujutsu, and you know it.''Now that's no way to go referring to the majestic airship! It's not a deathtrap! Unless you replace the engine gears with paper clips and rubber bands... then I suppose it would be very much a deathtrap.''Okay that's it, we're headed straight to market, we are finding a cartographer, and then we are headed to whatever that village's name is.''Mizuho. And to answer your future question; yes I never wrote it for you initially because I didn't have a name for it at first.''GAH!!!!'[21 / 20] Line Count: Before [40] + This Post: [21] = New Count: 61 ~ NOW to the Marker Square xD

'That power is seriously surging', Cruxis took a brief reading of the combat area in order to ascertain the danger before moving out of the area as fast as he possibly could. Yes he was a ninja, yes he was supposed to defend his village from threats; but he was only a kid - he knew he was far too outmatched to attempt an intervention on this power source. His fist instinctively grasped towards the address of his grandmother before bolting along the outskirts of the village in order to cross it. 'This is going to be difficult' he thought as he maneuvered carefully along the rooftops, attempting to avoid the fight as best as possible; placing up his perception filter genjutsu upon himself in order to avoid as much attention as possible. He knew for a fact that the powerhouses of this battle could easily destroy him with barely a motion. Avoiding them was the very best option if he could afford to do so. The water below Musica rose in a small wave as the colossal summon collapsed into it's own miniature ocean. Musica shifted his gaze down to the remaining villagers as the screams rose to a crescendo. He noticed rather quickly that only the drenched citizens were screaming. Some were cradling one of their hands. The same hand, Musica noted, that the Lightning shinobi had removed from the water giant during the exchange. Other were clutching at their chests, some screaming, some falling silently falling to the ground. The Genin looked down at the living water as the summon melted into it's own puddle, working the strings of thought together. 'So anyone who touches the water is linked to the summon, feeling everything that it feels,' Musica contemplated, actually resting his chin in the crook between his thumb and index finger. 'It would have been useful as a deterrent. If that other guy actually managed to get hit, a link would be established. Once he inflicted pain on the giant, so to speak, he would feel it. After that, human nature would kick in, and he'd be hesitant to cause pain to, or even kill, the summon, for fear of killing himself.' Musica reached into his cloak, then into his pocket, pulling out a small notebook and pencil. 'Have to remember that for later.' The young man opened the book and started drawing what the summon looked like. More like /tried/ to draw it. It turned out more like a child's doodle, with an oval body, circular head, and a face made of two dotes and a line. The only real resemblance his drawing had to the actual summon was the overly long arms. And coiled tail. Musica looked up from his notebook and placed it down on the roof, shifting his gaze back at the young girl as she spoke.
“Well, if you /really/ want to listen to your parents, then you wouldn't be here.” He said in a matter-of-fact tone. “If you shouldn't listen to strangers, then you shouldn't hang around strangers. Que-ee-dee, you /still/ shouldn't be here.” Musica shrugged, pausing for a moment before answering the girl's next question. How would one say “an old lady who I think was a ghost gave it to me for free before disappearing like she was never there?” “I missed out on Trick-or-Treating as a kid, so I'm making up for lost time.” Musica retrieved his book and put the granite of his pencil to the paper, getting ready to write. But his theory of connection to the giant was just that: a theory. And with the giant gone, there was no real way to test it. Unless. . . . Musica made a focusing hand seal with his left hand, and holding out his right hand and made a small effort of will through his hand. It was a small effort of chakra to make a small funnel of energy from his palm to the water below. The Genin pulled a bit of water through the funnel and held in front of him, floating in the air before his torso. Musica gulped and slowly reached his hand into the water. Instantly, Musica's hand burst into pain as intense as white hot flame from the wrist up, a pain so great that he couldn't even scream. Despite the fact that he was looking at his hand with bulging eyes, it still felt as if it had been sliced off. Musica's breath came in heavy for a moment before, slowly, the pain receded into a cool comfort, feeling returning to his hand. Musica let out a breath, glad his hand was back. He felt a small sense of satisfaction that his theory had been right. But it didn't last long, as he figured out what that meant. “That's what I get for wanting to be right,” Musica muttered under his breath, through clenched teeth.

Saru watched the man, Since she couldn't really make out any details of the battle, she instead watched as he drew a (Not that great) image of the monster that had just fallen. She watched, taking a glance every now and then at the battle although it was a useless endeavor. Every now and then, the screams of the people who were caught in the torrent echoed throughout the shells of the now-destroyed building. The city in all had transformed from a serene and enjoyable town to something of nightmares. "Not too handy with drawing, huh" Saru commented offhandedly. When he responded to her smart a** comment she had to grin again, at least the guy was interesting. Listening to his retorts it was also obvious that despite his earlier comment about her being a monkey, he was a pretty astute ninja, something she respected in other ninja.
Crossing her arms again she raised an eyebrow, giving him a sly smile, "Well, if my parents told me to get to safety, than I AM listening to them, Not only that, if they said only not to listen to strangers and never said not to hang around them, then I am doing nothing wrong. " Saru was no idiot, and she knew how to work her way around technicalities. She had always been a calculating sort, it was the reason she often passed the written portion of the exams with the highest grades. His Smart a** comment annoyed her some, but she wasn't exactly being so forthcoming about herself anyways. As Ninja it would be almost silly to explain yourself to someone else. Noticing that the man was making a hand seal she watched curiously, and watch as he held up some of the water before touching it. She didn't know why he was so trepidatious, but it became obvious when he just stood there, looking to his hand. Getting up Saru boldly ventured closer, and managed to partially catch him when he fell to the ground clutching his chest.
She realized, that when he touched the water, where the fallen giant had been injured was where he had felt whatever pain had ailed him. Even with her Night vision, from this distance Saru could not make out any thing distinctive about the battle. Taking this opportunity while he was slightly stunned Saru pulled off the mask, her golden eyes spotting his odd eyes. In each iris was the shape of what resembled a Yin-Yang symbol. Before he fell though Saru reached out, catching him. The sudden action however, caused Saru's hitae-ate to fall from her vest, bouncing off the ground before falling with a "plop" into the water. "Damnit, that was a new one too.." Saru muttered, more upset at the fact that her new headband was now gone than the fact that her identity as a ninja had just been revealed to this mysterious man who she was currently holding.
Saru moved the man so he was face up, looking at her rather than over her knees. She was not a Medical ninja, although her teacher at one point had told her she had the capacity to become one. Instead she only knew crude field medicine that all Academy's teached Genin as a part of their coursework. She had no sort of Salve of Balm on her, so she leaned over and looked into his eyes, " Are you okay? Can you speak?" It was routine Field medicine procedure, to see how critical the situation was. Although Saru didn't know this man, he hadn't shown her any sort of aggressive actions and so she decided that if anything she should at least Try to help him.

Cruxis's altered route to leave the village via the roundabout route took longer, but offered him some degree of distance from the ongoing battle that was starting to finally simmer down. 'Those chakra surges were vicious... As much as I'd love to try and study them, the risk is there's still someone out there who could run me through for even attempting to get close to the fight, or at least whats left of it...', he noted the end comment as a large source of chakra vanished out of thin air. How something could just vanish out of thin air he had only two guesses. Either someone had died, or a large source of chakra; likely a summon; had been either dispersed or dismissed; by the violent burst of energy prior to its vanishing he would take a guess at dispersed. This only served as a further motivation to get the hell out of the area; the gennin found himself bolting across the rooftops making it to the village wall before activating his bukujutsu in order to hop over the wall and float safely down to the ground, landing on three limbs before forcing himself up into a standing position. 'Between bears, raiders, and god knows what else; I'm going to have to really watch myself... This path should take me straight there,' he noted as he summoned his magic map genjutsu in order to projectthe map in the palm of his hand, rotating the image so that it was pointed as he would see it, 'I'm on my own for this; no Notwen-sensei to deliver a flaming kick to a bear's face or Takeshi to push me out of the way... Anything that happens from now on, I am not going to back away from; so long as I feel confident I can stand up to it at least... I've proven adept at running away for too long though...'He gave a final humph and bolted towards the forest path, determined now. He had to train and grow stronger for his own sake, if anything; so that he would never have to run away when something like this appeared. 'Not your best idea,' Rodah chuckled slyly. 'Not gonna lie.' Musica growled under his breath, barely noticing as the weight of his mask as it came off. The pain in his chest was just under undearable. It felt as if a giant (a part of Musica laughed at the irony) shoved a spike through him entirely, and then ripped it back out, taking his heart with it. Like when his hand went through the same thing, he knew it wasn't real. He /knew/ for a fact it wasn't. But, every time he tried to convince his mind that, a painful throb erupted from his chest, just to prove him wrong. So, instead of trying to convince himself of it's nonexistence, he detached tried to detach himself from it. Slowly his vision extended and a thick black line surrounded it's edge, much like how a screen in a movie theatre looked. Musica felt as if he were watching everything as if it /was/ a movie in slow motion. The young man felt a presence at his side as he collapsed, something sturdy enough to keep him from plummeting. He slowly turned to his side, catching sight of the monkey girl, his expression vacant as he pushed the pain into the back round of his mind. Movement from the girl's jacket caught his attention. He watched as a ninja band fell from her pocket, the slow motion catching every detail, including the Cloud Village symbol. The band fell with a splash and Musica looked back at the girl, now with his head in her lap. An echo of suspicion rang dully through his thoughts. 'She isn't who she appears to be.' Musica's Ying-Yang eyes meet the girl's gold one's, searching. In his detached state, it felt like he had an eternity to think, to ponder. The first thing he noticed were her eyes: the held more knowledge, more experience, than someone her age should have had. He had noticed it before, but it didn't really make sense at the time. Taking into consideration the headband that fell from her pocket, it made a bit more sense. If this girl was really a shinobi at her age, she would have more experience. Musica once heard a story where some thirteen year old kid in Leaf Country that became ANBU at age thirteen. But there were only ever a few cases like that in the world, give or take a couple of years between each prodigy. The last thing was that she was a bit stronger than someone her age should be, prodigy or not. If she hadn't caught him, Musica would have fallen from the roof and into the water below. A fate he didn't feel like tolerating right now. A young prodigy could fight someone who was older than them and had more muscle to them by redirection and thinking ahead. Not by meeting them bulk for bulk. Musica didn't have a lot of muscle on him, but he was a fairly tall person. Typically, someone this girl's age should have had a harder time supporting him than she did. But, maybe she was a Taijutsu prodigy. Who knew? Musica only had a theory, until he could prove it beyond a doubt.
Uncertainty irked Musica's mind as the pain in his chest slowly subsided. Focus came back into his eyes at the same rate, and his movie vision slowly receded. Musica looked at the girl's face, catching her worried expression. She was smart, he would give her that, turning around everything he was saying. Mentally, his smiled slowly as she asked if he was okay. His turn. “But the fact that you're talking to me right now, then you'd want a response.” He responded softly, his mental smile spreading into a small smile on his lips. He rose gingerly, making sure everything was working fine. “Which would mean you'd be listening.”

Saru watched at the man in her lap stared blankly, her eyebrowed furrowed together as she asked the question once more, "Hey... You ok? " when he didn't respond she moved her hand to his neck, searching for a pulse. Although it was erratic, his heartbeat was strong and there was no sign of any sort of immediate threat, just in case however she kept a hand on his pulse while attempting to get him to respond. She realized that soon his odd eyes were almost searching hers, and she shifted some, obviously uncomfortable with it. Soon his heartbeat began to slow and even out and recognition returned to his eyes, and then he even spoke. She pursed her lips at his words, and stood up, dropping him roughly and crossing her arms.
Turning her gaze back to the waters she wondered if he had picked up on her headband falling, she had no way to know for sure unless he mentioned something about it. "And this is all the thanks I get for helping you?" She retorted, mimicking him by making an expressionless stare with her mouth slightly agape. When she felt she had gotten her point across she stuck out her tongue and turned her eyes back to the scene. She had realized that something had assisted him in watching from this far back, thinking back on it now it was probably the reason he had not seen her at first. "So I guess those weird eyes of yours are what allowed you to see the fight, and as such realize that touching that water caused a connection to that huge...thing." She was mostly musing aloud to herself, but she spoke to him too, to let him know that she had already pieced together quite a bit from just his actions.
She turned back to him and grinned. "Oh... And I don't have any parents" She said with a shrug. It was painfully obvious now that she had just been toying with him, and even moreso that she was exceedingly clever. Even most ninja from the academy didn't have the capacity to piece together information that quickly, and that alone was a dead giveaway to just how smart she actually was.
